James POV
I woke up with an uncomfortable paper gown on me. I looked around and was so confused. A nurse came in the room with a glass of water and a cookie. My attention of course went directly to the cookie and my mouth began to drul.
" Yea I wouldn't be surprise that your hungry since you haven't eaten anything since you got here." The nurse joked around. But I just chocked on my cookie.
" How long have i-" I just paused realizing she left. I looked to my left realizing all the stuff animals and cards I had. I heard people screaming my names and singing my songs. I wanted to get up and see but I felt a sharp pain. I just sat there still confused and with questions pondering though my head. I heard a knock on a door and my head turned and I smiled ear to ear. Nicole just stood there whiter then a ghost. She looked awful. She had bags under her eyes and her noes was bright red and she looked like she haven't ate in weeks. She ran up to my bedside and wrapped her arms around me.
" I love you James, I love you so so much. I don't know how to explain it or how to show you but I want you to know that your one of a kind. Not only are you a dick but that's why I love you. Cause you put me in my place and you make me look like a loser and I don't know what to do with out you." She confessed.
" I love you too, but what happened ?" I questioned she pulled away and looked at me like I was a nut case.
" You dont know what happened " she asked
" No" I replied.
" You where in a car crash and was in a coma for 3 weeks." She informed. I just went speechless. I wanted to get up and wrap her up in my hug but I couldn't. She stood there lifeless.
" I thought you were dead" she mumbled faintly as tears started to roll down her face.
" I thought you where gonna die thinking that I hate you, when in reality your the best thing that ever happened to me" she told me. I motioned her to come towards me. She climbed on the plain white hospital bed. And lie down,she rested her head on my chest and listened to my heart beat.
" Marry me" I blurted out. She picked her head and looked at me.
" What? " she asked
" Marry me" I repeated.
" Your funny James " she giggled and rested her head on me again.
" Nicole I'm serious, I want to marry you " I told her. She looked at me again with a grin on her face.
" Look, James I love you but I don't wanna be proposed to on an uncomfortable hospital bed looking like a pile of crap with no ring. Imma say yes for now but you better get me that ring to make up for lack of creativity. " she sassed making us both laugh. We both just lied on the bed cuddling in comfortable silence.
" Is that a yes?" I Whispered in her ear.
" Yes" she replied.
