With wings to fly
A leap of faith
And a flutter of my eye

We took of soaring high
the wind in our hair
And a final goodbye

We went our separate ways
Taking in a breath of air
Alas I wouldn't see her for days

Tears ran down
At the thought of despair
I saw the flow of her lilac gown

I'll see her soon
And when the time comes
I'll be waiting by the lagoon
