"Power of Prayer"
Focus (5):
Meditate on the verses you memorized last week. Try and extract what they meant. Add this new one to the list and meditate on it too:
Matthew 17:20
[20]So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
Preparing to Mine (10):
Miners! Are you ready to search for the gems of God's truths? If so, ask the Spirit for the tools you might need for this expedition. Ask His help that you might not miss out on a single gem that you might come across. Claim this promise:
Exodus 31:3
[3]And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,

Open your bibles and get ready to read the following passages. Read it carefully:

*
Prophets And Jesus in the time of the past were able to miracles after miracle in the sight of the people. All they did was to utter a prayer and lift it to God. Why is it that when they pray the answer always seem to be 'yes' even when it seems so outrageous? Why is it that at our times today, getting a 'yes' from God seems like a miracle in itself?
What's the difference now? Is it God? Can't He do those miracles because it was bible times? Does God change?

Meditation (20):
Meditate on the truth that God has shown you today. What did the men and women of old need to do accomplish such great miracles with God? What was Jesus doing during His ministry on earth and how was this connected to the miracles He wrought for the people?
Ask God to take you deeper into study. Does God change? If so then, what's wrong with the people today? Let God guide you in your worship today.
Heart Searching (15):
Claim:
Psalms 51:7
[7]Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Do you believe that when you pray, God will move mountains? Do you really understand the power God has given to the people who would pray and ask for His help in faith?
Is perfecting an exam too hard for God? Does keeping you safe the entire day is all He can do? Is giving you good health is the greatest gift He can give? If so, why do we ask God for small things when He is so great?
Do you believe that God can do wonders, even more than the miracles recorded in the bible, to the people today? If so, what's holding us back? What's holding you back from asking great things from God when He is the Lord of the Universe?
Confession (5):
Ask for forgiveness of all the sins the Holy Spirit helped you remember. Ask Him to remind you of the other sins you haven't confessed yet.
Ask for forgiveness for limiting an unlimited God because of our limited faith.
Praises (5):
Praise God for what He is doing in your life. The blessing and the changes.
Rest (5):
It is time to conclude today's worship. Speak to the Lord and allow the Spirit to bring into mind further insights.
Have you learned something new about God? about yourself? If so, write it down in your journal.
That's all for today. I hope you have been all blessed. Vote on this chapter if you have finished the exercise.
God bless and see you tomorrow.
