Rinmarus P.O.V.
Naruto had told me of his training with Yamato and Kakashi, he also told me about meeting Sasuke.
his team had gotten information on orochimaru's location from one narutos new teammate, who was going to betray them and such. it was a long rant but I was going to meet up with Naruto since he had told me he had a mission near the fire temple.
I told him I would just track him down after I finished my mission. but when I was finally able to locate him he was in this maze I suppose, and I was sure the rest of his team was.
unsure if I should get involved or not I sat by a tree waiting for a sign of distress from inside.
I could see signs of fighting but nothing that seemed major, they never lasted long, I was worried now though.
'tch It could mean the people under attack are getting away or killed...' I thought nervously
I sighed and chose to leave, letting Naruto be an adult and handle this himself.
it was most likely time I stopped babying him so much.
I left and got back to base only for leader to stop me
"where have you been!" he demands
"I was at the fire temple..." I answer truthfully
he sighs and nods and leaves
going to my room I see Itachi on the bed sleeping, drool coming out of his mouth.
I smile softly at him and gather new clothes for after my shower.
while showering konan came in and told me leader wanted me right away.
I quickly got ready and left to see him
"you called for me?" I ask while giving him a bow
"yes I did... now I want you to answer me honestly" pein tells me with a scary glare
"yes leader-sama" I answer feeling nervous
"are you still connected with the leaf?" he asks with his glare sharping
I remain calm and try to think of something to say
"I am unsure what you mean?" I tell him
he stands and slams his hand onto the desk
"ANSWER ME NOW!!!!" he shouts
i watch konan and pein carefully
"yes i am..." i answer
"and who are you connected to?" he asks me
"my brother and a few friends...:" i answer
"not the hokage? or other authorities?" he asks
"no leader-sama" i answer getting worried
he sits back down and stares at me
"what do your friends and brother think of you?" he asks
"they hated me at first leader-sama. but my brother was on a mission and i was too. to kill someone from the land of waves about 3 years ago... so when i had just recently betrayed the leaf. my brother was in danger and i saved him, so he forgave me and so did his teammates. they still see me as a friend and sister" i tell him
he glares at me "konan" he says and she begins attacking me
i dodge each attack, kicking down the door and racing out of the hide out, i take off my ring and cloak flinging them to the ground.
'covers been blown' i think as i throw kunai back towards konan
i see the rest of the Akatsuki as well as itachi coming out
"Capture her alive!" konan orders
they don't ask but immediately begin attacking as well
knowing i have to chance i race away, trying to think of a place to escape to where i could hide.
i can feel each chakra as they follow me.
i see itachis crow and hear it crow. knowing itachi is trying to lead me somewhere safe i follow the bird.
running as fast as i could, my life depended on it
panting i see a cave i go in and go down the halls, unsure what this place was i knew it was safe here or at least until they caught up.
as im running i feel a chakra again, but this time very close behind me
i speed up going faster.
i reach a dead end, panicked i turn around about to race back into the halls but i stop when i see a figure standing in the way of the only exit
"you idiot..." itachi says
i sigh out of relief and let myself relax
"i know..." i answer still panting
"i told you to distance yourself from everyone back at the leaf! if you had you would've been fine!" he tells me annoyed
"im sorry but i i just couldn't" i tell him
he sighs "stay here for a day or two, its an old Uchiha hideout. no one but me and you know of it" he tells me
"hai thank you itachi" i say
"i have to go now, make sure you find a safe place to hide in, i don't think this place will hold for a good hiding place for very long" he tells me
i nod and kiss him softly
he kisses back, and hugs me before leaving quickly
i wonder around the hideout and set traps just in case, i memorized the layout and made camp at the safest location inside.
'the sand wouldn't welcome me after what Akatsuki did, i couldn't go to the land of earth, or land of wind, cant go to land of rivers, land of assassins was to risky and the land of water was a place i could go but wasn't wise, if the Akatsuki found me there i wouldn't be able to escape easily. the only places i could go was somewhere in the land of fire, land of waves and land of lighting... land of whirlpools i could most likely go to as well.' i thought
annoyed i sighed and sat down leaning against the wall. slowly falling asleep.
i woke with a start, one of my traps near one of the entrances.
unsure of who it was i started to make my way to an exit.
"AHHHH" i heard a girls angered scream]
"SASUKE WHYD WE HAVE TO COME HERE!" the girls voice screams
"shut up" i heard gruffly "someone might be here"
i stop running and make my way calmly towards the voices
"what a surprise to see you here Sasuke" i say surprising the girl
"who are you!" the girl asks rudely
"tch shut up, the only reason you're here is because orochimaru wanted me to fetch you for him"sasuke tells the girl.
"hello one-chan" he says to me
"i thought i wasn't your sister?" i ask
"that was before i understood why you betrayed the village, its weak" he tells me
"are you going to give me hug then?" i tease
sasuke walks towards me but stops, he cuts a thin string and a few kunai fling infront of him, planting themselves in the wall
he gets infront of me and stares at me before hugging me, it had been so long since we had seen each other
i hugged him closely "one-san come with me please, join orochimaru and I" he asks
"im sorry sasuke i cant, i need to protect myself" i tell him
"from who?" he asks
"the Akatsuki" i tell him
he sighs and nods "very well, good bye one-san i need to get back. i was just stopping by to see if the Uchiha scrolls were correct" he tells me
"ill see ya soon kid" i tell him
he and that annoying girl walks back out of the hideout
going back in to the room im staying, i think of my plan of what im going to do
'i could go back to the leaf i suppose but if i did they would follow...maybe i should've gone with Sasuke. but i just don't trust that snake"
