(A/n) I couldn't think of what to do for this arc so I just reduced it to 1 chapter, I'm sorry if you wanted more but this was all I could come up with)
(Y/n)'s POV
Finally, we were back at the Fairy Tail guild hall. Everyone had finished rebuilding the place so that was kind of a surprise. We entered and took in the new atmosphere of the place.
Erza: I could get used to this.
(Y/n): yeah, the guild hall needed a little remodeling. Looks like they pulled out all the stops.
Grey: yeah, this place looks amazing.
Levy walked up to us and greeted Lucy.
Levy: it's so good to have you back, Lu.
Lucy: oh, hi Levy.
Levy: isn't this awesome? Guess what, now we've got a swimming pool behind the bar.
Lucy: that's kinda weird.
Natsu: it's just not the same.
For as long as I've known him, Natsu hasn't been to fond of change. Seriously, 1 time I decided to change up my wardrobe by coming into the guild hall wearing flannel. The moment Natsu saw me, he completely incinerated my clothes, leaving me wearing nothing but my underwear.
Levy: and we've even got a game room in the basement.
Lucy: does it need to be this big?
Natsu: I don't like it.

Levy: but the biggest change is upstairs cause now everyone's aloud to go up to the second floor.
Elfman leaned over to railing and waved to us.
Elfman: yo.
Lucy: oh, wow.
Levy: master actually lets more of us go on S-class quests, but only if an S-class wizard agrees to go along.
(Y/n): well, that just means more work for me, perfect.
Makarov: well I'm glad you dunderheads made it back safely.
We all turned to see the master with Juvia standing next to him.
Makarov: I'd like you to meet Fairy Tail's newest member, Juvia. Isn't see a cutie?
Juvia: I can't wait to work with you.
Grey: ha, so you actually mad it in.
Erza: thanks so much for helping us in Akane.
Juvia: no, I should be thanking you because now I've found a new guild.
Makarov: we've also added another new member to the guild, someone you might recognize.
Happy: I wonder who it is.
We all turned. Lucy, Grey, and Natsu had shocked expressions on as They saw who the new member was. The Iron Dragonslayer, Gajeel Redfox.
Grey: WHAT HIM, ARE YOU KINDING ME?!
I just stayed nonchalant cause I didn't really know Gajeel all that well. We only met twice and the only conversation we had was when we were talking about our dragons.
Natsu: GAJEEL!
Grey: WHY'D YOU LET HIM IN HERE, GRAMPS?!
Juvia approached both of them.
Juvia: calm down, I asked him to come along with me.
Erza: I don't mind Juvia, but he's the one responsible for destroying our guild hall.
Makarov: now now, remember what I've taught you. Yesterday's enemy can be today's friend right.
Levy: yeah, if I'm ok with him being here than you should be too.
(Y/n): gramps and Levy are right. New members of Fairy Tail are to be treated with kindness and respect, regardless of what they did in the past.
Natsu: WHAT?! ARE YOU SERIOUSLY FORGIVING HIM FOR DESTROYING THE GUILD HALL AND HURTING TEAM SHADOW GEAR?!
(Y/n): *sigh* look I barely know Gajeel, but we should except him as part of our guild and our family.
I approached Gajeel and extended my hand for a handshake.
(Y/n): I hope we can become friends and grow closer as a family.
Gajeel: bite my shiny metal ass.
(Y/n): ok, not the friendly type, I can respect that.
I walked away and to the bar, where I sat down on 1 of the stools.
(Y/n): hey Mira, can I get the usual?
Mira: sure, coming right up.
After a few minutes Mira placed a glass of (f/d) in front of me.
(A/n) I would suggest not choosing any alcoholic drinks cause of something that happens later on in the story)
(Y/n): thanks Mira.
I took a sip when Oak flew over to me.
(Y/n): so how's I going over there.
Oak: well, Natsu's picking a fight with Gajeel.
(Y/n): so the usual?
Oak: yep.
(Y/n): so nothing's changed, good. I don't want Natsu setting the place on fire again.
Oak: OH, I've been meaning to ask you. What are you planning to do for the Fantasia parade.
(Y/n): hm, I thought about doing something a little more flashy this year. I did some research and found a spell that might win them over.
Oak: as long as it better than what you did last year.
(Y/n): what was wrong with last year's performance?
Oak: you destroyed 3 houses and a bank.
(Y/n): yeah, they sure SPENT a lot of time rebuilding it too.
Oak: was that a pun?

