We have finally won the war. It took us from April 30th, 2020 until May 6th, 2021 but we did it. I do not know when I will return home, but there is not risk that I will die. We're finally out of here, this time for real.

"I'm finna go to college and be the successful one to bring my family out the hood. My brother ain't did shit, got a good job then went off the grip on me, Ma and my 3 year old little sister. Just getting out the warzone to get out of another warzone. This shit just don't end," I said.
