"Zola come quickly!" I hear the frantic yells of the baker's wife,"coming miss!" I call after her, dropping the bucket of water and rushing to her aid.
I rush inside the small hut-like building,and see the plump woman on the wooden ladder, on the bring of falling off. I quickly lunge my body forward,gripping the wooden pegs so it would stop wiggling.
"Oh thank heavens~" she sighs,"thank you my dear, I surely would've fallen to my death if it weren't for your wit~"
She carefully climbs down the withering, giving me a good pat on the shoulder. "Come with me dearly" she says,making her way to the entrance of the bakery.
"Where are we going auntie?" I question, following her down the main dirt road.
"To the Banker" she answers," I have to pay off yesterday's debt".
"I see..." I mumble with a nod.
I never really liked the banker,he was known throughout the town as the local....womanizer I think?
Anyway,he always creeps me out,and auntie makes sure to keep me a good distance away from him at all times.
"You know the rules" she implies,"don't talk to that filthy man,lord knows what goes through his mind when a pretty young thing catches his eye".
"Of course" I tell her,and the two of us make our way inside the building. There he was, sitting at his usual desk,writing on papers in black ink.
"Good evening Mr.Marbles~" auntie forced herself to speak in her sweet voice, causing the man to quickly piers his head to the noise.
"Evening Bertha~" he greets back,his dark eyes finding their way to mine,"Zola~" he coos with a grotesque chuckle.
I quickly move my gaze to the floor,giving a nod to the aging man. He was on the chubby side,his patchy long hair always greased and moist from the constant sweating.
"What brings you here?" He questions,"need to pay off yesterday's debt" auntie answers,taking a seat in front of the man,giving him a stern assertive gaze.
She noticed his constant staring at me,"Zola why don't you go outside and explore the town" she says,not taking her eyes off the man," I need you to get me some more flour for the bakery".
I nod,walking up to her and gently taking the golden coins from her hands. Once the money was in my pocket,I exited the building, letting out a relieved sigh the moment I shut the door.
"That was horrendous~" I sigh,making my way down the dirt road and towards the ingredients shop.
~Commodus's POV~
"How long shall the trip back to the palace be?" I ask the driver of the carriage.
"About ten minutes your majesty" he answers in a respectful manner,"very well~" I sigh,
" but make it quick".
I hear the sharp whip of the reins,and feel the speed of the carriage increase. I open the fold of the curtain,watching the passing trees while feeling the gently wind on my face.
"For what shall the earth bring to my royal eyes this blessed day~" I coo,watching as the trees flow by me like massive green blurs.
As I gaze outside,I could hear the marching of my guards behind me,their armored suits causing metal to clash with metal.
I notice the familiar sign of the local village that reside just a couple roads from my palace, and I quickly order the carriage driver to slow down so that the local children could follow the carriage.
I smile and wave to them,greeting them with friendly smiles of the great Caesar.
Passing by the village is my favorite of all my travels, ever since I murdered my father I missed the love a child gives to those they care about.
A foolish man he was

I gaze upon the local houses,when suddenly my eye catches a girl walking alongside the main road.
Her long hair was a light brown, with lips so soft you could see from a mile away. Her eyes were so innocent, her brown irises gleaming and full of life.
She was beautiful....
I-I have never seen anything more perfect in all my years...
"Stop the carriage!" I command,and it ultimately comes to a stop. I call over a guard,urging him to come here quickly.
I bring his ear close to my lips
"Bring me that girl~" I whisper,to him, nudging my head to the girl. She was now staring at me with a look of shock,for of course I am in fact the great emperor.
~Zola's POV~
It's the great emperor Commodus
He is here in the village.
I stare into his icy blue eyes,shocked and frozen in place.He calls over a guard,whispering into his ear all the while staring into the core of my soul with those bright eyes. He nudges his head towards me, and the guard turns to glare at me as well, then gives a nod to the great caesar.
As the guard made his way towards me, I had the sudden urge to run,so I did.
I ran down the road,using all of my strength to pick up speed.
"STOP HER!" I hear the furious yell of Commodus, which caused my heart to quicken in pace.
"GIRL,STOP IN ORDER OF THE EMPEROR!"
I hear one of the guards command me, but I refuse to stop. As I raced down the road, I felt a tight grip on the back of my shirt.
I quickly grab the guard's armored arm,and twist his arm,pinning him down to the ground while snapping his bone out of place.
He screams in agony,letting out whines of utter misery as the pain surges through his body.
Oh my god
"I'm so sorry!" I yell,quickly grabbing his arm and snapping it back into place,which causes him to scream louder.
~Commodus's POV~
The girl has incredible strength!
How did she learn to do that!?!
"RESTRAIN HER THIS INSTANT!" I command the guards, there's six in total, she is outnumbered. She quickly lifts up her skirt,and takes out a sharp blade from her boot.
How...?
She takes a fighting stance,raising her dagger and pointing it to my guards. I quickly jump out of my carriage,cautiously sneaking up behind her.
When the timing was right,I grabbed her arm and twisted it behind her back,causing her to drop the dagger and wince in pain.
I pull her back close to my chest,leaning close to her ear.
"You are perfect~" I whisper in her ear.
I pressure point her neck,causing her to go limp on my arms. I carry her unconscious body into the carriage,and command the carriage driver to continue its way to the palace.
I swipe a strand of her long hair from her pretty little face
"You are mine now~ " I whisper