I woke up in my bed, my blanket had fallen off the edge and onto the floor. I really didn't want to get up, it was at least 1:30 when me and Oak went to bed. My eyes shifted towards the clock on the wall, it read 11:30. My eyes shot open jumped out of bed to get dressed.
(Y/n): CRAP! Oak, get up, we over slept! We're gonna be late!
Oak jumped out of his hammock and grabbed his stuff. I grabbed my bag as well as my sword and ran out the door.
We were about to enter the forest when me and Oak suddenly ran into something. I stumbled backwards and rubbed my head.
(Y/n): AH,WHAT THE HELL?!
A familiar purple text appeared in the air.
Oak: what's going on?
(Y/n): the Thunder Legion's back.
???: Hello again, (y/n).
Just then 3 figures emerged from behind the trees and walked to the edge of the barrier.
???: What's up, (y/n). How ya been?
(Y/n): I've been good, Bickslow. It's always good to see your crazy ass.
To my right stood a man with long, green hair.
(Y/n): Freed, I haven't seen you I quite awhile, how long's it been?!
Freed: 9 months, 13 days I believe.
I looked to my left and saw a woman wearing a bright green dress.
(Y/n): Evergreen, did you do something new with your hair?
Evergreen: as a matter of fact I did. Thank you for noticing.
???: Enough talking, let's get down to business.
Another figure walked out from the forest.
(Y/n): sup, Laxus?
Laxus: shut it! Now, do you know why your trapped inside this barrier?
(Y/n): hm, if I had to guess...I'd say you're about to do something bad and you don't want me getting in the way.
Laxus: exactly. You see Fairy Tail's reputation has been changing. Other guilds are starting to call Fairy Tail weak, and do you know why?
(Y/n): I'm afraid I don't.
Laxus: it because the old geezer that runs the guild has gone soft. A strong guild needs a strong master, and who better than me. When I'm in charge all the weaklings will be gone, and you'll be the first to go.
(Y/n): you know I've kicked your ass on multiple occasions, right?
Laxus: SHUT IT, YOU'RE LUCK I DON'T KILL YOU RIGHT NOW!
(Y/n): I'd like to see you try.
Oak: WHY ARE YOU PROVOKING HIM?!
Lightning came down from the sky and were heading right for me. I took my sword and held it above my head, blocking attack. I placed it back in it's scabbard and grinned.
(Y/n): ya know, Laxus, your arrogance is your worst quality. You constantly say you're superior to your guild mates and treat them all like dirt, but before you go I just wanna say I know how this is gonna end.
Laxus: whatever, when I'm in charge things are gonna change for the better and no one can stop me.
I then closed 1 eye and lifted my left hand to the open one, I then began to press my thumb and forefinger together rhythmically.
Laxus: WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!
(Y/n): pretending to crush your stupid face.
After that Laxus turned and walked away with the Thunder Legion not too far behind. I walked back to the house and just sat in a chair on the porch, putting my feet up on the railing.
Oak: WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! LAXUS IS GONNA TRY AND TAKEOVER FAIRY TAIL AND YOU'RE JUST SITTING HERE DOING NOTHING?!
(Y/n): relax, Oak. Everything is gonna be fine. Laxus will get what's coming to him before he even knows it.

I woke up a few hours later to the sound of screaming. It wasn't the kind of screaming you'd hear when someone's in danger or scared, it was more like a battle cry than anything else.
(Y/n): good work, Natsu.
Oak: FINALLY, NOW HOW ARE WE GONNA GET OUT OF HERE!
I didn't answer, I just got up from my seat and walked over to the edge of the barrier.
(Y/n): APOCALYPSE DRAGON RAGING FIST!
with 1 punch the barrier shattered, allowing us to leave.
Oak: YOU COULD DO THAT THE WHOLE TIME?!
(Y/n): actually I didn't think that would work.
We then made our way through the forest and Magnolia until we arrived at the guild hall. Where we saw Laxus exiting the building. He saw us and frowned, not like he was upset to see is, more like his way of saying sorry. I grinned and walked up to him.
(Y/n): hey.
He said nothing he just looked at me.
(Y/n): I told you I knew how it was gonna end.
I patted him on the shoulder as I walked past him.
(Y/n): see ya around, Laxus.
I walked into the guild hall and saw probably the funniest thing I've ever seen.
(Y/n): PFFFFFT HAHAHAHA! LAXUS REALLY DID NUMBER ON YOU DIDN'T HE, NATSU?!
Most of Natsu's body was wrapped in bandages, he couldn't even speak.
Natsu: *muffled shouting*
(Y/n): anyway, sorry I'm late.
Lucy: don't worry about it, everything was handled. But the parade's been scheduled for tomorrow night.
(Y/n): well, that just means I can practice my act.

It was finally the night of the Fantasia parade and the crowds had gathered in the streets of Magnolia just to see it. Me and Oak was standing on our float as it rolled through town. It was painted white and had red stripes on it, but the best part was the massive pair of wooden dragon wings that were behind me.
My act was pretty simple, I created balls of white and red energy and threw the in the air, when they reached a certain height they would explode, acting as fireworks.
Then came my final act. I made another fireworks ball and focused a bunch of my magic energy into it. It's red and white color turn to blue, purple, and green. I looked to the sky and threw it.
(Y/n): AURORA BOREALIS!
It exploded and filled the sky with color. The crowd cheered at the sight and I smiled. As I looked into the crowed of people I noticed someone suspicious. A man wearing a black cloak was standing at the back of the crowed of with his hood covering his face. As he realized I was staring at him, he gave me a toothy grin. I blinked for a second and the next he was gone. I was probably seeing thing but that guy seemed so real.
Oak: you ok, (y/n)?
(Y/n): huh? Oh, y-yeah I'm fine.
I focused my attention back to the parade, but couldn't help but feel uneasy.
(Y/n): Who was that guy?
