Chapter 12: The punishment
When I woke up the next morning, I was greeted by Zoey, waiting outside my bedroom door.
"Good morning grandpa tackler!" Zoey said to me as I took my first step out the door. "What was that all about? The leaders daughter just stopped by and said her grandpa was doing alright and she wants an apology."
"Okay, Wait! she's the leaders daughter? Oh, man." I said pouting, and by the way, the leader is a mayor but a merman.
"Um, what are you doing?" Zoey asked pointing to the door.
"Oh, she's waiting out there, is'nt she?" I asked knowing what the answer whould be. She nodded so I swam over to the door and went outside.
"Um, hi." I said aquardly.
"Hey," She said leaning against the very tall, and very thick kelp tree.
"Look, I'm really sorry, about what happend yesterday. I was trying to impress a merboy I like, and I guess thing's got kind of out of hand. So, yeah." I said trying not to look into her eyes.
"It's okay, I liked a boy to, and I almost did the same thing you did." She said, as I looked up in her eye's they were very calm and sweet looking. "By the way, my names Blair." She said as she stuck her hand out.
"My names Kiki." I put my hand in her's and shook it, she has a very firm hand shake, probebly learned it from her dad.
"So, Can I talk to you're mom?" Blair asked.
"Sure," I said as I swam inside with her. "Zoey, Blair want's to talk to you." Yep, their ganna be friends.
"Okay, before I talk to her, I want to talk to you. You're punishment is... You are going to volenter somewhere just for fun, you can even ask kayla if she want's to." Zoey said. Come on! Kayla is so not going to do this, But I'll ask her anyway.
