I'm in deep shit now.
Suddenly Katsuki runs over to me and grabs my arm dragging me up the stairs to his room. I've been in his room before but everytime I see it Im surprised. Unlike his personality his room is very clean and organized, he has a TV and a game console, and his bookshelf is full of comic books, textbooks, and one lone All might figurine. He let's go of my arm and sits down at his desk and pinches the bridge of his nose
"What the actual fuck were you thinking?!"
"It's none of your concern Katsuki." I said, I was kind of hoping he wouldn't ask any questions but the odds were clearly not in my favor
"None of my concern?! My best friend is taking on crazy kidnapping cases! You're not Batman Jinko! You have people who worry about you!"
I'm touched. He thinks of me as his best friend.
"Katsuki solving cases like this is why I became a hero! I can't wait 3 years just to get a license so I can save people! These problems are happening now!" I yelled, he seemed a little taken aback because I almost never raise my voice (The only exception is when we play Mario Cart, that shit gets pretty wild)
He let out a deep sigh as he flopped onto his bed.
"At least tell me if you need someone to come and save your ass. Since I'm probably the only one who fucking knows about you becoming a fucking criminal!"
"Hey! I'm not a criminal!"
"Sure you aren't pipsqueak"
We eventually went back downstairs to join his parents in the living room. I had to leave soon after because it was getting pretty late
" Thank you so much for coming, Jinko! You are welcome anytime, it's about time this brat finally made some friends!" Mitsuki said as Katsuki and I were about to leave, he knew that I could walk myself home but his mom still made him.
" It was my pleasure Mitsuki, I'll definitely be back" I said as we begun the short walk to my house
Time Skippy
Summer break ended not long after. Now it's time for the new school year.
"Jinko, do you have everything you need?"
"Yep! I've got everything!" I said while faking my excitement, I was beyond terrified. New school means new people, and new people means I have to talk to more people, which means awkward stuttering, not to mention that U.A. is the most famous hero school in Japan and they get a lot of attention which means the students will get a lot of spotlight!
CALM THE FUCK DOWN!!! JUST BREATHE FUCKING BREATHE!
I walked out the door on the verge of a panic attack
I made it to U.A. faster than I would've liked. Once I made into the school I looked around for my class.
Where the fuck is Class 1A? Oh there it is!
I opened the giant doors to an almost empty class room. Inside there was a small group of people and that guy with the stick up his ass sitting alone. I chose a random seat and put my stuff there, somehow no one seemed to notice me walk in
Finally, some luck
Not even a minute after I sat down Katsuki bargef through the door attracting a lot of our attention from our classmates

Katsuki saw me and and walked over, he set his stuff down and sat in the seat next to mine.
"Why are you so fucking early?" He asked as he put his feet up on the desk
" I'm pretty sure if I stayed at home any longer I would have been too nervous to leave, also walking in with you would attract a lot of attention"
He let out a tch as he stared off through the window. I let out a relived sigh as we fell into silence. That is until Mr. Stick up his ass walked over to Katsuki
"It would be much appreciated if you could take your feet off of the desk. Our upperclassmen used these desks and it is disgraceful to put your feet on their legacy" He said while making some weird hand motions
I tuned out Katsuki's reply because I knew it would be loud and obnoxious. I started to observe the classroom, it only had twenty desks, which wasn't a lot compared to the size of a normal highschool class.
I guess people weren't kidding when they said not a lot of people made it into U.A.
I saw someone walk into the room in the corner of my eye, I looked over and saw a familiar face
Izuku!
He seemed too distracted by Katsuki and the other guy fighting to notice me. Suddenly both Katsuki and the guy who I just figured out was Iida looked over to Izuku. Iida walked over to him and started saying something about the exam and hidden components, then a happy brown haired girl who's eyes were kind of like a minion's showed up and was talking to Izuku.
Why are these people so energetic? They are simply too much for me
I looked over to Katsuki who seemed pretty angry to see Izuku here. At least he wasn't as angry as he was when he first found out that Izuku had made it in
McFlashback
"I can't believe we have three students from our school getting into U.A! Especially you Midoriya, it's a miracle!" Our teacher said, not gonna lie I was pretty surprised that we all made it too
After the meeting ended all three of us walked out, but I had to go back inside because I had forgotten something. When I came back out I started looking for Izuku and Katsuki so I could say goodbye before going home
"What dirty trick did you use to get in, huh?! I told you to go somewhere else!" I heard Katsuki yell from somewhere nearby, I turned the corner to see Katsuki with Midoriya pushed up against the wall
I was about to step in but something kept me from doing so
Izuku needs to learn how to stick up for himself on his own, I won't always be there to save him from Katsuki
I saw Izuku grab Katsuki's arm
"Kacchan... Someone told me 'You can become a hero' that it was because of my own effort. T-That's why.... I'm going !"

