Once upon a time, in the land of Japan, there lived the youngest Queen to ever live that was not only known for her youth, but for her strength, bravery, kindness but also her beauty. She was the head of her Grand Knights & what she did for fun wasn't trying out new dresses or making flower crowns, though she does like doing that with children, instead she liked training
She was a master strategist for every war she's fought in, her Kingdom always won. Her Knights would gladly go into battle with her & lay their life for her, sometimes she'd try to be peaceful with the opposing Kingdoms, but if they choose violence over peace, she wouldn't hesitate to strike them down & conjure the new piece of land. No one dared defy the Queen, the Queen being known as the Queen of Unity
Though she wasn't all just smiles & laughter...
"Guards! Their Royal Highness have been murdered!!" the Grand Duchess, Karen, called out to everyone that was able to hear
"Sound the alarm!!" Karen looked around in distress & gasped when she felt a tug, she looked down & her eyes widened when she saw Princess Christian
"Karen? What's wrong? Why is it so..." she trailed off when she looked behind Karen & saw blood slowly seeping out of her dead parents "... mama, papa? W-Why are they bleeding? Why is there blood?! Whats going on?! Mama, Papa!!"
"Princess!" she began crying & goes to run to them but was held back by two guards
"Mama, Papa...!!"
"Take her back to her room."
"Yes, Grand Duchess." she tried to fight back against the guards but she was far to weak, to weak for a 4 year old... but now she's stronger then ever
"Woo hoo!!" she cheered at the top of her lungs as she rode her beautiful white Andalusian stallion through the hay fields, though she wasn't sitting on him, she was standing on his back with the lead wrapped around her hand "Good morning farmers!" she greeted with a happy tone in her voice
"Good morning, your Highness!" she grinned & blew them a kiss before going back on her jolly ride, the young Queen loved her people & her kingdom with all her heart, just like the previous rulers. She hadn't even noticed when something unexpected popped out of the hay that caused her stallion to suddenly stop & throw her off, she let out a shout then a grunt when she accidentally slammed into someone & they were both thrown into a haystack
"Hey! What the hell?!" she only laughed as she laid on top of them
"Ah hahaha!! Sorry about that! Something scared my stallion that caused her to throw me off." she explains as she slowly pushes herself up & couldn't help but stare at the fellow beneath her, he looked back up at her before sighing & looking to the side
"I don't blame you. Must've been those brats." she giggles
"Kids these days, huh?" she finally gets off him & extends his hand out to him, he looked a little hesitant so she sighed & grabbed his wrist & pulled him up to his feet
"Sorry." she shakes her head
"It's fine! Though I should be the one apologizing to you, I crashed into you." he nods his head & scratches the back of his neck "Do you have a name?" he nods
"It's Shinsou Hitoshi. Who're you?" she looked at him a little surprised
'Wait, what? This guy doesn't know who I am...? I'm not wearing my usual attire but people still recognize me as the Queen... guess he doesn't get out much.' she stared at him for a couple more seconds before shaking her head
"Uh, um, my name is..." she moves her eyes to the hay bale then back at him "... Ba... iley. Bailey! That's my name! It's Bailey!" he stares at her weirdly before nodding his head
"Well Bailey, it was really nice meeting you, but I have to get back to wo--" she raises her hand
"Let me help you! As payback for accidentally getting thrown at you." he looked at her again before shrugging
"Whatever, just don't be a liability." she grins at him
"I won't!" in the end, Shinsou was actually the liability. His job was to carry things into a carriage, which was extremely heavy & he struggled to carry at least one, he watched when "Bailey" carried at least three at a time "Is that it?" he blushed in embarrassment when she picked up the one he had trouble carrying
"Y-Yeah, that should be it. Thank you..." she merely grinned
"It was nothing!" she then giggled "So, what do you do for a living? Anything exciting?" he huffed
"If you calling hauling a lot of stuff exciting? Then my life is full of excitement." she giggles "But, I do have this trainer that's helping me get into the Queen's Grand Knights. He said hauling heavy stuff like this should build up muscle, but doing particular one was for a job." she hummed
'So he wants to be one of my Grand Knights? I might look into this.' she nods
"Well good luck with that! I heard becoming one of her Grand Knights is a difficult task." he nods
"It is. I hope I can handle it though." she places her hand on his shoulder & nods
"Of course you can. Besides, the Queen always guides her men & women through the darkness & into the light." she then whistled in a way to call her stallion, who was standing beside a horse that was pulling a carriage "Well, I hope I see you again Shinsou." he nods his head
"Likewise. You're a very interesting person, Bailey." she hums
"Thank you." with that she watched as he retreated to the carriage & go off into a direction, she hums again then looked at her stallion who was giving her a look "What's with that look?" he just let out neigh "No seriously? Fuck was with that look?"
(With Shinsou)
"What took you so long, Shinsou?" Aizawa Shouta, Shinsou's trainer, asked as he sat on a crate "This is a job plus training, you're 6 minutes late!" he scolded the young boy, who flinched at his tone of voice
"I'm sorry. While I was in the middle of this job, a girl crashed into me." he raised a brow
"Girl? Who was she?"
"I'm not entirely sure. She did say he name was Bailey. Tall, brown haired girl with blue eyes & freckles. I think she was one of those people who has special abilities from the look in her eyes, or it was the fact that she had cat like eyes." she smiles softly "They were pretty to look at." Aizawa just stared at him
'Wait... he met the Queen, & he didn't know it was her? This kid is ridiculous.'
