Chapter 28 Recap
"okay my dear daughter, you know that I like to get down to the business, so please tell me what you needed help with that you brought all your family down to Germany?" he said lifting his right leg up resting it on his left, he took a cigar placing it in his mouth while his son standing beside him lit it. He pointed a cigar towards Richard who mumbled a no thank you.
"My grandson is poisoned and the only person that has the antidote, in the world is a man in Germany, father I need your help to find this man before nightfall tomorrow or my grandson will die vater (means father in German) please," tears slide down her cheeks her father looked unmoved, taking a puff of his cigar, he smelled the cigar then looking up at his daughter
"I know who will have the antidote, he is a friend of your uncles and if he doesn't have the antidote a friend of his will, but you my daughter, know me so well. I will not do anything without a price. What will you give us for this favour?" he said smiling evilly at his own flesh and blood this guy was as insane as Lucinda. All of us stiffened what the hell would this guy want he had everything, a massive house, three wives for his sexual needs and by the looks of it his children to slave around for him.
"What is it that you want?" she murmured but he heard her loud and clear,
"I've been looking for another wife, someone young and beautiful but not a German woman, they are getting boring I want someone exotic, and that woman in your son's arms is stunning. The girl for the antidote" he said looking at me licking his lips; I stiffened in Blade's arms.

"What the fuck? Are you insane?" Linken said standing up practically picking Elena up and pushing her towards Richard, he came to stand next to our settee; Blade was holding me tightly it almost hurt he was looking at Natasha's father with pure hate his body was shaking next to mine, Natasha's father was looking at me amused I returned his stare with disgust.
"Shall I arrange things for our wedding, my dear?" he said smirking at Blade.
Blade stood up pushing me behind him, "Darren get Ben out of here" Blade was pissed to the max, he had his fists clenched, when he heard the doors close he ran to Natasha's father moving like a lion.
Three things happened at that very moment Mathew yelled into a microphone "code red," Natasha's brother got hold of Blade before he reached her father, and pinned him to the floor it tuck three of them to hold him down, Linken moved towards Blade but another one of his sons pushed Linken back pulling a gun out of his trousers and pointing it to Linken's head.
"If anyone moves he dies" he said everyone stopped in their tracks, there was an eerie silence for a few seconds were everyone looked at each other, waiting for someone to fracture the intense stillness, it was like everyone one was frozen. There was a scream outside the door, the door Ben and Darren had walked through my heart beat increased, fear creped through me I moved to get to the door but Natasha's sister stood in my way I tried pushing past them, the door flow open men in SWAT uniform filed in I tuck a step back in shock I heard the clatter of metal hitting the floor, I turned around the guy that had his gun pointed to Linken was clutching his hand pain evident on his face the SWAT men came in pointing their weapons at all of Natasha's family, her father had stood up his cigar on the floor his mouth hanging open, I rushed past the women running to the door, I pushed it open there sat Darren and Ben safe on the floor, I sighed walking to them Darren sat up pulling Ben with him. Ben ran to me hugging my legs,
"Mummy I'm scarred" he whispered, my baby's small frame shaking I scooped him up into my arms hugging him kissing each inch of his face.
"Mummy's not going to let anything happen to you baby, your safe baby you don't need to be scarred" he kissed my cheek. I carried him back into the room, the old man and his children were all lined up against the wall, the guy looked beyond pissed, his children and wives I felt sorry for they all looked really scarred looking at the SWAT guys and their weapons held up towards them. Ben pulled his face into my neck closing his eyes I kissed his forehead, Blade looked up at me he was stood next to he's father and brother, Natasha and Elena stood next to Mathew behind them. Blade looked at me his gaze working its way up my body making me feel warm inside, his gaze landed on my eyes he nodded for me to go stand behind him I smiled back at him reassuringly. Darren placed his hand on my shoulder guiding me to stand next to Mathew, Darren kept his arms around me protectively, as soon as we stood still Richard stepped forward in front of Natasha's father, who looked back at Richard with resentment he inched forward but the SWAT guy pushed his gun into Natasha's father's shoulder he backed away hoofing.
