Chapter 17
~Mall~
We got to the mall and walked I to the dress store I was looking through the dresses and I found this dress it was white and it was knee length and it had diamonds and it was with straps it was perfect
"Jakki look" I said holding the dress up
"Omg that's perfect I wish Tayla was here to bad her mom is making her go dress shopping with her"
"Ya I wish she was here to but should I try this dress on"
"Yes you should"
I walked into the dressing room and I put the dress on and i looked at the dress in the mirror it was perfect I loved it and then I walked out and Jakki's eyes grew wide and she put her hands on her mouth
"So what do you think"
"It's perfect you should get it"
"Ok" I smiled
After we payed for our dresses we went to the shoes store Jakki's dress was like mine but in a blue color and it was gorgeous on her once we got to the store I was looking for high heels
"what about these" Jakki said showing me these black heels she found
"That's perfect for your dress" she smiled and nodded
"I can't find anything"
"But I did"
I looked up and saw her holding the perfect shoes they were opened toe shoes and they were white and gorgeous
"There perfect"
"There your size and the last one"
I tried them on and they were comfortable so I bought them and after me and Jakki walked to her car and she took me home

"Bye J see you tomorrow"
"Bye B and oh text me"
"Ok I will" I just the door and went up my drive way to my front door
"I'm home" I said and shut the door
I went in my room and I put my stuff in my closet and I went to the kitchen down stairs and I saw my brother and Jacob arguing and my brother was on top of Jacob and they were fist fighting and I ran and broke them up and my brother looked at me and grabbed his keys form the table and slammed the front door
"Hey you ok" I asked and Jacob nodded his head
"Ya I'm fine"
"Come on let's go to the bathroom so i can clean you cuts"
We walked to bathroom and I grabbed the first aid kit and started cleaning his cuts
"Stop moving you face"
"Well it stings"
"Ok I'm finished"
"So was this fight because of me" he was silent
"Im sorry i didn't mean to come you and my brother'a relationship I ruined everything my friendship with my brother yours" I said and I looked down and Jacob put his fingers under my chin and lifted it
"Hey look at me you didn't ruin nothing I fact you are the best thing that has ever happened to me" I looked at him and I just kissed him
"No guy that I have dated ever told me that"
"Well I'm known for my good charms"
"Your so conceded"
"Maybe just a little"
"Ya" I started laughing and he joined in and he pecked my lips and hugged me and we heard the door open up and we pulled away from the hug and I saw my brother coming up the stairs and me and my brother looked at each other and then he looked away and walked into the room and I looked back at Jacob
"Don't worry everything will be fine ok"
"I hope so"
"Are you ready too cheer for the football game"
"Ya but are u ready to play"
"Ya I hope we win"
"Ya me too"
~Friday (the day of the football game)~
So it's Friday and this whole week my brother hasn't talked to me but me and Jacob are fine and school was the same as always
"Heyyyyyy" Tayla said
"Hey you ready for our first football game"
"Ya I'm nervous tho"
"Why you have been doing this since you were little"
"I know but I always get nervous"
"Ya that's true but anyways is your brother talking to you"
"No I feel so bad for saying what I said he hates me now"
"No you said it in anger and you didn't mean it and he doesn't hate you"
"Ya he does he told me yesterday when I was trying to talk to him"
"I'm sorry"
"No it's fine"
~After school (football game)~
I fixed my hair again with my bow and I fixed my make up and I fixed my uniform and I grabbed my PomPoms and I walked out of the cheer locker room
"Hey babe" Jacob said
"Hi" and I pecked his lips
"Are you excited"
"Ya but I'm nervous"
"It's ok baby your my goodluck charm"
"And your my goodluck charm babe"
"Captain we are ready to go huddle" one of the cheerleaders said
"Ok I'm coming" and I turned to Jacob
"Bye babe goodluck" I said and and I kissed him
"Bye babe"
I ran to my team
"Ok guys you guys ready to cheer we are going out there as a team and we are going to have fun and we are going to cheer for our team and we are going out there as a family ok put your hand in"
We all put our hand in
"Cheetahs on 3 1...2...3"
"CHEETAHS!!!" We all said and our coach came up to us
"Ok you guy ready to go out there" coach said and we all nodded
"Ok well captain lead the team out there" she said looking at me and I nodded
And we all ran out there and everyone was cheering and then the our football team ran out and the game started
~30 minutes later~
It's 30 minutes into the game and it's almost half time we are winning 5-2 so that's good we have 5 minutes tell half time I'm excited to perform our new cheer.
