Vanessa's POV
I woke up to the loud sound coming from my phone and the bright light blinding my eyes.
I hate mornings.
Technically, I used to love waking up so early but I guess now I don't.
Zac came home late because of taping so I slept in my house instead.
I slowly sat on the near end of my bed and checked my phone.
8:30
I opened my email, my messages, my social media accounts and answered my managers calls.
I have 2 photoshoots and another meeting.
Another busy day.
I texted Zac, a good morning, before heading downstairs for breakfast.
Zac's POV
Ever since last night I've been thinking about my proposal for Vanessa.
It has to be special and a day she won't forget.
I've been planning it recently and I've never been this pressured my whole life.
My phone buzzed.
A text from "V❤". It reads.
I opened my phone to respond to her message before I start my day.
I have a movie to film and a photo shoot to go after filming.
I need to find the perfect time and place to propose.
Because of the busy schedule, I can't take a break for at least one day for me to take her to wherever place it might be.
Vanessa's POV
I was getting ready when I heard a knock on the front door.
"It must be Zac," I muttered.
I rushed downstairs to see who it was and to open the door.
Zac.
I opened the door and saw my the love of my life.
Sounds cringey, I know.
"Somebody ordered a special ride for the day?" He said, with a grin on his face.
I smiled.
He's so cute.
"Yup, I guess so," I replied.
A few minutes later, we're on the road going to my photoshoot.
I pecked a kiss on his lips as I got out of the car.
A familiar voice called out from a distance.
"V?!" The voice called.
I turned to where the direction was and I saw the very beautiful Monique Coleman.
I ran to her and gave her a tight hug.
I missed her so much.
Then, we headed inside to get business done.

Zac's POV
It has been 3 days of planning for my proposal and I know that I'm ready.
Today is a rest day for both of us.
And I'm planning on asking her if she's free by tomorrow night.
It's going to be our anniversary tomorrow and I plan on telling her tomorrow at the same time and place.
"V?" I mumbled.
My hands are shaking.
"Yeah." She said.
It's NOW OR NEVER.
I took a deep breath before saying it.
"Are you free tomorrow night?" I asked.
She hesitated for a bit before answering.
"Yeah, why?" She asked.
I felt a slight feeling of relief as I looked deep into her eyes.
"We're going somewhere," I replied.
She smiled.
A playful grin appeared on her face.
"Where?" She asked, with a tone of curiosity in her voice.
I looked at her.
"Secret," I replied.
The whole day went by slow, all we did was watch all 3 of the High School Musical Movies and Charlie St. Cloud.

The day Zac and I would go to a random place, which he called SECRET.
After the day he said that I felt the suspicious feeling in my stomach.
But I'm sure it's going to be alright.
He said he's going to pick me up by 6. So I have almost an hour to get ready.
After an hour, I am done with getting ready.
A few minutes later, I heard a knock on the front door.
I rushed downstairs, trying not to trip on this heels.
I opened the door, to see a handsome Zac standing on the front door.
He looked at me and smiled.
"You look gorgeous, B." He said.
I smiled and leaned in for a kiss.
After that, we both hopped into the car and drove to the so-called "secret place".
Zac's POV
After a few minutes, we arrived at the place where we got back together.
The garden.
She was surprised at first but she then she smiled.
I led her to the garden, then we ate and talk for a while before the real purpose of the date.
We gaze at the sky, now dark and filled with bright stars.
I looked at her and I knew this is the right time.

I pulled her in for a passionate, soft and loving kiss.
" V, for more than 8 years, I felt lost and I blamed myself for losing you, and I know that I should've let you go. But, when I found you, and we got back together again, I knew this time, I would never lose you like that again. When you got into an accident, those were the worst days of my life, waiting for you to wake up. You are the light to the darkest days of my life. And a few days ago, I realized that I can never live a life without you by my side. I love you, Vanessa Anne Hudgens. And..." I said
I kneeled down and took the ring box containing the ring I bought on the jewelry store yesterday. It was just beautiful and know it fits her.
"Will you marry me?" I asked, hoping she would say yes.
Vanessa's POV
"Will you marry me?" He asked.
It's like the world blocked out and all I saw was him, hoping for my answer.
Tears started to form on my eyes and my heart leaped out of my chest.
For once in my life, I felt so happy.
I was speechless, to be honest.
"Yes!" I said.
He placed the ring on my small finger.
Happy tears fell down my cheeks.
He pulled me into a kiss, a strong, passionate one.
We pulled away out of breath.
I can't believe it, I'm getting married to the man I loved my whole life.
This is the happiest days of my life.