"Do you know who I am Adolph?" Richard asked his father in law, who was surprisingly called Adolph he suited the name. Adolph shrugged,
"Yes your pathetic, my daughter choose her suitor well" he smirked Richard punched him across the face, Blade and Linken quickly grabbed him pushing him back, Adolph spat blood out of his mouth near Richards feet, "Pathetic" he echoed. Richard shrugged his shoulder his boys let go of him
"Okay you're just pissing me of, you tell me where this man is with the antidote or all your family including yourself goes to jail." Adolph laughed
"Who the fuck is going to arrest me, these people you have hear can only kill me not arrest me. You think that the police here will listen to you, I'm good friends with the prime minister I could have you chucked out of Germany" he laughed, god this guy didn't know who he was messing with.
"If you had me chucked out of your country, America would become your worst enemy, resulting in us stopping all trade into this country, I don't think your prime minister will be happy with that" Richard stated matter of factly.
"Who do you think you are, thinking you have that power you're a mere business man" Adolph scoffed rolling his eyes.
"Apart from being in charge of all military weaponry in America, I'm also accountable for all trade in American anything coming in and out. So the president of the US and I are very close, because he likes to keep in track of how his army is doing, and what's coming in and out of his country" Adolph looked shocked as was I. I had no idea Richard held that much power and responsibility in the US, which was going to get passed down to Blade I stood there frozen and a little scarred. "So are you going to tell me where to get this antidote from? Or am I going to have to give your best friend the prime minister a call and have him arrest you?" Adolph grated his teeth together he reached into his pocket pulling out his mobile phone,
"Take his number down, he lives up in the mountain in an old shack it will take you about ten hours to reach him" Richard nodded for Mathew to take the number down as Adolph read it out loud, "My son will go with you he will show you the way, I suggest you leave the women and the children behind they won't be able to make the journey it's a long trek up the mountain, they can stay here." He said looking my way licking his lips I looked away from him feeling sick Darren's arms tightened around me, I held Ben close to me he was snoring softly his breath brushing against my neck.
"I wouldn't leave my own wife in your safety and she's your daughter, what makes you think I would leave my daughters and grandson here?" Richard turned away from him, Mathew had dialled the number, Mathew passed the phone to Richard, Blade came to my side he grabbed me from around the waist his forehead resting on mine, he rested one of his hands around my neck rubbing soothing circles there with his thumb. We stayed like that until Richard had made all the plans to get the antidote, Blade pulled away from me taking Ben into his arms,
"Come on were booking into a hotel, "Richard said holding his wife in his arms and grabbing Elena's hand, "I won't need your son I have some of the best trekkers with me at the moment, all I needed was a little information about the guy but thanks to you Adolph all I need them for is just to take me there." Blade guided me outside the massive mansion, our limos were parked there the chauffeur opened the doors for us I quickly climbed sighing in relief of being out of that place. Blade climbed in after me looking down at Ben his face looked concerned, I quickly placed my hand on Ben's forehead it was boiling hot, sweat ran down the side of his face I looked at Blade,
"Blade we need a doctor, please make him better" I laid his precious tiny head in my lap stroking his hair back.
"Sweetheart when we get to the hotel there are three doctors there to take care of Ben, he's going to be alright" Richard said sitting across from me I hadn't realised they had got in and the limo had started to move. Blade wrapped his arms around me holding me tightly I rested my head on his shoulder he kissed my cheek,
"I love you" he whispered holding me close to him, I smiled kissing his neck
"I love you more" I whispered back, closing my eyes,
"You wish baby, I love you more then you love me," he said chuckling
"No way, you think you do, but I love you way more" I giggled as he kissed my check again.
"Okay prove it?" I moved back looking up at him smiling seductively at him,
"I'll show you how much I love you later" I winked at him he smirked pulling my head back down to his shoulder; I closed my eyes slowly drifting off to sleep.
