Well...
The story continues...
It seemed a miraculous occurrence--fairies and elves all over the place. Would my presence be going to disturb them?
What could the fae want from me?
I had heard that if you left them your tributes, the whispers of fae might bring you your answers...
So, I did,...
But first, I asked the dragonfly what I should give them...
And he said my love of their world was really enough...
So, I went back through the hole in the woods, to my side...
...Where winter most winterly was...
And, I wrote some more stories from hole in the woods...
And then, I finally wondered...
I knew my world was a privileged one—
Should I tell anyone?
So, back I went through the hole, and I asked them ...
If they did want me to, should I take the world some pictures...?
And we sat and they pondered ...
And at last, they said...
...unreservedly, yes!
The humans who 'know'... believe in the fairies and all they are doing for nature--
...and nature is real to the humans!
The sprites and the elves live sight-unseen, amongst their high frequency spectrum...
...but you can always find traces left in the physical realm...
They're happy to leave you the proof...
And folks who visit here, can make their requests...

Oh! ... you still want to know...
How did they find a way they could tell me...?
I'll show you right now, if you want...
How did I know...?
I sat by the pond... and I took some more pictures...
... just the way that they bade me to do ...
The morning was calm. The breezes had stopped.
There I was, waiting for answers--
I sat still in reverence, full of hope in my heart...
...and as I lost time, I glanced through the shots that I had now on my camera...
... and then, I suddenly stopped!
The answer was plain... Joy welled up in my eyes...
The whole time I'd been there, the faerie was with me...
Of course she sat with me while I waited! She has always been here!
Is the chance of finding the hole in the woods worth spending all of my time in nature?
Hmmm... I'd say heartily YES...
Fairies are real, to those who bring reverence! They're only too happy to help...
(Perhaps you could bring them some tributes...)
I know that they'll give you their answers, in their own best natural way...
