Carly's POV
Spooky was walking me home today. I had just graduated and was spending a lot of time with him over the summer. We were talking then we reached my house, my place is just the street before his. "I'm going to Miami next week to see my dad so I probably won't see you for a little while" I looked down kicking rocks. "That's cool, the girls are hot out there" I smacked his shoulder then cussed him out. "Alright relax mi hija" he put his hand ups in defence then kissed me on the cheek before starting his track down the street. "I'll call you" he called out. I waved before going into my house. Me and Spooky weren't really dating we were just close friends, very close if you know what I mean. Maybe around my 18th birthday we fucked after drinks at the Santos house. I was pretty wasted so I don't remember much, I only remember doing it again the morning after. I did like Oscar but I wasn't a fan of what he was into, seeing my brother go through it was enough for me. My brother is serving life for a drive by shooting the wrong guy dead. Sadly the guy was in my grade and rumours went around leaving me the least likeable at school. I was in the lounge room watching TV when Mike started texting me.
Mike: bro have u spoken to spooky
: not since the afternoon why?
Mike: he got arrested, I was driving past and he was in cuffs on his street
I couldn't believe it. I tried to call him but he wasn't answering.
