Momo quickly placed some earrings on as she rushed to the door, walking past the bathroom she did a double take at her body mirror, she was wearing a pair of dark blue skinny jeans that complimented her butt and legs, accompanied with a white sleeveless button up shirt with a v-neck collar, a thin golden chain hung around her neck resting on top of her blossoms, a blue jacket rested on her shoulder as she looked at herself, looking down at her black sneakers she used her quirk to make a black belt for her pants.
"There, perfect!" She told herself before walking to the door to answer it. "You got this girl, it's been three weeks since you met him and he asked you out on a date, dress code casual." Opened the door she smiled earnestly as she stared at Izuku, taking in his appearance.
He wore a blue shirt the words 'Truest Hero' splattered on the front in an angle with different colors spreading across the words. He wore a pair of jeans with some fashionable tears on his knees and shins, with a pair of blue high top sneakers, a black jacket tied around his hip, said hip had his wallet hanging off the belt right on top of his right pocket for easy access. He wore a pair of blue glasses, non-prescription, a blue snapback with the top ten heroes in chibi forms striking dramatic poses with All Might being in the middle of all of them, and to her surprise, she found a longboard resting in his hand. While the other one was behind his back?
"Wow." Izuku mumbled under his breath as he looked away from her. "You're gorgeous..." he said before pulling out a rose behind his back, a blush covered her cheeks as she accepted the small rose. "I was hoping it would make a good impression but now that you stand before me looking like that... the rose feels kinda underwhelming." He chuckled with a small blush still on his cheek as he scratched the back of his head.
"It's okay, it's the thought that matters." She said as Izuku nodded. "Besides, you're not looking too bad yourself there handsome." Momo sent the boy a wink as he blushed at her open compliments. "Come on in, let me put the rose in some water and we'll get going." Nodding the boy stepped in as he waited in the front door. "Also if you wish, you can leave your board here until we come back."
'I'm not sure if I have to remove my shoes.' Izuku though to himself as he looked around the hallway. The home was a modern house, with wooden floors, vases and pictures hung on the walls, a pair of slippers for guests, which answered his earlier question. Walking back to Izuku, the boy burned with a blush at the sight he saw. It was a vase with a chibi version of him that said, 'from Izu' with little hearts and stars surrounding him. 'What the fuck that's so cute!' He thought as he covered his face with his free arm.
"I'm glad you like it." Momo said after catching his reaction, a blush adoring her cheeks. "I just made it with my quirk." She admitted as Izuku nodded, the two left the house after locking it.
"So are you ready for our date?" Izuku asked as Momo nodded.
"This is my first date, so I don't have much experience, I'll be in your care today." She said happily as Izuku chuckled at that.
"I guess that makes two of us." He admitted as Momo looked at him in surprise. "This is my first date as well." The Creation Quirk user stared at her date with a blush before linking his free arm with her own.
"I'm honored to be your first." She said as Izuku blushed at her words. "I'm ready for a good day Izu-kun." She said as the boy looked down at her with a bright warm smile, unknown to him, got Momo to gain a small blush of her own from seeing him smiling like that.
"Great! Let's go, I have all kinds of plans we can do!" Izuku told her, before he placed the board on the floor. "Have you ever skated before?" He asked as the girl shook her head. "Perfect!" He smiled happily before bringing her close. "Do you trust me?" He asked as she nodded, recalling what he did for her when they first met.
"With my life." She declared causing Izuku to turn red as a tomato. "Aw look at you!" She sang softly as she gently squeezed his cheeks.
"You'll pay for this." He hissed weakly as the girl watched the stream rise off his head. Pulling her close, he placed her in front of him as he got behind her holding her hips. "You can smack my hands away if you feel like I'm getting too touchy." Izuku said as Momo shook her head.
"Like I said, I trust you. I know you mean well." She said as the boy nodded, thankful she was understanding and so kind.
Soon Izuku got behind her on the longboard and the two began rolling down the streets, stopping with Izuku taking control of the back to stop themselves, every time they did she would slip through his arms and her back would touch his front, she blushed gently as she nearly felt every muscle on his body from the close contact. His strong arms held her tightly as their bodies would connect for a few seconds before going again.
