All the members of Oberoi Mansion looked on worriedly as Anika sat silently on the pulsh sofa,with her gaze fixed on the main door. No matter how hard any of them tried she won't just speak and the worried members now turned their gaze towards Shivanya trying to know what caused their beloved Anika's this condition.
"Shivanya di" Shivika spoke timidly noticing their gazes on her
"What,where is she?? Why didn't you bring her with you.How is she?? How is my bacchi" were the various questions that greeted her, making it more hard for her to utter the next series of words
"I don't know....She fainted and he took her away" she replied to them sadly remembering the scene that took place before her
"Who took her away???" All of them yelled simultaneously at her, scaring her.
"I don't know, he seemed to be her friend" she informed them sorrily,she was as clueless as them on the guys identity.
She watched as slowly despair surrounded each and every member of OM as all of them seemed lost in their memories of the girl, they have knowingly lost.
Shivika was thinking about her past with the timid elder sister she had always known versus the strong sister she had known just before losing her forever to some unknown strangers. She thought bitterly thinking about the guy who disappeared with her sister. She remembered every wrong she had done with her sister and every right her sister had done for her.
A 3 year old Shivika was captivated by her mother's favourite vase and the flowers in it. She didn't knew why it was her mother's favourite but she just knew that she liked those pretty things very much. So with mischeif and curiosity shinning in her eyes she tried to climbed the table on which the vase was placed.
She couldn't climb the table and by the continues shaking the vase had come tumbling down and crashed into the hard marble floor breaking in million pieces with a loud sound.
Shivanya was the first one to come to the room drawn by the loud sound of crash. She looked shocked as she stared at the fallen object and her crying sister. Anika was the next to come in the room and engulf Shivika in a tight hug trying to pacify the crying child before her eyes fell on the broken vase and rage engulf her whole being as she all but shouted at them asking her "Who broke the vase"
Terrified the little girl blamed her elder sister and even when the elder girl tried to deny the false accusations placed on her. The enraged mother didn't hear anything and for the first time in her life a six year old Shivanya was punished without any fault.
And slowly the other children realized as long as Shivanya was on the site of crime and blamed by them. Their parents didn't need any other proof to punish her. They didn't ever heard her side of story so she stopped trying to justify her. They watched as she was never called to eat with the family instead her food was delivered in her room where she ate alone.
Her interaction with the family were minimum and no one from the family ever went to meet her teachers on Parent teacher meetings. The family never showed any interest on her and so the children also started ignoring her and didn't felt it was important to tell their parents about how badly she was being bullied in the school.
So, they also turned a blind eye on her misery. Shivika thought with a wave of shame engulfing her as she remembered the day when she had slapped her elder sister in front of her crush and still she did everything she did for her.
She still remember the day it all changed, the day she lost her guardian angel forever.
14 year old Shivika was really exited to go to the party at her best friend's crush's place and everyone from the school was going to be there and Shivanya didn't want her to go there. She was really irritated with her sister and left the house even after being told by her many times to not go. Yet being the stubborn teenager she was she went and got herself in trouble and a situation she could never forget. Everything was going fine until few older guys started molesting her and if it wasn't for Shivanya's perfectly times entry she didn't want to imagine what would have happened with her. Shivanya stood guard in front of her bearing all the hits thrown her way as she tried to get her out of their safely only to come face to face with her father's enemies totally equipped to hurt them and hurt them bad. Her sister hold her hand tightly and ran towards their XUV with her and started racing away from them. She remembered them trying to turn over their XUV as they hit against them and the scream of fright that escaped her throats with the whole situation. The last thing she remembered was her head hitting the dashboard hard as pain and darkness engulfed her whole
being.
The next thing she knew, she was in a hospital surrounded by her worried family members expect the one she wanted to meet. She was told that she was unconscious for 3 days by her teary mother. Everyday some or other family member come to visit her but she didn't come even once, upset and highly guilty. She finally gathered her guts to ask her mother about her.
"Mumma, di kaha h??" She asked her timidly waiting for the bomb to go of.
"Why are you asking about her Shivi?? We know she took you to that party and is the reason you're in so much pain. Don't worry beta,mom and dad won't ever forgive her for your this condition" Anika told her in a promising voice while Shivika shook her head hearing her mother's decision
"No...No...No mom, youre getting it all wrong" she told her mom while shaking her head as a occean of guilt started drowning her.
