"Oh my god Nate!"
"Where's Dan?"
"Nate... actually you're the first person I've told this but..."
"What is it Serena, you know you can tell me anything, right?"
"We're getting a divorce."
I sobbed and Nate held me tightly.
"It'll be ok Serena, it'll be ok."
2 YEARS AGO
"Serena!" Nate exclaimed.
"It's been what? A year?" I asked.
"I heard you're pregnant!" Congrats!"
I started to cry.
"What's wrong Serena?" he asked.
"Nate... other than Dan... actually you're the first person I've told this but..."
"What is it Serena, you know you can tell me anything, right?"
"I had a miscarriage."
I sobbed and Nate hugged me tightly.
"It'll be ok Serena, it'll be ok."
"He's gone."

"We were having a boy."
"Oh Serena..."
"We were gonna name him Ryan."

BACK TO PRESENT 
"He's gone, he's with her again." I cried.
"Her?"

"I feel such déjà vu right now."

"S.... where are you??"
"Ran into Nate..."
"Oooooh."
"Shut up! Technically I'm still married."
"Well Nate... Blair's waiting and..."
"How long are you gonna be in town?"
"A while."
"Let's have lunch, before you leave."
"Of course."

I arrived to Blair's room.
"Oh my god, Serena!"
She pulled me into a tight hug.
"Hey, Serena's here!" Chuck smiled.
"It's good to see you Chuck, my brotha from another motha."
"Always a pleasure Serena, and Lily is my mother, even though we don't share blood."
Chuck hugged me too.
"AUNT SERENA! AUNT SERENA!" Henry and Celeste exclaimed.
"Hey kiddos!" she responded.
"Henry! Celeste! It's past your bedtime!" Blair yelled.
"But mommy! Aunt Serena is here!" They complained.
"I know, but she's going to bed too, right Aunt Serena."
"Yeah it's past my bedtime, but I promise we'll have fun tomorrow my favorite niece and nephew."
"Ok... goodnight Aunt Serena."
"Goodnight Henry and Celeste."
"Well that's what having two kids is like." Chuck laughed.
"Um Chuck, could you maybe, give us a minute."
"That's all I needed, Blair I'll see you in a bit and Serena I'll see you tomorrow, sista from another mista."
Then Serena told Blair everything.
"I'm sorry Serena."
I sobbed uncontrollably.
"My whole marriage down the toilet."
"Well what about Nate?"
"What about Nate?"
"Come on, he's been single since your wedding day and don't pretend like you haven't noticed."
"Blair."
"Serena..."
"Blair!"
"You can't deny the spark Serena."
"Thanks for the ice cream B." Serena laughed.
"Of course, lets get you settled into my guest room."
"You're the best best friend a girl could ever hope for."
"You too. Now we just need to find you your perfect husband, cough cough Nate Archibald."
"Blair! I'm still married."
" Oh please, Dan was just a phase, you and Nate... now you two were made for each other, that can't be denied."
"Goodnight Blair."
"Alright, I can take a hint, goodnight Serena."
And even though I knew it was wrong, I couldn't help but think about Nat as I fell asleep. Looks like Blair Waldorf might be right about love, yet again.
