I wake feeling warm when i hear the hum of Eto awake
Jack: m-morning Eto
Eto: morning
She says with a smile as she kisses my cheek and this time i can tell i’m blushing because i feel heat rise to my cheeks and she smiles and i ask
Jack: hey Eto can we go outside?
Eto: too risky
Jack: please there must be somewhere we can go even for a little while play a game
Eto stops and looks back at me and i get ready to jump behind Nora and she sighs
Eto: we can go out to the suicide forest a little south from here
Jack: um...sure
Eto: we can go play hide and seek
I smile at that almost bursting into laughter
Jack: your joking right?
Eto: im serious
Jack: hide and seek it is
I say with a smile getting out of bed as i see Nora grab her mask as Eto puts her cloak on but it's on backwards
Jack: here lemme help
I say walking over i grab the hood and pull it up as she tucks her arms in and i turn it around and she pokes her arms through the openings for them and i lower it as she pulls it down and her head pokes through as she looks at me with a pleased smile
Eto: thanks Jack
She says joyfully as she wraps bandages around her face and i ask
Jack: did you actually get any clothes for me?
As i ask Nora taps my shoulder and i turn around to see her holding me some clothes i smile taking them and walking into the closet behind the bed and changing into maroon tracksuit pants and a black skin tight shirt along with a black hoodie i walk out looking to Eto and she looks to me
Eto: good but one last thing you need to wear
She passes me a half mask for my mouth designed to look like bandages i put it on and we walk out the room
Jack: could we pass Tatara and Ayata before we leave?
Eto: sure
She says in a surprised tone and i follow her into a room and i see Ayata leaning on a wall and Tatara leaning over a bench with a bunch of papers i walk over seeing there maps and i walk over tapping Tatara on the shoulder and she spins around in the blink of an eye
Tatara: who…Jack?
Jack: hey!
I say as i hug her and i could tell she was shocked to see me
Tatara: what are you doing out here?
Jack: we’re going out into a suicide forest to have some fun since i wanted to go outside and i thought i’d say hi before we left
Tatara smiles at this hugging back
Tatara: thanks for thinking of me Jack
I just smile as i look over to Ayata
Jack: you too Ayata
I say walking over hugging her and she lightly hugs back and gives a smile
Ayata: thanks i guess
She says and in a nonchalant tone as me, Eto and Nora leave for the forest
TIMESKIP
We arrive at the forest and i block my nose since i can only smell death
Eto: you go hide we’ll count to 30
Jack: there a limit to how far i can go out?
Eto: no, 1
I start running as fast as i can as i get to a tree i crouch down and wait
Eto: 30!, i’m coming
I hear her yell and i keep as quiet as possible and after 5 minutes she finds me
Eto: boo
She whispers in my ear and i yelp at that springing up to see her right behind me
Jack: oh my god Eto your gonna give me a heart attack
I pout and she giggles at me
Jack: you run and i’ll count, 1
She runs and i continue counting
TIMESKIP
We’ve had a good few games and i just found Nora which means it’s my turn to hide and i have a plan
Jack: hey Eto how long until i have to show myself?
Eto: when we call out we give up
I nod and run behind back towards the more shallow part of the forest and i grab a couple of body’s place them around a bunch of the tree’s if i can smell all theses dead body’s then there scent should mask mine from Eto and Nora
Eto: 30!
I hear Eto yell
TIMESKIP
I don’t know how long this game has been now but i’m getting worried i haven’t heard Eto call out to me in a while ‘SNAP’ i hear a twig snapping and i peak out and accidently brush against the bush to my side as i see a average height male with white hair and two girls both teens one wearing a blue jacket over a eggshell button up shirt and dark blue short jeans along with purple hair and the other in a aqua jumper and long grey pants with black hair and an eyepatch the girls spin around looking in my direction
???: h-hey touka why are those bodies positioned like that?
One says sounding spooked
???: i don’t know
I move back to make sure i’m hidden and i accidently brush past the bush and snap a branch
???: who’s there!? Come out!
I hesitate but stand up and walk out of my hiding spot an they look at me intently
???: it’s him
She says shocked and i realise their ghouls meaning they will want me making my eyes go wide
???: hey, hey it’s fine we won’t…
I run away as fast as i can and they both follow me
???: please stop running we’re not gonna hurt you!
The purple haired one calls out as i trip over a stump root and fall over twisting my ankle in a weird way and i cry out in pain as the girls catch up and i try to crawl away holding back the tears of pain from my ankle and one of them rolls me onto my back and i groan in pain
???: stop running we’re not gonna hurt you
The purple haired one says in a caring tone and i get an idea
Jack: m-my ankle
I whine and she looks at it moving to it to assess the damage
???: you might have dislocated your ankle
Jack: p-pop it back in
I grunt and she holds my leg and foot close to my ankle
???: 1, 2...3!
She yells as she swiftly pops it back in and i cry out in pain again
???: there it’s back in place
She says as i try to move my ankle around and i can so with the remaining strength i have i get up and as i do the purple hair one puts a hand on my shoulder and i slap it off as i run again and they try to catch me but i suddenly fall in a ditch rolling over and getting bumps cuts and bruises and scratches as i get to the bottom i groan in pain as the purple haired one slides down i try to move but i can’t she slides her arms under me and she carries me bridal style up the ditch and as i my vision goes blurry i let my head lean on her shoulder as i pass out
TIMESKIP
I wake up in pain groaning confused as to where i am as i open my eyes looking around I hear a ‘CLICK’ and the door opens and the purple haired walks in and i scramble back scared since my right leg is also chained to the leg of the bed of to my right she puts her hands out to me in a safe way
???: please i’m not gonna hurt you
She says in a caring tone as she walks closer and i start to raise my hands in a defensive form as she’s only a step away i completely cover my head scared of what's next she may have said she isn’t gonna hurt me but people lie she crouches down to me reaching out and she pulls me into a hug
???: relax your safe here we won’t hurt you we never will
Jack: w-what’s your name?
She smiles at me warmly
