CHAPTER ONE
(Em's P.O.V)
I got back to cabin 7 and slipped inside. I tried to make it to my stuff but he saw me.
Will: EM!!!!!!!!!!
He trapped me in a bear hug.
Will: I was so worried! Where were you?
Me: Relax Will I was just in Manhattan checking on something for Chiron. No big deal.
Will: Actually HUGE deal! Why did you go without telling me? You know how worried I get.
Me: Sorry Will. I'll tell you next time before I leave camp.
Then the light outside our window dimmed.
Me: I've got to go
Will: Where?
Me: I'm just gonna go find Dez and tell her i'm back.
Will: No your not.
Me: You got me. It doesn't matter where. Just relax i'm not leaving camp.
I walked out the door before he could reply. It was true i wasn't leaving camp. But he was right about me lying about looking for Dez. I walked into the forest and looked around. Where was he? I know he's here, he told me by dimming the light outside my window. Suddenly, I felt a hand on my shoulder. Before I could react he spun me around and I was staring into the eyes of the camps most feared demigod. My boyfriend Nico di Angelo.
Nico: I see you got my message.
Me:Yep, I missed you. It's been two years since Bianca was reborn and I barely get to see you.
Nico: I know it's hopeless. Which is why i'm just gonna give up on it and stay here with you.
Me: I was hoping you would stay.
Then i leaned in and kissed him. After, i went back to his cabin to help him unpack. When we were done we both just layed there on the bed and i started to fall asleep.
Nico: I Love You.
He whispered it as i fell fast asleep.
(Nico's P.O.V)
When I woke up Em was still asleep next to me. Her hair was down and spread underneath her head like a golden pillow. I didn't want to wake her up but I knew I had to. I gently shook her shoulder.
Me: Em wake up you need to get back to your cabin before anyone wakes up.
I whispered it gently so I wouldn't scare her.
Em: Thanks Nico.
She gave me a quick kiss and slipped out the door.
(Em's P.O.V)
I left cabin 13 and quietly made my way back to cabin 7.Unfortunately i wasn't sneaky enough. Because Drew caught me.
Drew: So your boyfriend is back again. How long is he staying this time?
Me: This time he isn't leaving.
Drew: Sure he isn't.
Me: Shut your mouth Drew.
Drew: Mind your tongue or I'll have to tell everyone about you and Nico, even Will.
Me: What do you want me to do this time Drew?
Drew found out about me and Nico dating last summer. Now whenever she wants something she sends me to do the dirty work.
Drew: Piper tells you everything right?
I nodded.
Drew: Good. Your job is to find anything about her that i can use to humiliate her. got it?
Me: Yes.
Drew: Excellent.
I know it's terrible but if anyone finds out that me, the daughter of the god of light and the sun, was dating the son of the god of the underworld Imagine what people would think of me. It's bad enough I was Roman. Drew walked away and I slipped into my cabin without anyone else seeing me.
CHAPTER TWO
(Piper's P.O.V)
I was sitting at the edge of the lake reading when Emily came running towards me.
Em: Piper I need to talk to you some where private.
Me: Sure.
We went to Bunker 9 since Leo was in Manhattan for the day with Jason and Percy.
Me: What's wrong Em?
Em: It's about Drew.
That's not good. No wonder she wanted to go somewhere private.
Em: Remember two summers ago when I came to camp Half-Blood?
Me: Yeah everyone avoided you.
Em: Not everyone
Her voice was barely audible.
Em: One day I was tired of everyone avoiding me so I took off into the forest. While I was out there someone found me and didn't cower away from me.
Me: Who?
Em: Nico di Angelo.
Holy Hera.
Em: He walked up to me and asked why I was out there. I told him I was there because I was Roman and everyone wanted me gone. He sat down next to me and said 'Not everyone'. Then he kissed me.
Me: That's great!
Em: Yeah except last summer, Nico and I were walking on the beach late at night. Later on my way back to cabin 7 I was confronted by Drew. She told me she knew about me and Nico and if I didn't obey her she would tell everyone.
By now there were tears streaming down her face.
Me: Why are you telling me this?