XxX A Few Minutes Later XxX
The two arrived at their destination which was the Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall, getting off the board, Momo gently slapped her cheeks to try and get rid of the blush on her cheeks while Izuku stashed his board in a few bushes since carrying all day seemed like a hassle for their date.
Izuku and Momo ate outside of a restaurant for dinner, to which the dark green haired boy and black haired girl managed to have a wonderful discussion about whatever they talked about despite how nervous he two were at the start of it. It didn't help when the waitress compliment on how cute they looked together, watching their reactions, which was them blushing gently and making eye contact causing them to blush harder as they looked in opposite directions. Having a fair experience of couples coming into the shop, she began teasing them gently enough to cause them to have a small blushing contest which she announced the winner to be Izuku who blushed the least, if only by a little.
'Thank you mom for the training on keeping my composure... even if it helped little to nothing!' He thought to himself, it wasn't that she didn't do good at her teachings, it's just that life or death situations and embarrassment or seductiveness situations, were two completely different subjects.
The woman had been kind enough to discount their meal which Izuku paid for full, after a small argument between who was paying the bill, but Izuku won the debate, ignoring the discount as he added it to her already large tip. His thoughtful act having an effect on Momo's heart strings, causing Izuku's kind and humble points to increase drastically in her eyes.
After that the two simply went around to look around the mall going into stores that interested them such as a place filled with hero comics and merchandise much to the enjoyment and joy of the two future Pro-Heroes. Izuku bought her some clothes as well as some jewelry. He was surprised that when he paid, he didn't find his date waiting outside, knowing she wouldn't abandoned him, he assumed she went to the bathroom, so he waited outside the store knowing it would be best. To his surprise she approached him with a bag of her own which she gave to him as he found a pair of green shoes with 'Plus Ultra!' splattered in yellow on the side with an All Might chibi on the back.
Thanking her kindly the two headed off to look at some more stores. And then a little while later after that the two went to get themselves ice cream.
Izuku and Momo happily ate their frozen treat as they sat on a bench, with all their goodies sitting next to Izuku, enjoying their treats as well as still discussing whatever was the topic. Either it be about quirks, about learning more about one another, or just random things that they could think off.
Momo looked at Izuku who was laughing about something they were just talking about, getting a warm smile from seeing how the dark green haired boy was enjoying himself even if they were both really nervous at the beginning of their date. That made her happy; she wanted him to enjoy himself during their time together. Something about his smile and happiness made her feel all warm inside; then again she figured that would be the case, since his kind and gentle nature always seemed to have make her heart beat in a happy tune as her cheeks gave off a rosy glow.
'He's truest and good natured, not a single wicked bone in him.' Momo thought as she shared a chuckle at Izuku's comment.
Momo couldn't help but giggle slightly, remember how confident and smooth Izuku was when he asked her for them to go out on a date earlier during his morning run, since it was on the way before she had even moved into it. Thus becoming a habit seeing each other briefly in the morning.
"Hey Izuku." She started to say, getting Izuku's attention as he looked at her in a curious manner.
"Yeah Moo-chan?" The innocent teenager asked her with her pet name, his reply was so innocent and warm. She couldn't imagine how someone like him could have possibly defeated those lowlifes when they first met, his determined glare and confidence expression on the day flashed in her mind.
"You have some chocolate on your face." Momo pointed out, getting Izuku to widen his eyes a little.
"Oh," Izuku used his napkin that he had when they got the ice cream before wiping his face, "Did I get it?"
"No you didn't, here let me help." Momo offered him, to which he smiled at her, not seeing a reason for her to need to do that.
"It's alright," Izuku assured her, unaware of his date's true motive, "I can get it myse-."
He was interrupted when Momo placed her lips onto his, which immediately got the dark green haired male to turn as red as a tomato for the second time today while his eyes widened from the action, showing that he was not expecting this at all.
But just as quickly as he blushed, it died down and became a dusting pink on his cheeks as he closed his eyes, with his free hand he cupped her cheek, getting into the kiss as he enjoyed the cold lips thanks to the ice cream.
The kiss lasted for a full minute before Momo pulled away, leaving her with a soft smile on her face. But as she looked up, she was captured by Izuku's face.
