Yoongi chuckled, grabbing some onions and garlic from the vegetable section before sending him his address.
He felt weird about not having told Jimin about going to the same college yet, but he wasn't sure whether he was ready to. Jimin was nice around him and treated him fairly, but Yoongi didn't trust the fact that he still would in front of everyone else.
Most people changed their behavior once they were with someone else. Yoongi didn't judge. He just wasn't too fond of that thought, either. Would Jimin actually be willing to be seen with him? A gay guy.
Once he got home, he started cooking. Jimin had announced he'd come by in about an hour, which meant he still had a lot of time left to prepare some bulgogi. Jimin was probably used to a lot higher quality food, but then again... they had eaten pizza when they first met, so maybe that wasn't a problem.

When Jimin looked up from his phone, he spotted Yoongi leaning in the entryway of one of the apartments. The moment he and Jimin made eye contact, the corners of Yoongi's mouth curled upwards in a smirk. "I am honestly confused as to how you managed to take five minutes to get up here, but I'm glad you managed to end the quest of finding my apartment."
"In my defense... I don't even know what to say. I'm just dumb, I think." Jimin laughed before walking up to Yoongi and hugging him. When he opened his eyes and saw the apartment in front of him, he quickly let go and walked past Yoongi. "You have to show me around. You never sent those pictures I asked you for. I just know what your room looks like."
Yoongi was about to grab his arm when Jimin tripped over a certain box, swearing just as Yoongi had a couple of hours earlier. "What the hell? Why is that placed here?"
Yoongi chuckled, putting his hand on Jimin's shoulder. "In order to stop nosy people from roaming around my apartment. You're supposed to ask for permission for that kind of stuff. What if I have some sex toys lying around?"
"Even more interesting. And come on, do I really need permission?" Jimin pouted. "After all, I'm your bestest friend, aren't I?"
"Just because you are doesn't mean you can just waltz in here and do your thing. At least get out of those shoes."
Smiling sheepishly, Jimin slipped out of his shoes. "Sorry. Where do I put them?"
Instead of answering, Yoongi simply took them and placed them next to the door. "Here. And now, shush, go adventure or whatever. I have to make the rice, so I'll be in the kitchen. Don't trash this place, alright?"
Yoongi begged and Jimin nodded enthusiastically before moving towards Yoongi's bedroom. It was hard to believe that he was the same guy Yoongi saw at school every day. His whole demeanor was so different.
Deciding not to ponder on it any longer, he started preparing the remaining part of their dinner by adding water and rice to the rice cooker... A lot of work.
"What is this thing?" Jimin asked, reentering the room, holding a piece of fabric in his hand.
Yoongi glanced at him and then at the thing. "That's..." He grabbed it, also taking a hold of Jimin's hand and wrapping each of the ends around one of his index fingers. "... a Chinese finger trap."
An amused smile made its way to Yoongi's face. "Now try to get out."
Jimin nodded hesitatingly, trying to pull his finger out of it. Then he pulled harder. And harder. Frustration was clearly visible on his face. He relaxed for a second before making a jerky movement, but the fabric was tightly wrapped around his fingers.
Yoongi couldn't hold back an amused chuckle and Jimin looked at him with betrayal in his eyes. His lips formed an accusing frown. "I don't like this."
Not being able to hold it back, Yoongi put his hand in front of his face before chuckling again, his eyes crinkling up in amusement. After another couple of seconds of Jimin being playfully upset, Yoongi took Jimin's hands in his and made him relax, and instead of trying to move out, made him push his finger in even further. When he did the fabric loosened its tight hold and Jimin was finally able to pull out.
"Fuck you." He laughed when he looked back at Yoongi's face, who was biting his lip in order to stop himself from laughing. "That's not funny."
A long silence. "Okay maybe it is." Jimin admitted, a wide smile breaking out on his face as well. Yoongi ruffled Jimin's hair for a second before turning towards the shelf and grabbing two plates.
"You still have a couple of minutes. You can explore some more if you want to."
Contrary to expectations , Jimin shook his head and sat down. "I'm done. I think I've had enough danger of the wildness for today." He said glancing at the finger trap that was carelessly thrown onto the table.
When Yoongi's warm laugh filled the room, Jimin couldn't help but smile as well.
