The right to stand up for your beliefs,
To sing a song with hand on heart
As our flag flows in the breeze
Nothing that exists comes without a cost,
But do not mourn to long for what has lost
Because they simply did what they knew they had to do,
Only thinking of a better future for me and you
Pray for those who stood strong
When all seemed to be going wrong
For those who don’t lose their way
Even in the darkness of the words others say
Remember that today is the tomorrow that they strived to see