He gave her a closed eye smile, his cheeks glowed warmly, his dimples and freckles complimented the blush, with a tilt of his head his hair softly fluttered in the slight breeze. His eyes opened as she watched his bright green eyes gently glow from under the sunlight. He was clearly happy.
'I-I think my heart just skipped a beat!' Momo admitted as she quickly covered her surprise while speaking up.
"Got it, it was delicious." Momo teased with her smile still on her face, getting Izuku to become a cute blushing mess as he lowered his head while scratching his cheek, he wasn't sure if she was referring to the chocolate on his mouth, if there was any there at all in the first place, or if she meant their kiss.
Looking back up, Momo caught the small yet really happy smile that appeared on his face, as he couldn't help but enjoy it even if it did came out of nowhere. She noticed this, and also merely smiled softly at him, glad to see that he liked it.
So when he quickly leaned toward and kissed her, Momo's face light up like a firework. Izuku's half lidded eyes stared into her own, causing the girl's heart to flutter wildly.
'He looks so cool and kind.' She thought as Izuku pulled away from his kiss as he placed a finger on his lip, accidentally pulling it down gently. 'He's sooooooo hot!' Momo said as she held a fist above her heart, as if trying to stop it from exploding in her distressed state.
"I think I've had enough of todays date!" Momo said as she stood up as Izuku chuckled at her words.
"If I were anyone else, they would've taken that in a completely different way." He joked as Momo realized what she said. "But I completely understand, as I feel the same." Izuku said as he tried to hide his smile behind his ice cream which was nearly finished. Momo turned around with a dangerously dark blush as she fought the urge to jump in place.
'He's super hot, cute, strong, and impossibly kind! The entire package all in one!' Mentally cheered the girl as Izuku finished the last of his treat as he tried to stop smiling, he caught the blush that covered Momo. Grabbing their items after making sure he didn't have any crumbs on himself, he began leading the way to the bushes to fetch his board. Seeing that his hands were full, she decided to help him, but not entirely out of kindness as she really wanted to hold his hand and arm, not that she was willing to admit it.
Momo told Izuku to wait for a bit as she turned to a corner asking for Izuku to stay close but turn around as she lifted her shirt just below her chest.
"Tada!" She cheered as Izuku found himself starring at a sort of bag, noticing the shape of it, the bag resembled a skateboard, or more precisely, a longboard. "Try it." She ordered as he placed everything on the ground. Placing his longboard in it, he zipped the one strap bag on him, the wheels pointing outward and away from his back as the flat side of the board rested on his back without damaging his clothes thanks to the bag.
"Thank you, I really appreciate it Moo-chan." Izuku said as the girl replied with it was nothing. Reaching for her hand he pulled her close as the girl laid her head on his arm.
Silently cheering her brain for the quick thinking.
XxX Momo's House XxX
The two walked in silence all the way home, it wasn't awkward or ill intended. The two just enjoyed the time they spent cuddling next to each other, locked with hands and arms. Once they reached to Momo's house, Izuku got ready to part ways as he placed the bags inside beside the door.
"I really enjoyed our date." Momo said as she twirled her hair gently, looking at him with a genuine and warm smile, a blush gently hovering on her cheeks.
"I did too, I promise to take you out some more." He offered as the girl nodded happily. But the mood soon changed as Izuku frowned gently. "I have something to tell you." He said as Momo felt a bit of worry.
"Shoot." She said as he took a deep sigh.
"I want us to stay as friends." The boy said as the girl immediately felt her heart slightly crack. Her nose began to burn as her vision began to blur slightly as the tears formed, though they dared not to spill.
"What? Why?" She demanded as she took a step forward outside as Izuku stared at her straight in the eyes.
"For our future." He said as the girl raised her eyebrows in surprise. She was expecting something like he was just playing with her, he didn't like what he felt today, he just wanted her body, or even if it was just a dare. But that she was not expecting.
"What do you mean?"
"We're going to be attending U.A. next year," he said as the girl nodded, she knew this but what did this have to do with their relationship. "I want to stay as friends because I want us to focus on our dreams." He said as he clenched his fists tight much to Momo's surprise. "I want you to focus on your studies, on school, in opportunities in being recruited for sidekicks, your future." He said as Momo placed her hands on her mouth.