(Back with Chris)
"You can't keep pushing your suitors away, Christian! This is the 6th one this week! I saw some promise in him." Karen lectured as Chris rolled her eyes "A Kingdom is never complete without a King." she scoffs
"Why would I need a King when I can take care of this Kingdom all on my own?! & that suitor you saw promise in? He was nothing but a little entitled little shit, throwing on a prince charming facade so he could rule over MY Kingdom! The one I worked so hard into becoming successful, & I'm just getting started!" she exclaimed as she looked over an entire map of her Kingdom
"I just want you not to be alone when you grow older. Have a child so they can take over the Kingdom when you pass."
"I can always adopt."
"We need a BLOOD royal." she goes to suggest something but was cut off "& the young Prince's children are out of the picture. Your next of kin are destined to be the rulers of this Kingdom." Chris let out a long sigh "So I have a suggestion if you won't even take the suitors I pick out for you seriously."
"& that would be?"
"A Royal Ball!" she exclaims, Chris raises a brow "Royals from every Kingdom would be honored to come & join this ball. There you will have a long list of who you can choose for to be your future Groom!" she shakes her head
"I don't have time to arrange something this Grand. I have battle plans to attend too." she explains as she goes back to the map but that was snatched away
"I will give you a deal, Christian. If you choose a groom at this ball, I will stop pestering you about choosing a future King. If you do not, I won't." Chris growled at her, she then remember about the boy she saw eariler
"Alright, on one condition!"
"& that is?" she thinks for a moment before smiling & nodding to herself
"We invite everyone, & I mean everyone! I want the commoners to be allowed to attend this ball!" a flash of regret could be seen on Karen's face before it slacked
"Whatever you say, your Highness."
"Well then, let's arrange a Royal Ball." she declared as she cracked her knuckles above her head

"Sit up straight. A Queen must not slouch." Karen whispered to Chris, who was currently slouching in her throne while yawning into her hand. It took almost a week to arrange the entire ball but she did it, she made one of the largest balls anyone could attend too & it was definitely going to be night to remember, well, if Chris stays awake that is
"Sister, come on. They're here for you." Devion whispered from beside her
"Well you're the one that doesn't have to sit on their ass the entire night. There's nowhere here that's actually, quote on quote, my taste." she snarled as she watched one of the neighboring prince's smirk at her, she shuddered in disgust "Gah, I want this night to be over already."
"Lighten up sis, you'll be fine." she rolled her eyes
"Whatever." she muttered as she rested her chin in her hand, Karen sighed in defeat before walking off, later a Knight had approached her
"Yo, your Highness!" Chris looked up & joking scoffed
"Sai, what have I told you about calling me that? Just call me Chris!" she cheerfully exclaimed. Arawa Saigan, one of her close friends & high ranked Knights, merely laughed "Anyways, what is it that you need?"
"One of our newest recruits wants to meet you, if you wouldn't mind?" she laughs
"Of course not." she looks over & to her surprise she saw it was him "Shinsou Hitoshi, I knew I would see your face again but this time, you're one of my Knights." she giggled when she saw him blush & look away
"B-Bailey?" he scoffs "... you never told me you were the Queen, & that your name wasn't a-actually Bailey." she starts to laugh
"It's your own fault! I thought you'd recognize me." Arawa had started to laugh
"Wait a second! You didn't recognize the Queen?!" he exclaimed then started to laugh again
"Stop teasing him & go back to your post." he jokingly salutes her & starts walking off, Shinsou goes to go with him but was stopped by her "Not you, I'd like to share a few words with you."
"Are you sure?" she nods
"Mm hmm. You're pretty interesting." he chuckles
"You stole my words." she just grinned at him. Karen looked over & in surprise she saw Chris talking with one of her newest Knights, she then noticed that loving gaze Chris was giving him as the two chatted, she smiled to herself "So, my Queen, would you care to dance?" he politely asked as he motioned for her hand
"I thought you'd never ask." she replied as she took his hand, Karen mentally squealed before rushing over to the musicians
"Play something! Something calming but romantic!" they nod their heads, she then looks somewhere else "Lights! Dim the lights!" Chris, who heard her quiet demands, shook her head with a light chuckle
"What's so funny?"
"It's nothing." he shakes his head & leads her to the dance floor, people watched in shock as the Queen had decided to dance with one of her Knights, a commoner nonetheless, not even a Prince or a single King "You know, I sent invites out to the lower class people because I want hoping you would show up, Hitoshi. I'm glad to see that you've become one of my Knights."
"It's an honor serving you, my Queen."
"Flattery won't get you anywhere, my Knight." he chuckles

She let out a gasp when he suddenly dipped her, she let out a giggle as she wrapped her arms around his neck, though suppressed a laugh when she saw him struggling to hold her. She was bigger & most likely heavier than him since she was also wearing her armor & not just a dress, she lovingly stared into his eyes
"You're the first man to make me feel the way I do." he lifts her up slightly
"This is only our second meeting, Chris." she hums
"So? It makes you different. You've got something that most of my suitors don't have, compassion." she leans in "You're actually in love with me & this Kingdom. You'll lay down your life & not hide behind the castle walls. The type of man I've been looking for is one that would fight along side with me."
"& that's me?" she nods
"It is." she closes the gap between the two of them just as he lifts her up, there was silence everywhere but a sudden cheer made them break their kiss, she looks over & sees it was coming from both her brother & Karen "Oh jesus." she looks down at him & sees he was blushing brightly
"Does that make me your King?" she chuckles & leans her forehead on his
"You bet your ass it does." he smiles & kisses her again