Whoosh Current Time
The minion girl continued to ramble on and embarrass Izuku when he heard a new voice from below
"If you came here to make friends then I suggest you leave" said the scruffy man in the yellow caterpillar costume
"I took 8 seconds before you all were quiet. Time is limited. You kids are not rational enough."
Hold up, OUR SENSEI IS A CATERPILLAR?! WHAT THE FUCK?!
"Dumbass he's not really a caterpillar" Katsuki whispered when he saw the shock on my face
"I thought mind reading was supposed to be my ability Katsuki"
"It's not my fucking fault you're so easy to read pipsqueak" He said with a smirk
First off fuck you Katsuki. I am not easy to read. It's not my fault that Caterpillar Sensei surprised me!
"I'm your homeroom teacher, Shota Aizawa. Nice to meet you." He said while looking completely dead on the inside.
I like his attitude, but I feel like I've seen him before
"It's kind of sudden but put these on and head out to the field." He said while holding a U.A. Gym Uniform
Shit. Fuck. Damnit! No no no! That's a gym uniform! I fucking hate gym! Why gym?! Why couldn't we have orientation on the first day?!
We all shuffled out to the locker rooms to put our new uniforms on then after a fair amount of time ( of me mostly hiding in a corner trying not to draw attention to myself while changing) we all went out into the field
Finally the worst of it is over.
The worst was infact over, that is until he informed us we were going to a quirk assessment test
I'm so fucking screwed.
"A QUIRK ASSESSMENT TEST?!" Our class shouted in unison.
"But what about orientation?!" The brown haired minion girl asked
"If you are going to become a hero' you don't have time for such leisurely events. U.A.'s selling point is how unrestrictive it's traditions are. That's how the teachers run their classes. "
"You kids have been doing these since Junior High too right?"
Doing what? I don't like the sound of this!
"Physical fitness tests where you weren't allowed to use you your quick"
Oh yeah! I fucking hated those
I used to always have to perform worse than I can actually do because I didn't want people coming up to me trying to recruit me for teams and stuff, since ya know I'm kind of like a vigilante so I'm pretty physically fit, even without my quirk.
"The country still takes averages coming from students not using their quirks. It's not rational. Well the ministry of education is procrastinating."
It's for people like me who can't do much physical stuff with their quirk!
"Bakugo you placed first in the Entrance Exam right? What was your farthest softball throw?"
"67 meters"
"Try doing it with your quirk, you can do whatever you want as long as you stay in the circle. Hurry up, give it all you've got."
Katsuki took the ball and took a few steps back before throwing the ball with explosive power behind it
"DIE!!!"
Why is he so sadistic? It's kind of unsettling
I stared at the shock on my classmates faces, they looked dumbfounded. Then Caterpillar Sensei held up the device and it showed 705.2 meters
Holy shit! That's a lot!
All of the other student's expressions quickly changed to excitement and they starting yelling out things about how they could use their quirks all they want
"It looks fun? Whoever comes in last place in all 8 tests will be judged to have no potential and will be punished with expulsion"
Shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit IM GONNA GO HOME BEFORE MY CAREER EVEN STARTS!
I almost started crying right then and there, but I didn't because that'd be pretty uncool on my first day.
"Welcome to U.A.'s hero course!" Aizawa Sensei said with a creepy smile
The students protested but I drowned it all out. I couldn't hear anything over the sound of my own internal crisis. I needed to do something to get myself through
Test 1: 50 meter dash
That Iida guy was pretty fast, I'm sure I won't be able to get 3 seconds like him but I'm pretty sure I don't even need my quirk for this one
"Ready. Set. Go!"
I started sprinting as fast as I could, which is actually really fast. You tend to get good at running when you spend a lot of your life running from criminals (sometimes police too).
"5.63 seconds"
I'm off to a good start
Test 2: Grip Strength
Before it was my turn I had an idea that could possibly get me through the test, but only if it worked
I took the grip machine thing (I don't know what the fuck it is) and I tried my hardest to grip it.
The score wasn't very good, it was only 40. Which might be good by normal standards but not in a quirk test.
Area Illusion
I created an illusion that everyone could see but it only changed a small area, the numbers on the machine. Now to other people instead of seeing 40 they'll see 80

Test 3: Standing Long Jump
People saw me clear the jumping area even though I fell on my butt in the middle
Test 4: Repeated Side Step
I didn't need my quirk for this one. I'm pretty quick. Although that little purple guy was super fast
Test 5: Ball Throw
It was my turn on the Ball throw then Izuku was after me. He hasn't been doing very well on any of the tests and I wish I could help him but I've gotta look out for number one right now, because I sure as hell am not going home.