"Izuku..." she whispered gently as the boy had tears streaming down his face.
"I can't bare the thought of holding you back in your dreams and goals of becoming a heroine..." the boy admitted as he began wiping away at the tears with his hands. "I can't hold you back, not someone as kind and strong as you Momo Yaoyorozu..." The girl used her quirk to create a handkerchief from her palm as she helped the boy clean up his tears. "I... I lost someone who I admired when I was younger, I saw him in the same light as All Might," Momo's eyes widen in surprise at his words, she knew Izuku was a fanboy when it came to the number one hero, but never had he ever compared anyone to his childhood and present hero. "But he became a bully and used his quirk for his self ego and satisfaction by beating down those below him... soon that light vanished." Izuku grabbed her hand as he placed it on his cheek.
"But now I see you in that light now..." he said as the girl's eyes widen in surprise.
"M-Me? But why? How? I'm just... me." She said while doing a gesture with her hands from her chest down to her feet. "I'm nothing special." She whispered to herself as her self confidence had been attack more than a few times thanks to her previous school.
"That's the point, it's you." He said as the girl's head lowered, a sharp pain in her heart. "You're incredible!" Her eyes widen in shock as she stared at the floor as he continued. "You're a genius not because you were born with it, but because you studied countless nights and days, memorizing, practicing, and pushing yourself past your limits to become who you are today. I have no doubt that you shedded plenty of blood, sweat, and tears to become the amazing girl you are today. You've showed me kindness and I've returned, but somehow you always manage to make me feel like I haven't done enough to repay you until today."
Dropping the bags onto the floor he hugged the girl tightly, but not hard enough to hurt her.
"In the short few weeks that I've met you, you became my inspiration to do my best, my reason to push myself just as hard as you did." He admitted with a smile as the girl couldn't believe what she was hearing, nobody ever told her something so kind and heartfelt. "I want to make you happy but I also want you to reach your dreams, that's why I want to ask you for a outrageous request..." Momo didn't like the sound of that as she looked at him in the eye telling him to ask her. "I want to become serious with you when we become pro heroes." As Momo looked away from him.
"You realize the if someone else comes around, I won't push them away for you." Izuku nodded. "If they tell me their feelings and I accept them you can't hold it against me." Izuku nodded. "If I find someone and my feelings for you disappear you can't just get them back so easily." She said as Izuku nodded one final time as Momo looked at the ground. Turning around she got ready to close the door as she didn't dare to look up. "I won't wait for you forever..." This time he spoke up.
"I wouldn't dare ask you to do that for me." He said with a sad smile as the girl finally looked up, a painful smile latched onto her face as the tears flowed gently.
"I'm sorry, but I need you to leave." She said before closing the door as Izuku grabbed his bags and began walking away. Momo heard his steps before the loud sound of his skateboard slowly faded in the distance, indicating that he had left. "Stupid Izuku..." she mumbled to herself as she began to cry by herself gently. "Why did I fall so hard for you..." she whispered to nobody in general. Hugging her knees up to her chest as her back laid on the front door, she looked up as she felt her heart ache painfully at the sight of the vase with the rose inside it. His chibi form smiling happily at her. "I still like you..." she whispered as she glanced at the shopping bags beside her.
Remembering the kiss, the happy expression he gave her, the face he made before accepting that she wasn't going to wait forever... all of it just tore her heart in half.
XxX With Izuku XxX
He never stopped once since he left, he forced himself to keep moving forward, because he knew the moment he stopped, he'd hightail his way back to her and try to take everything back, something he knew he couldn't and shouldn't do. It hurt him so badly, but he was serious, he couldn't hold her back, even if it meant suffering from his actions and hurting her in the process. Once he got home, his mother tried saying greeting him but he ignored her as he headed straight to his room before tossing all the bags on the floor.
Pacing around his room he stared at nothing as he placed his hands behind his head.
"Fuck." He uttered gently as he sat down on his bed looking at the bags.

I just decided to add it because... well that's were it all headed :3 at first I was going to ship them before I realized that it'd probably help build a stronger bond in the future. Honestly I'm kinda debating of sending Momo Of with Shoto since they are so cute *^*
