I woke up. I looked around me; I couldn't remember actually falling asleep. I looked down at my white and grey bed sheets to see dots of dried blood spotted across the fabric. I lifted my hand up to my face and squinted at it. It was smudge in dried blood, but there was no longer a wound there in inspect. I sighed and lifted my head up from the very comfortable pillow, and yawned. I looked to the small bed side table to see a digital alarm clock, I squinted at that as well, and the bright red numbers hurt my eyes.

"Eight, thirty?" I questioned myself. I grounded, and pushed myself out of the bed. My feet padded across the plush floor. I rubbed my eyes, as I heard multiple mental voices, coming from the other side of my door.

"Hank said Liberty woke up last night, is that true?" the voice belonged to Scott Summers. I sighed and walked over to the long mirror located near a door, I guess which led to the bathroom. I looked at myself. Even though I was immortal and ever youthful, it didn't stop bag forming underneath my eyes, it didn't help shed the awful blood shot eyes I seemed to have adopted. I groaned at myself. I looked bloody awful.

I tugged open the door, to reveal what I had earlier thought. It was of coarse a bathroom. I stepped from the plush carpeted floor onto the cold tiles. I inwardly shivered at the temperature difference. In the corner of the room stood a mirror and a sink, lined with toiletries. In the opposite corner stood a cylindrical shower unit, and in the middle of the room stood a large standalone bath. I slipped the straps off my shoulders allowing the dress to fall from my body and pool at my ankles. I walked briskly over to the shower (The cold is not a naked person's friend). I closed the door behind me, and looked at the shower, there was one handle. I pushed it over to the right, making the dial enter the red portion of the switch, I guess that meant hot. Then I pulled it towards me, making hot water pour from the square shower head.

I gave a gasp; it was very pleasant to finally have a shower. Fair enough I would never need a shower for the rest of my life but I just loved the feeling of the water ricocheting off my skin. I ran a hand through my smooth straight hair, which now reached the small of my back. I sighed and looked at the small shower shelf to see three bottles, each labeled plainly, "Shampoo, conditioner, body wash." I quickly grabbed the shampoo and rubbed it thoroughly into my scalp and hair. I pushed my scalp underneath the burning hot water, and let the shampoo pour out from my hair; I dragged my hands over my hair pulling any excess water from it. I grabbed the conditioner and masked my hair in it. I gently rubbed the body wash over my body creating a thick lather before it slid off my skin. I sighed as the last of the conditioner moved out of my hair leaving it soft and silky.

I pushed the tape back towards the wall turning off the shower. I pulled open the shower door to see two plush white towels resting on a heated rack. I pulled one off and wrapped it around my body. I walked over to the bathroom mirror, and looked at the toiletries, and saw a plain white tooth brush. I put a small amount of toothpaste on the bristles and began to viciously brush my teeth. I opened my mouth wide trying to see if I had missed anything, only to see foam. I spat it into the sink and drank some water from the tap.

The minty taste stayed even though my mouth was now free of toothpaste foam. I saw only white teeth, as I grinned wildly at myself. Which I found strange when I met my own gaze. I pulled away from my reflection and padded into my room.

"Good mornin," shit! My foot slipped off the edge of the tiled bathroom floor, causing my spine and head to slam onto the hard tiled bathroom floor. I felt the crack and I could feel the blood trickle from the back of my head.

"Oh shit!" that's exactly what I thought. I groaned as I was quickly pulled up from the floor. Being half god does not save me from concussion. I felt slightly nauseous as I looked up at Logan. I could feel the back of my head quickly knit itself back together as Logan held the tops of my arms in his feverously heated hands.

"Liberty are you ok?" Oh Jesus, I blinked my eyes a few times, for some strange reason Logan's voice was coming to me after a three second delay.

"I'm fine Logan." Soon the nauseous feeling disappeared, and so did the lag. I then remembered something very important. Firstly I was stood in a towel, and secondly...

"What the Fuck Logan?!" I shouted, I wanted him to know I was angry. Coming into my room, without permission? Couldn't he have just knocked? I shrugged Logan's hands off the tops of my arms. I slammed the bathroom door in his face, causing his bewildered eyes to grow larger.

"I'm sorry Liberty, I didn't know if you were awake or not, you know from your coma?" I pressed my slowly healing bruised spine against the door. I sighed as Logan did. I don't think he was all too impressed with himself.

