Here I Sit

My walls are up

Brick by Brick

Heartbreak by Heartbreak

Tear after Tear

My walls get higher

Everytime I go outside my walls

I'm betrayed

I'm hurt

I'm not enough

Inside my walls

I am enough

Inside my walls

No one can hurt me

Inside my walls

No one will betray me

People want me to come out

They want me to be who I am

They want me to let them in

The thing is...

I don't remember who I was before the world told me who I should be.

Here I sit

Here I will remain

Until someone climbs my walls,

Takes this journey,

And reminds me who I was.
