Ten Years Later
THE O'CONNELL RESIDENCE
Kara and her family moved to Mystic falls and it was almost the beginning of the summer it was actually the first day of May and they were moving beside a family and Kara looked at their own house and she smiled, touched her necklace kissing it.
"Kara, come on help me and your sister's bring the things in." He tells Kara, Kara smiled at him and went up to him and kissed his cheek. "Love you, dad." She told him and he kisses her head.
"Love you, too." He told me as I grabbed a box and walked up to the house, Melanie grabs a few boxes and they put all their things in the house

Hours later they finished unpacking and their dad was cooking, Kara came down the kitchen dipping her finger in the sauce for the spaghetti and she sucked on her finger and her dad slapped her hand. "Don't double dip." He told her and she frowned.
"Meany." Kara told him as she walked to the living room and the doorbell ringed, making Kara look at the door. "I got it." Kara called out as she walked to the door, opening and saw two brunette's and two other men with also brunette hair, they smiled at her as she saw the girl that looked like her age, holding a flat pan of lasagna.
"Hi, I'm Elena and this is my family, we just decide to bring gifts for you guys, because y'all just moved here." She said and Kara smiled and she moved out of the way. "Please, come in." She said nicely and they came in.
"Dad! The neighbors came to visit us." Kara said and her dad came out and he looked at them and smiled. "You two look supper familiar." Kara's dad said and the women looked at him, like she knew him.
"Tony!" She breaths out. "Miranda! Grayson, it's good to see you guys again." Kara's dad said.
"Again?" Kara and Elena say in sync at.
"Yeah, I used to know them a long time ago, they only knew about Sara, you and your sister weren't even born yet." He informed his daughter and she nodded and looks at them.
"Nice to meet you." Kara told them and they smiled at her to. "It's nice to meet you too...."
"Oh, sorry, my name's Kara." Kara told her and they shake her hand, Kara looks at the other teenager. "And you are?" She questions looking at him and he looks at her. "Jeremy." He said and sticks out his hand, she shakes it and then her dad looks up.
"Sara, Melanie, come down please." Dad called out as they heard a thud. "Ow! Melanie." Sara hissed and Melanie chuckles. "Sorry." Melanie apologies to her sister as they walked out and down the stairs, walking towards the guests.
"Sara, Melanie, these are the Gilbert's, they are our neighbors." Dad told them and Sara smiled at them and so does Melanie.
"Hi." They say shaking their hands and dad claps his hands together and looks at the older Gilbert's. "Um, dinner is almost ready, you guys can join if you want." Dad offered and Miranda smiled.
"We would love to." She said and Tony nodded. "Okay, the adults will be at the kitchen and the kids can stay in the living room." He said and Kara scoffed at her father's comment.
"Dad, were not kids, were teenagers." Kara told him and he puts his hands up in defense. "Okay, sorry." He said as they leave and Kara looks at the others two.
"So let's get to know each other." Kara said and they sat on the couches. "Okay, so how old are you guys?" Kara asked Elena and Jeremy.
"Um, I'm seventeen and my brother here, Jeremy is fifteen." Elena told them and Elena looks at us. "How old are you guys?" She asked us.
"Me and Melanie are twins, and we're also seventeen years old and Sara over here is the oldest of the two of us." She told them as Jeremy was looking at a picture and picks it up and speaks up.
"Umm, who's he?" Jeremy asked pointing at the picture of her and Jason together smiling connecting their necklaces together making a heart and Kara touched her necklace around her that she always wore.
"That's, umm, me and our little brother Jason." Kara told him. "Where is he now?" Jeremy asked and Elena slapped his arm. "Quit asking those questions." Elena scolded him as Kara stopped her. "No,no, it's okay, he can ask." Kara told her.
"My mom took him away from us ten years ago and we haven't seen them since and right now he's your age Jeremy." She told him and she sighs.
"Okay, let's move on." Kara breaths out. "Is there anything fun you guys do around her." Kara asked them as Elena looks at her. "There's always some bonfire that will happen a few times maybe we can go together one day." Elena informs them.
Kara nods. "I would love to." Kara told her and Elena smiled looking at Kara with admiration and that she was making a new friend and they were going to be the best of friends.

Hours later and all of them were sitting around the table and were eating together and Grayson looks at his old friend. "So where's, umm, Samantha." He asked making Kara stopped eating and the two sister looked at her worried making Elena noticed the way Kara's whole mood changed. "Umm, she left us, ten years ago, just like nothing." He said and Kara scoffed.
"She left because she cheated on you and had another daughter with some other guy and took our brother away from us." Kara spat and Sara looks at her.
"Calm down, Kara." Sara told her and Kara looked at her, Kara dropped her fork and looked at Sara. "What, I'm just telling the truth." Kara told her older sister and looked at her dad.
"I told you not to put those pictures back up, the ones with her on them. I don't want to see her face around this house." Kara told her dad and Tony shakes his head. "I can't."
"You can do it, you just don't want to." Kara told him, Sara gets up and touches Kara's shoulder and Kara shrugs her off. "Don't touch me, you know I'm right Sara." Kara said looking at her and back to her father.
"I want you to burn those pictures or put them away because I don't want to see them " Kara told her dad and got up.
"Excuse me, dinner was great, but I think I'm just gonna go to my room." She told them and looks at the Gilbert's and smiles nicely. "It was nice meeting you guys." Kara said leaving and Tony looks at them.
"Sorry about that." Tony said to them as he sighs looking at where his daughter was sitting at.

Elena gets up and looks at them. "I can go check on her." Elena told him and Tony smiled. "Yeah, her room has her name on it, and it's the biggest one." Tony told her as Elena walked away and goes up the stairs, walking through the hall, she couldn't believe that this house was bigger than her's and she loved it.
When she walked to the door with Kara's name in it, she heard little sniffles on the other side of the door, as if she was crying and Elena breaths in and out and knocks on the door.
"Who is it?" Kara asked and Elena say.
"It's me, Elena." She said and Kara looked up. "You can come in." Kara told her and Elena opens the door, seeing Kara on her bed as she closes the door and walks up to Kara and sits on her bed, looking at her.
"Are you okay?" Elena asked her and Kara tears up. "No, no, I'm not okay, she ruined my life and she took the most important person of my life and I really miss my brother." Kara cries out and Elena hugs her.
"Shhhh, shhhh, it's okay I got you, I won't leave you ever." Elena told her and Kara hugs back.

Hours later the Gilbert's already left and Kara sighs and wanted to apologise to her dad so she walked out her room, walking downstairs and looked at her dad. "I'm sorry." Kara apologized to her dad and her dad looked at her. "No, it's okay, you were right, I'm going to put her pictures away." Kara's dad said and she went up to him and hugged him.
"I love you, 3000." She told him sweetly and he kisses her head. "I love you 3000, too." He told her and hugs her. "Okay go to bed." Her dad told her and she nodded. "Goodnight Dad." Kara said to him walking away. "Goodnight baby." Kara heard him say.
Kara walked up to her room and closed the door with the Swift of her hand closing it by itself. Yeah, she a witch and she's been using magic since she was nine years old and she loves it when it gives her some type of strength, Kara was sad that her twin sister Melanie didn't have any powers, just the rest of the family had them.