I dropped my towel from my body, slowly revealing, a dark green shirt with a black under bust corset, tucking in my waist. I watched as black material clung to my legs in the form of skinny jeans, and Victorian leather riding boots. I looked down at my body to make sure I was suitable enough. I looked down my shirt, and pulled the side of my jeans down to check I had missed something. I hadn't.

I harshly pulled open the door to see Logan standing in the middle of the room. He looked at me, he was wearing black button up shirt, black boots and dark blue jeans. Between his long canines sat an unlit cigar.

"You ok Liberty?" I nodded, and brushed myself down. He nodded and gave me a small smile.

"Sorry for barging in like that." I nodded and walked over to Logan. He gave him a soft smile, as pushed a piece of hair behind my ear.

"How are you feeling Liberty?" it was awkward, as we stood there toe to toe. I shrugged, and gave a small sighed.

"I'm fine Logan." He nodded. I know he wasn't much for the emotional involvement thing. He had probably seen to many people die, to bother with new friendships.

He walked out of my room in silence. I sat down on the edge of my bed. But I could see where Logan was coming from. I had seen to many people hurt to get emotionally attached. I rubbed my hands over my face, and ventured back over to the long mirror. I pulled my hands through my hair drying it and instantly bringing it back to its usually back length sleekness. I sighed and looked at my eyes in the mirror. I watched a winged eye liner appeared on my eyelids along with silver eye shadow. Rubbed my lips together allowing a deep pink colour to spread over the already dark pink flesh. I sighed, and conjured my phone and earphones.

I pushed each earphone into ear and played a new favorite. "Blue jeans by Lana Del Ray." I pushed open my room door and walked down the buzzing corridors. The majority of the students had only just woken up. Some of them wandered the halls clad in pajamas yawning as they shuffled. I walked towards the large dining room to see students, teacher and mentors talking, but that all stopped when I entered the room.

Then the mental barrage came towards me. I looked around at the staring eyes. This was too awkward; I robotically turned away from the dining hall entrance and made my way outside.

All I could say was wow. That was awful. I groaned and kicked the gravel up underneath my feet. I wasn't social enough to make any sort of head way here. I didn't know where I was going I was just walking to the beat of the new song. "Hero by Pegboard Nerds." Then I heard someone's mind.

"Where is she?" I looked around me to see Eric standing on the doorstep of the school. I didn't know what to do, so I decided to make a socially awkward gesture. I have him a single nonchalant wave. He quickly walked over to me, as I pulled my earphones from my ears. As I stood there waiting for him, I looked up at the sky. Like any other autumn day the sky was dark grey ready to unleash a storm or a torrent of rain. I looked forward to see Eric Lehnsherr. His shock of grey and white hair was tousled yet neat, he stood there in dark grey dress pants and a light blue shirt.

"What is it Eric?" I asked, he nodded and looked at me with his piercing blue eyes. His face held a serious expression.

"I was wondering why you decided not to join us for breakfast." I wrapped my arms around myself and, bit into my bottom lip.

"Everyone staring at me, wasn't an exactly an inviting atmosphere." He nodded; I realized that I may have been chewing my lips more than biting it, as I began to taste the familiar coppery liquid.

"you should join us in the dining room liberty, you haven't ate anything in seven days." I looked up at him with a raised eyes brow. Was he pretending to care? I wasn't exactly fond of people doing that.

"Please don't pretend to care, I don't have the most pleasant of attitudes towards people who do that." The only example I have to use for that is James, and both I and Loki know what happened to him and the majority of MI6.

Then something happened. Eric reached out and grasped my chin gently between his thumb and my forefinger. His thumb gently trailed across my bottom lips. The gesture was gentle and sincere. He slowly slipped his flingers off my chin to reveal his thumb covered in my blood. I didn't even feel it heal up, but I knew the bleeding had stopped as the copper taste had dulled.

"I don't pretend to care. I do care Liberty." He rubbed his thumb and forefinger together causing the blood to spread and dry quickly, coming off his fingertips in flakes.

He turned his back toward me, and began to walk towards the manor. He then stopped and looked over his shoulder.

"Aren't you going to join me Liberty?" I nodded and walked towards him. I stood at his side as we both looked at the house. We both started to walk again; we didn't say a single word as we entered the house and welcomed the unwelcome stares.
