The day of Jahseh's trip.
Jayla POV:
After the trial i moved back to my house with Jah. Jah has been home for only a day now and he was really depressed and angry all the time. I could tell he was trying to hide it when i came around. But he was hurting i was trying to do everything in my power for him to be happy again. Jah was really hurt by Geneva and what she did. The only thing i thought of that could make him happy was a vacation. He needed to get away for a while. I knew he just got home but i wanted my brother back. So the day before his trip i packed his stuff he was going to pack for his trip.
I convinced him to go on his school trip. So this morning we woke up to take him to the bus stop so the bus could take him.
I was alone again but at least my brother was happy or at least making a effort to be.
I was sitting on the couch watching the last episode of 'On My Block' when my phone lights up. its text from stokeley..

We started watching this really scary movie.. *aahh* i scream and hold on to stoke as tight as possible. I look up noticing what i was doing. He smiles without making eye contact.
"No.. no.. dont go over there.. dont- dont- *Aaaahhhh* i scream and hold on to him even tighter.
"Chill Ma, i gottchu..😏" he says holding me in his arms. I felt so protected. While im starring at him i hear loud moaning ..
I look up and see its coming from the tv..
I quickly look at stokeley.. he looks at me.. i didnt want to make eye contact during this part. So i looked down waiting for it to turn off but it just kept going.
I look up at stokeley and he is more figity then he was 2 minutes ago.. he starts to skip over the part. I kept wondering what made him do it now. Why not when it first came on.
"Why u wait this long to skip it?" I asked getting up from off him. "Umm.. i was waiting for you to but you never did.." he said putting cover over his lap as if he was hiding something.
He kept playing with the covers on his lap.
"Welp.. im gonna take a shower" i say breaking the awkward silence.
Since it was really hot i put on nothing but a sports bra and some matching panties under some lose short, shorts

I walk down stairs and see stokeley on his phone. As i got closer to downstairs i see stoke changed into some sweat pants.. I'm guessing he found from the clothes he's always leaving over here in jahs room.

I go downstairs and lay back. On him and he puts his arm around me. I was trying to find something to watch.

"Ight. We will watch the first thing on my trending list." I say scrolling on netflix to trending.. i look at the first movie and it says *friends with benefits* for some reason i got scared. I tried to go past it without stokeley noticing. "Wa-wait.. wait wait .. . Wait, you said the first movie gone head' and click on it.." he said grabbinv the remote from me and clicking the movie.
It was 30 minutes into movie and they were already getting freaky.😧

I got you something but never knew when the right time was to give it to you. He pulls of the neckless box and opens it. It was a gold neckless that said
