the night is in our town, the evening jaws
we gotta get by.
sun kissed one's shoulders,
healing is effectless, greedily taking time.
another summer with my friends,
sparkling, vividly captivating,
still boring, they're late to pick me up,
talk with no sense,
pretend to be brave when it's dark.
the bottles we drain,
the cars blink and pass
if you'd show me where you strong
i'd tape my mouth shut.
i feel grown up, much briskly
every time we staying out late.
an itch for wanderlust, fearing the choice making,
the bitter aftertaste.
so it's better to go swimming rather hiding in the parks
we're asleep in afternoon

and so much lucky
to see this city darkening fast
