(Yeah me and Nya got a nail salon the grand opening was 3 day before the clubs)
"Ok just sit your hands under the dryer and you should be out of here less than five minutes." I told my client.
The nail salon was making a lot of money ever since the grand opening. Nya was working with me along with a few others. I wanted Nya to be with me every step of the way during our success.
"I think you and Pesos should have a real conversation." She said.
"What made you say that?" I asked.
"Well think about it like this you to good to be somebody's baby mama and beside you and Pesos are just meant to be." She said.
"You're right I just don't want our child to be apart of that lifestyle." I sat down.
"Then make that be clear, I'm not even saying you and Pesos should get back together. Just start over as friends have that first date you know fall in love more." She said.
"When have you decided to be team Pesos ?" I asked.
"I don't want you to be a single mother you always wanted a family so why not get that so stop being a selfish person and talk to him ." She said.
"Maybe you're right, I'll talk to him." I said.
"Yeah about that he should be on his way since you have lunch in a few." She said.
"You're so irritating." I rolled my eyes.
"You love me though." She laughed and walked off.
I began cleaning my area and grabbed my purse to start heading out for lunch.
"Candy wait up." Pesos got out of his car and walked beside me.
"Hey." I said.
"Hey how are you?" He asked.
"I'm good I was just on my way to get something to eat, want to tag along?" I asked.
He smiled and nodded.
"It's this burger spot down the street." I said.
He nodded and we began walking, it was quiet for a minutes.
"Soooo." I said.
"I'm sorry for how I came at you the other night." He apologized.
"I'm sorry for telling you that way and it's our child not just mine." I apologized.
"I know you were just upset." He opened the door for me.
I walked in and we got seated.
"What can I get for you two?" The waiter asked.
"I'll just have a double cheese burger with curly fries." Pesos said.
"I'll have a double cheese burger with bacon, ham extra pickles lettuce and chilly cheese on the fries." I sat my menu down.
The waitress looked at me.
"I'm eating for two." I said.
Pesos laughed.
"Drinks?" She asked.
"Sprite." Pesos said.
She nodded and walked away.
"So how's the shop and the club coming along?" He asked.
"It's coming along good thank you for the money." I said.
"You don't have to thank me Babe it's good." He said.
"I want to talk about the other night." I said.
"Yeah what about it, I miss you you miss me what's the issue?" He asked.
I rolled my eyes
"I do miss you no lie but I want our child and Dyamond to be far away from that life." I said.
"And they will Denijia I won't let our babys get hurt." He said.
The waiter sat our food and drinks down.
"I know, but you said you wouldn't let me get hurt." I began eating.
"Ok...let's make something clear six months in our relationships you knew what you were getting into, If I could drop this lifestyle I would but I'm in to deep it's either I die or go to prison...I love you Denijia I really do and I would do anything for you...but I need you to understand what I go through to." He began eating his food.
"You absolutely right and I'm sorry you were just trying to protect me and all I did was complain." I said.
"That's not true you did complain every now and then but I don't blame you, your father abandons you, you just found out you have a brother and now we have a baby on the way." He said.
"I don't want to be someone's baby mother Pesos , I love you always will and I want us to work on us before the baby comes as work for Dyamond too ." I said.
"And we will Candy I got this city on lock." He grabbed my hand and looked at me.
I smiled.
"You still love me?" He asked.
"I always will." I smiled.
"I love you to." He said.
We continued to talk about things and the baby and Dyamond . We established that we were back together but we were working on us.
"I enjoyed lunch with you." I smiled.
"I enjoyed it to, I've got to go handle some business but I'll see you later." He said.
I nodded and he smiled.
"Lay it on me." He said.
I laughed and gave him a hug and a kiss. It was all new to me because we were in public and everyone in my shop was eye balling through the windows.
"I love you be safe." I said.
"I love you to." He got in his car and pulled off.
I walked back into the shop to see everyone looking at me. Some of them was mean mugging, jealous ass bitches. I walked over to Nya and sat down.
"I see that went well." She said.
"Yeah it did." I said.
"So How has things been with you and Quan?" She asked.
"We gotten closer, I'm glad he decided to move down here." I said.
"Well That is good." She said.
We talked for a few more minutes until I had a client come in.
Pesos POV
I'm glad Denijia and I have got things back on track. Her dad said I couldn't have the best of both worlds, I just proved him wrong. After I walked Denijia back to her shop, I went to my office to meet up with Quan and Chico .
"Any news on Dj ?" I asked.
"Not much he was last seen in San Francisco...but when we sent the guys out there, there was no trace of him." One of my men said.
