Ariella's pov
"This soda isnt right." I mumbled as i took another sip.
"Really?" Oscar groaned.
"What?" I look at him as he continued to drive.
"You had a gun to your head and was going to let Gia kill you and you're worried about coke?" He scoffed.
"Well first of all its pepsi. Get your facts straight." I snapped as i put his drink back.
"Oh cause that really matters right now?" He rolled his eyes.
"Yes it does because this shit doesnt taste good. Killed my whole mood." I frowned.
"Well asshole you ordered a lemonade not pepsi." He said.
"But i drank all of my lemonade."
"Yeah i dont give a fuck." He laughed then took a sip of his coke.
"Ariella."
"Hmm?" I mumbled as i looked at him.
"I know you didnt just drink all my shit."
I just laughed to myself and nodded my head. "But i did."
After the whole situation with Cuchillos' daughter going crazy and trying to kill me for sleeping with Rio has created a lot of tension.
We were able to cover it up. Hopefully Cuchillos wont press the issue so we can spare her life for the time being.
Rio has been around a lot more since the incident as we came up with a plan of what to do with Cuchillos We weren't stupid. Oscar is especially worried about Cuchillos finding out we killed her. It wasn't a matter of if she ever finds out but when she does.
I will say, in a fucked up way, Gia's death brought Oscar and I closer.
I havent forgotten about him sacrificing himself so I could live. Or the fact that he admitted he loved me.
I didnt know how to feel about us hanging out again.
We havent talked about much about where we stand right now.
Oscar's phone ringing pulled me out of my thoughts.
I noticed Leslie's name pop up but i didnt say anything.
"So how are things with Leslie?"
"Just fuck buddies." he gave me a short answer.
"Thats cool."
"Is it?" he stopped looking at the road to see my face. He wanted to see if my expressions matched my words.
"Yeah why wouldn't it?"
"Forget about it." he shrugged it off. "You and Rio?"
"We're engaged,"
Oscar slammed on the breaks to look at me.
"Ow Oscar!" I clenched at my stomach from the bruising Gia caused.
"Are you fucking with me?"
"Obviously!" I laughed. "We're a one and done situation."
"Okay good."
"Why? You have a crush on Rio or somethin?" i teased Oscar.
"No, Rio and I are homies. But if he touches you again I'll kill him and leave him with Gia." he continued to drive.
"Doesn't feel good does it?" i bit my lip to stop myself from saying anything more.
"No. It feels terrible." He grumbled as he pulled into the driveway of his place.
He looked back at me again.
"Im sorry, Ariella."
"Its fine." i said as i stepped out of the car.
Rio was already here with the rest of the Santos inside the house.

One day i was chillin at Oscar's house when Nova came over.
"Hey girl." Nova smiles.

"Hey Nova. Where have you been?" I question.
I havent seen this girl in a minute.
"I went back to Arizona because i had to take care of my sister but im back." She smiled as she look looked at Malina who i was holding.
"She has gotten so big." She said as we just watched her sleep.
"I know." I smiled then we heard Oscar come in from his room.
"Hey Oscar." Nova smiles.
"Oh shit hey Nova... when did you come back?" Oscar questioned as he looked at me then at Nova.
"Last night." She answered.
"Ariella can you watch Malina? I got some shit to do." Oscar asks as he walked up to me and Malina.
"Like what?" I raise my brow as he kissed her cheek.
"I got a few job interviews." Oscar smiled as he fixed his button up shirt. He looked so good.
Thats my best friend... (i already know yall gonna say some shit😂😂 let it out)
Nova just laughed. "Job interviews? Really?" He said and Oscar's smile disappeared.
"Well.. yeah. I want to start working." Oscar said and now i was frowning.
Everyone has been laughing at Oscar for trying to get a job even because he has two strikes.
Nobody has faith in him. But i did.
"Well im gonna go now." Oscar said before walking out to his car.
"I'll be back." I say to Nova as Malina and i walk outside to walk over to Oscar.
"What are you doing?" Oscar questioned.
"You forgot your keys." I say as i held them out to him.
"Oh. Thanks." He sighed as he took them.
"You are going to do great." I smile as he just stepped closer to me and Malina.
"You're just saying that to be nice. We both know that nobody is gonna wanna hire a low life cholo." He pouted at me.
"Not with that attitude." I put my free hand on my hip and the other one holding Malina who was now awake.
"I have faith in you. But you need to have the mind set." I say as he nodded his head.
He then kissed my cheek and looked over at Malina. "Wish daddy good lucky mamas." Oscar said in his adorable baby voice which made Malina smile at her dad.
"I love my girls." He said as looked at us.
"Yeah we know. We love you too. Now go kick ass at those interviews." I say as i kiss his cheek before he walked over to his car.