I felt the limo stop the doors opened I shivered as wind gushed through the open door, I snuggled closer into to Blade feeling his warmth, hugging Ben's overly warm body closer to me,
"Blade, you take Caramel in and I'll carry Ben in" I heard Richard whisper I felt Ben's weight lifted from my lap, I was too tired to open my eyes my body felt really week I hadn't eaten in the past twenty-four hours, I felt Blade move from my side I whimpered feeling the wind seep through my clothes,
"shh baby I got you" Blade kissed my forehead placing has arms around my shoulder and upper thighs lifting me out of the limo seats I wrapped my arms around his neck laying my head on his shoulder, falling back to sleep.
I lay in a soft bed I felt Ben's body curled up next to mine, I could hear footsteps moving around the room I was in, and someone was moving things about. I opened my eyes expecting it to be Blade but there was a man he was wearing a lab coat and stethoscope around his neck, he was stood over Ben and I, looking down at us he was poking a needle into Ben's arm. I looked at him panicked what was he giving my child I quickly covered Ben's arm, the doctor looked up at me shocked,
"ah Miss Williams your awake, you have nothing to worry about I was giving your son a substitute to the antidote this will stop the poison from spreading but only for a short amount of time, but enough time for your finance to obtain the antidote" he poked the injection into to Ben, Ben stared slightly snuggling closer to me and carried on snoring softly. The doctor left the room that's when I got out of the bed I was in; the hotel room was beautiful with antique white furniture, I walked to the door that the doctor had left through I opened the door slightly and the words I heard stopped me in my tracks,
"Blade go and say your goodbyes to Caramel and Ben, you might not see your son alive again" I heard Richard mutter quietly but I heard it load and clear, how could he say something like that to his son, I started to shake my knees going weak I slouched to the ground pain of losing Ben anguished throw my heart, the thought that I had been trying to keep away flooded through my mind 'what if they didn't make it back in time?' The door opened fully Blade stood over me looking into the room his gaze looking at the bed, then moving around to the rest of the room looking for me, a sob broke through my lips Blade's gaze immediately going down towards me on the ground he looked shocked then concerned.
"Caramel?" he knelt down so that he was eye level with me, "baby what is it?" he said placing a hand on my check whipping the tears away that were silently falling down.
"What if you don't make back in time?" I hiccupped looking at Blade, his face darkened he looked angry.
"Where going to make it back baby, don't you worry. Dad's was just being thoughtless he doesn't get the concept of hurting people's feelings," Blade lifted me up into his arms carrying me back to the bed he laid me down looking into my eyes not breaking the stare, he looked at me lovingly. Making me feel better instantly I knew he would make it back in time he wouldn't let anything happen to Ben. I loved him so much but I felt lately that we were drifting apart that we weren't spending time together enough and every time I was away from him I would have this fear that someone will take him away from me again. I clutched him tighter I didn't want to let him go but I had too Ben's life was a lot more important to me than my insecurities,
"Come back to me safe and sound, okay?" I said tracing his face with my finger tips moving them gently over his stubble that looked sexy on his flawless face.
He lent down closing his eyes his soft pinkish brownish lips met mine moving against mine ever so softly like he thought I would break if he put more pressure on, I snaked my arms around his neck bring him closer to me, his tongue slipped into my mouth his tongue massaging against mine make me moan.
"Oi, Blade we need to go!" someone yelled from nearby, but I clutched Blade closer to me not wanting to let him go, "if we don't go now we won't get back..." they trailed off. I quickly pulled away from Blade he kissed me on the forehead,
"I'll be okay and so will Ben, please eat something and just rest, I love you" he hugged me again moving of me down to my belly lifting my top and kissing my belly "I love you" he muttered, he moved to Ben lifting the duvet up around him, he kissed Ben's forehead "I love you" he whispered in Ben's ear, gettting up of the bed he went to the door looking back at us,
"I love you more Blade" I whispered, he shook his head in disagreement chuckling quietly, then closed the door behind him.
