"Tommy!" I shouted as soon as I saw him at the airport. I ran from where I was to him, and wrapped my arms around him in a hug. He had my suitcase for me already, and he let go of the handle to return the hug. "I've missed you."
"I've missed you too Maddie. How are you holding up?"
"I'm great! I've never felt so free and excited!" I almost yell, but notice how loud I am and refrain myself.
"Why do you feel so excited?" he adds laughing, picking up my suitcase again.
"Because I've never done anything like this before! The only people who know I'm here are you, Hayley, and Brendon. How is this not exciting?"
"Calm down love, you're attracting attention."
"Sorry Tomm-wait, did you just call me love?" I say, stopping walking mid-sentence.
"Shit, I guess I did. I'm sorry Maddie, it just kinda slipped out."
"It's fine Tom. L-let's just go to your place," I manage to get out. He nods shyly and I follow him out to his car.
"Are you hungry at all?" he asks me as he puts my suitcase in the trunk of the car.
"No, just tired."
"Alright. I'll take you back to my flat and you can sleep."