I took the ball and walked out to the circle. I wasn't sure how I was going to get away with cheating this one because I would have to change several different things at once
Area Illusion
I casted an Illusion as I threw the ball as far as I could, which might I add isn't very far. I've never been very good at throwing. When I threw the ball my classmates saw it soar through the air almost like it was flying all on it's own.
I casted a quick glance at Katsuki who looked beyond shocked. I sent him a quick wink to let him know it wasn't real, but nobody else knew that, because nobody else knew what my quirk was. Actually Izuku does but I think he already figured out what I'm doing.
"600 meters?! Woah!"
Aizawa Sensei looked skeptical
Shit is he onto me?
Next thing I know his eyes are glowing and his hair is standing on end and I realized why he looked so familiar
HOW THE HELL DID I NOT RECOGNIZE MY FAVORITE HERO AS MY HOMEROOM TEACHER?!
"Actually it was only 32 meters, what you all saw wasn't real" He said showing the class the device with a different number on it, then they saw the ball on the ground not far away.
He erased my fucking quirk. That asshole just made me look so uncool
The class was really confused, a few people looked like they were starting to understand but not many. I stared at the ground as I went and stood next to Katsuki who was standing next to Iida
"It doesn't look good for Midoriya if he continues like this" Iida said
" Huh, Of course not! He's a Quirkless small fry!" Katsuki shouted at Iida
"Quirkless?! Did you not hear about what he did at the entrance exam?!"
Entrance exams? What Happened there?
I was confused, I wasn't with Izuku during the entrance exam so whatever spontaneous move he pulled I don't know about it.
I looked back at Izuku who was now in the circle, he was staring at the ball like it was the difference between life or death. Then he threw it
Why is his arm glowing red?
"46 meters"
Poor Izuku, I think you might be the one going home.
"I erased your quirk" Aizawa Sensei said
But how do you erase something that isn't there?
"The entrance exam was not rational enough. Even a kid like you was accepted. From what I can tell you can't control your quirk, do you intend to become incapacitated again so someone else can save you? Izuku Midoriya with your power you can't become a hero"
I feel like I missing something here
I turned to Katsuki who was right next to me, he had an even more confused ( and slightly angry) look on his face.
"I've returned your quirk, hurry up and get it over with"
I'm still hella confused
Izuku took the ball and looked like he was preparing himself to throw it. Then with a determined look on his face he threw the ball, but it wasn't what I had expected,
What the fuck?! Whatthefuckwhatthefuckwhatthefuckwhat the frick frack sniggily snack just happened?! That wasn't supposed to happen! Izuku is quirkless! He told me he was quirkless! Since when could he do that?!
I stood there, mouth open, eyes wide, I hadn't expected this at all. Our teacher held up the device which showed 705.3 meters
He...beat... Katsuki?
The people around me started cheering and complimenting Izuku, but I couldn't find it in me to cheer. I couldn't find it in me to be happy for him right now, I wasn't angry at him either, I guess I'm just dissapointed that he lied to me
But did he really lie? Would Izuku do something like that? What if it was some kind of freak event where he suddenly got a quirk! No, that's impossible, just face it he didn't trust me enough to tell me, but why?
"HEY! WHAT'S THE MEANING OF THIS?! TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON, DEKU, YOU BASTARD!"
Katsuki exploded beside me
Figures he wouldn't take it well, I bet he feels like his whole world just turned upside down
He started charging at Izuku with pure rage, until Aizawa restrained him with his scarf
I want a scarf like that, that's super fucking cool
"What the- these cloths are hard"
"They're made of carbon fiber, they're used to capture villains woven with tiny metals. Jeez, stop making me have to use my quirk."
Too bad! That's amazing!
Test 6: Sit ups
Maybe Izuku had a reason for hiding his quirk?
Test 7: Seated toe touch
I should put my trust in him, he is one of my best friends after all
Test 8: long distance run
Best friends trust each other, so why couldn't he trust me?
I didn't use my quirk for the last 3 tests after being found out, I didn't really need it though. It would have been difficult to use my quirk anyway because of all of the thoughts that kept clouding my head during the last tests.
"Okay, I'll quickly tell you the results. The total is simply marks you got from each test, it's a waste of time to explain it verbally so I'll just show you, the person who got last will be expelled." Aizawa said as he displayed the results of a screen
11th? I did better than I thought I would for barely using my quirk, I even got last in the ball throw and still did well (A/N the person who originally got 11th was Koda and in this story I replaced Koda with Jinko, I love Koda but it was the easiest)
I looked at the other people on the chart and I noticed that Katsuki had gotten 3rd while Izuku had gotten last
Shit, is he gonna be sent home? I don't want Izuku to be voted off the island yet! I still have questions!

"WHAT?!"