"What beta" Anika asked Shivika totally confused by her action. She thought she would be happy knowing her culprit was punished but her action seemed the total opposite of what they thought.
A distraught Shivika told Anika about the truth, knowing the entire truth Anika sent a disappointed look to Shivika and asked someone to call Shivanya to the hospital.
After hours of wait when Shivanya didn't reach hospital. Anika again called to know what happened and got to know that Shivanya couldnt be found. A mass search of Shivanya started in the whole city which intensified after few days when her parents met a lady in the hospital.
She had seen how something broke in her parents after meeting that lady. She had seen her dad cry in her elder sister's room holding her photo close to his chest. She had seen her dad going crazy asking one after one private detective about her sister's whereabouts but as always got no information on her.
She had seen her mom sit in her sister's room for hours looking around totally lost as if she was expecting her sister to come out from the closet or from under the bed, yelling boo in her ears and then breaking in fits of laughter as she told her mom that she couldn't find her but nothing like that happened and her mom like her dad cried, hugging an old doll.
And then their was the great Shivansh Kapoor who suddenly entered their life and kept on taunting her parents. She wasn't aware of the past, she wasn't aware what happened or what her parents got to know that broke them like this. She just wish that her family to be together again, for her Shivanya di to return.
She watched as her father hastily walked towards her mother and cupped her face asking her "what happened Anika"
"She was right Shivaaye, we ourself broke our family. We destroyed our own family Shivaaye" her mother whispered softly and sadly as she looked at her father with accusation filled eyes
Her father closed his eyes as if he could read what was going in her mother's head or it was because of regret. She just couldn't tell
"Svetlana was right" she heard her mother scream with so much anguish that it surprised her. she didn't know who is this Svetlana person but from her mother's eyes she could tell her mother loathed Svetlana. She watched as tears leaked her mother's eyes as she looked blankly all around her.
In Anika's mind today's happenings were playing like a clip showing how much her own daughter was terrified of her along with that boy and Ansh's harsh words
"You weren't there for her from past six years I was. So don't act as you care now when you actually don't."
"You were her mother too and she was always here. What good it did to her???"
Her family was totally torn up because of one incident, her elder daughter was terrified of her, her son loathed her, her other daughter was all she have. She failed as a mother, she failed them. She couldn't be a good mother. She become a person she never wanted to be and it cost her, her two children.
Will they ever want her again?? Will Shivanya ever call her ma with her wide innocent eyes full of warmth and love for her?? Will Ansh ever think of her as his mother?? Will Shivanya ever let her embrace her again??
All this questions were running through her mind.
In the hotel,
Anya was wrapped in Viaan's arms as a comfortable silence had engulfed them. Her head was resting on his chest and his heartbeats were like a soothing melody to her tensed nerves. He didn't ask her any question, he just invested all his energy in calming and comforting her. Letting it be her and only her decision wether she wanted to share the cause of her misery with him or not.
And that was one of the reason she fell for this man and fell so hard. Even when he considered her his enemy he didn't back out from providing her silent company during the sleepless nights.
He would just sit with her through out the night or will demand some ridiculous stuff like ice cream or cake in midnight from her or will start fighting with her on most ridiculous topics to divert her attention. Even though he hated her but he just couldn't bear to watch her in misery. She fell for the golden heart hidden behind layers and layers of the selfish, hothead facade he so loves to wear everyday.
"Water" she asked softly, snuggling more closer to him as he loosened his hold on her, to provide her a glass of water.
"Thank you" she whispered to him smiling after gulping down the water
He smiled back at her as he looked at her with warm eyes and tucked the loose strand of hair behind her ear
"Done with the waterworks" he asked her teasingly as he pulled her cheeks lightly.
She just made a face at his direction, forcing him down fits of laughter when someone knocked on the door.
"Must be Savvy and Ro, you scared both of them with your fainting escapade" Viaan informed her in a light tone but she could easily read the worry in his eyes.
"I don't know what happened with me there I guess I wasn't ready to meet them, yet." She said softly as she got down of the bed and walked towards the door so she could reassure Savvy and Ro that she was totally fine and also to avoid Viaan's answer to her this statement.
She opened the door expecting Ro and Savvy but gasped in shock watching the person standing in front of her.
"Dad" she whispered in a voice full of disbelief and horror.