Em: Because last night Drew gave me my newest assignment. To get you to tell me an embarrassing secret to tell her so she can embarrass you.
Me: Why do you care about Drew telling everyone?
Em: Because I'm already an outcast to most of the camp. What's gonna happen if they knew this?
Me: So you're listening to Drew so that she won't tell everyone?
She nodded.
Me: Then why don't you break her hold on you.
Em: Huh?
Me: Take the power out of her threat. If you tell them then Drew's got nothing to manipulate you with.
Emily took a deep breath.
Em: Okay who first?
Me: Secrets like this deserve to be known first by those you love the most.
Em: Will.
Me: Well let's go.
(Em's P.O.V)
Piper came with me to my cabin. We went in and, thankfully, Will was the only one there.
Will: Hey Em. Sup Pipes.
Piper: There's something Em needs to tell you.
Will turned to face me.
Will: What is it Em?
Me: I've kinda been dating Nico di Angelo for the past year.
Will looked pale. And sat on the edge of his bed looking sick. I used my Vitakinesis to return some color to his face.
Will: Thanks but why didn't you tell me?
Me: Cause i'm already a Roman i didn't want to be thought of as any more of a freak.
Will stood up and gave me a hug.
Will: You're not a freak. You saved the camp. So what if he's the son of Hades? it's not your fault that your in love.
Me: Thank you for understanding.
Piper: Awwwwwwwwwww!!
I turned to her.
Me: If a word of this escapes your mouth so help me gods!
Piper: Okay message recieved.
We walked out of the cabin.
Me: Who's next?
Piper: Well, I know Annabeth is suspicious.
Me: K let's go.
(Annabeth's P.O.V)
I was reading a book on the architecture of ancient Greece when I saw Emily and Piper walk up.
Me: Hey what's up?
Piper: You were right is what's up.
I was confused. Suprisingly.
Em: I've been dating Nico for about a year
Me: oh thats great! i'll go tell Percy and Jason
I took off running.
(Em's P.O.V)
It was almost time for dinner when we finally found Dez. She was sparring with Clarisse. And winning!
Piper: Dez we need to talk.
Dez didn't pay any attention to us. Then i had an idea
Me: Dezerai Delilah Stoll! Come here now!
Dez turned around.
Dez: What?
Me: Oh nothing much Piper got a new snowboarding jacket, Annabeth got a new book, I've been secretly dating the son of Hades for a year.
Dez: NICO????
Piper: Yep that's him.
Before Dez could respond. The dinner horn sounded.
Me: Let's eat.
CHAPTER THREE
(Em's P.O.V)
I was on my way back to my cabin after dinner when Drew grabbed my sleeve and pulled me behind cabin 2.
Drew: So? What do you have for me?
Me: Nothing. I'm done bowing down to you
Drew: Excuse me? What did you just say to me?
???: She said she's done bowing down to you.
Piper stepped out from behind a column.
Drew: Emily Esme Solace you will obey me or I will tell everyone about you and Nico.
Me: Go ahead. And after maybe you'll come up with something to tell them that they don't already know.
Drew: What???
Piper: We've already told everyone about them. So you've got nothing on her.
Drew turned and stomped away.
(Nico's P.O.V)
It was 11:oo pm when I heard a light knock at my door. Only one person comes anywhere near here at night. I opened the door. There was no one there. I looked down and saw a piece of paper with Emily's writing on it. It read:
The boy that walks among shadows,
The girl that runs in the light,
the tale of the ghost and the arrow
is the one that I read every night.

She signed her full name. And it was beautiful. On the back was written:
TO: My Ghost Boy
I'll be at the beach.
Ghost Boy? Really? Haha very original. I sighed and walked to the beach. When I got there She was sitting on the lowest branch of a nearby tree watching the waves crash ashore.
Me: Ghost Boy? Really?
I walked to the tree and climbed up to sit with her.
Em: It got you to come down here didn't it?
Me: Fair enough. What is it Em?
Em: Emily
Me: Huh?
Em: Call me Emily when we're alone.
Me: Okay then, Emily, what why am I here?
Emily: For this.
She kissed me. And there we were two thirteen year olds sitting in a tree kissing at 11:00 at night.
