i once had an eye contact
with a stranger while walking on
the busy streets of a huge city
and i also remember
bumping my shoulders
into unfamiliar bodies
but i still wonder one thing—
who among these people
are living with sadness
in their hearts
and is near giving up?
i don't think i'll ever find the answer to that
but i always try to smile
hoping it could save their lives.
