**in the morning**
Key'launi's POV: I woke up to my annoying ass alarm clock. I turned over and realized Alexis fell asleep on my bed. I got up and went to the bathroom to go take a shower, brush my teeth and do my other morning routine things. Then I went into my closet and picked out what I was gonna where today its pretty hot in LA because its still September so I put on some black shorts, and white crop top, and white and black Jordan's Alicia bought me couple days before the accident (outfit at the top). My hair was in beach curls with a black bandana and Mac lipgloss. I went back to my bed and woke up Alexis.
"Alexis........babe wake up" I said
"Ahhhhhhhhh" Alexis somewhat said
"Get the fuck up before I drag you out this damn bed" I said
"Whhhyyyyy!?!?!?!" Alexis whined
"Because you have to be at school in 30 mins" I said
"Fine damn" Alexis said
When I was done arguing with Alexis I went to my phone and looked at my notifications I have 6 new Instagram followers 42 likes and 12 comments. I looked at my messages and I have 2 new messages from Roc.

I went into my closet and got my backpack and went into Alexis room and saw that she was fully dressed in a red and white crop top, red leggings, white shoes, and to top it off a spray painted snapback.
"Ooooo someone's lookin cute" I said smirking
"You know how I do" Alexis said brushing her shoulders off
"You got everything" I said
"Yes" Alexis said
"iight lets gooo" I said walking out the door.
Alexis and I walked out of the house and got in my car even though it was a nice day outside it was still way too damn hot to be walking 7 miles to school. When Alexis and I got into the car the radio was on and Lifestyle was playing so I blasted the radio.

I smashed on the breaks and slowly turned to look at Alexis
"What the hell did you just say" I said
"I'm not a music lover" Alexis said
"Get the fuck out outta my car" I said
"What why" Alexis yelled
"Because you don't like music" I yelled back
"I do like music I just don't love it as much as you do" Alexis said
"Still... get the hell outta my car" I said
"Why" Alexis screamed starting to cry
"Why the fuck is you crying" I said laughing
"Because your kicking me out of your car when we are in the middle of no where" Alexis said still crying
"bitch turn around" I said pointing out the window revealing her school
"Oh" Alexis said trying not to reveal her embarrassment
"You big baby get the fuck out of my car" I said
"Bye Key" Alexis said grabbing her backpack
"Bye Lil bitch" I said driving off
While I was in my car I noticed my LED light on my phone flashing. I picked it up and saw Chresanto texted me.
iMessage:
"hey babygirl where are you class starts in 30 mins and I still have a surprise for you"
I answered back saying I would be there in 10 mins. I stopped at MickeyDs and got 3 hash browns and an orange juice. Then finally drove to the school. When I got out of my car I walked into school and I could feel all eyes on me and I didn't like it. I just kept walking and I finally reached my locker. I opened my locker and someone came behind me and put their arms around my waist. It was Chresanto
"Hey baby girl" Chresanto said
"Hey love" I said hugging Chresanto
"You look sexy today" Chresanto said
"Thanks baby" I said
"Oh I forgot your surprise come on" Chresanto said pulling me and closing my locker with my orange juice in my hand.
"Where are we going" I said being dragged
"Don't worry bout it Chresanto said laughing and walking through the doors
"Um why are we out here" I said chuckling
"Because" Chresanto said smirking at me and getting closer
"Because why" I said backing up and becoming a little scared
"Because our little altercation wasn't finished" Chresanto said grabbing my hair and kneeing me in my stomach. I screamed from the pain and Chresanto slapped me. Then EJ, Rayan, and Jacob came from behind the school and tied my arms behind my back and tied my feet together and threw me on the ground and attacked me. EJ punched me in my stomach, Jacob picked me up and threw me against the brick wall, Rayan took my orange juice and dumped all over me, and Chresanto took my wrist and snapped it in half and I screamed bloody murder while the boys exited in happiness. I was crying so hard and I looked at my wrist it was black, blue, and swollen. I couldn't move because my arms and legs were tied. So I just sat there and cried then I heard someone try to get my attention
"Hey are you ok" the anonymous person said
I didn't even bother to look up I didn't want the person to see the shame and embarrassment on my face.
"Um hello" the person said kneeling down to be on my level
"Hello" the person said tapping on my arm. I looked up and saw a caramel boy about my age with long curly hair hazel eyes and dimples
"Are you ok" he asked me
"No" I said crying even harder
"What happened" He asked me
"I....got....jumped" I said in between breaths
"By who" the boy said putting my hair behind my ear
"4 boys" I said putting my head down
"What happened to your wrist" He asked me
"One of the boys snapped it in half" I responded
"Oh damn do you wanna go to the hospital" he asked untying the ropes
"Please" I said weakly
"OK come on" he said putting his hand out
I hesitated at first but then he said something that put me at ease
"Don't worry I won't hurt you I promise" he said
I grabbed his hand and we walked to his black Range Rover. He opened the door for me and I got in the passenger seat and I put my seatbelt on then he got in.
"Oh and by the way my name is Christian " Christian said
"My name is Key'launi but you can call me Key" I said looking at him
"Key'launi that's a really pretty name" Trey said
"Thank you I always hated it" I said
"Why" Christian said
"Because it's so foreign" I said
"But still its very pretty" Christian said
"Are you just saying that to make me feel better" I said
"Yes" Chrsitian said
I laughed
"Well it worked" I said
