Third Person's Pov
Zach's eyes shot open as soon as Jack said those words.
He had a bad feeling about this.
"What?"He asked.
Jack sat up straight, his smirk still plastered on his face.
Zach knew Jack's idea won't be good, so he prepared himself.
"Well,you"Jack pointed at Zach,"will pretend to be my boyfriend and help me convince my dad that we love each other."
Jack said and simply leaned back on his chair.
Zach prepared himself for the worse but not this kind of worse.
He couldn't believe what he just heard.
Is Jack being serious? Is this all a joke? Are there cameras hiding in this cafe and will jump out any second now to tell him he's being pranked?
This caught him off guard, there's no way in hell this is gonna work.
"Are you being serious right now?" Zach said letting out a little laugh while shaking his head.
"Yep." Answered Jack popping out the 'p'.
It's pretty clear in Zach's face that he is confused when Jack looked at him.
So he sighed and explained everything to Zach.
"Well, the truth is, my dad's term in our company is ending,and he is passing his seat to me, but the team is not agreeing the thought of me being the head of our company without a partner so they decided to arrange me a marriage with Mr. Seavey's son-"
"Wait! Seavey?! As in Daniel Seavey?!" Zach cuts Jack off.
"Yes, and pay attention I'm not done yet. So obviously I said no because who the heck would like to marry someone you don't even know? If you're in my shoe you'd probably understand me." Jack said finishing the story.
Jack can see in Zach's face that he's really contemplating whether or not he should help him.
Is this really worth it? Zach thought.
Oh well.
After a few minutes Zach finally gathered his thoughts.
"Fine, I'll help you."
Jack smiled widely and sighed in relief.
"But! No kissing and sex, okay?" Zach pointed at Jack sternly.
Jack rolled his eyes,"C'mon! How can we convince them that we're really together if we can't kiss?"
Zach bit his lip,trying to find a way, but he found none.
He sighed,"Okay fine but only a peck though."
"Oh c'mon,Herron. I know you want to kiss me." Jack teased and smirked.
Zach felt him blush so he just bowed his head and simply drinks his coffee so Jack won't see him blushing.
"You wish, Avery."
But little did he know.