~5 minutes later~
It's half time and we are about to go out
"Everyone I have an announcement to make" someone said through the speakers
"Will the captain of the varsity cheer team stand in the middle of football field" the speaker person said again
I walked to the middle of the field and stood there and I see Jacob walking towards me with a microphone in his hand
"Rebecca I knew you since you were in 1st grade you were with your pony tail and your pink backpack and your flower dress and that was the day met you and that was the day I fell in love with you and after the years past you got into ninth grade and and one day I screwed everything up and I lost the most important thing in my life my best friend and my crush and I was stupid enough not think about that and a month ago I got my best friend back I fell in love with you all over again just like I did when I first met you you bring joy to my life and when I'm around you I'm happy and all the stress and problems have gone away and I would do anything to be with you and that I can promise I know everyone thinks I'm a player and I'm a one night stand guy but the truth is yes I was but I loved Rebecca and I did all that stuff to try and stop loving and stop hurting myself because i couldn't have her but the truth is I can't stop loving her and I can't get her out of my mind and I don't want to and I don't want to be a player anymore and I don't want to live with the thought of not having you in my life you are my world I'm in love with you so much it hurts sometimes so Rebecca will you do me a favor and look at the big screen" I was in tears from his speech and I was in more tears when I looked at the screen it says in big letters
Rebecca Sanchez will you do me the honor and be my girlfriend and come to Prom with me?
I turned to Jacob and I nodded my head yes I couldn't speak I was in tears that is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me and I gave him a big hug and a kiss and everyone was cheering and Jacob handed me flowers and my team came towards me and Jacob walked back to his team and I ran and set my flowers down and I ran back into the field for my team half time show
"Now give it up for our varsity cheerleaders and once again congratulation varsity captain of the cheer team Rebecca" the announcer announced and I smiled
Once our music started we got into our stunts and my stunt group threw me up in the air and I did I flip and I landed in a Crattle and then my group set me down and I started doing flips and then we did our jumps and after that we did out dance/cheer chant
"Let's go cheetahs let's go let's go cheetah lets go...one we are the cheetahs ... Two a little louder... Three I can't hear you... Four cheetahs are the best we are going to kick your butts just like the rest go cheetahs" and we ran off the field and the game was starting again
"So you guys are an official couple" Jakki said
"Ya I'm happy"
"You see I told you that you guys will start dating" Jakki said
"Ya and I said that too but you were to stubborn to listen to us" Tayla said
"Ya but you guys love me anyways" I giggled and they joined me
"Ya we do" they both said
"I love you guys too" and we grouped hugged
~30 minutes later~
The buzzer went off and we won the game 10-7 I am so happy I ran into Jacobs arms and he picked me up and I kissed him and he set me down and I gave him a hug
"Good job babe you did amazing"
"Thank you my love we you are my goodluck charm"
"And your mine" he pecked my lips
"You should go congratulate your brother"
"Ok ya I'm going to right now" he nodded
I started walking towards my brother I'm nervous talking to him I really am once I got there Tayla saw me and started walking away cuz she knows I'm going to talk to my brother
"Hey you did amazing out there I'm proud of you bro"
"I'm not your brother you may be blood but to me your not my sister" he pushed past me and tears were in my eyes he said it with so much hate it hurt me so much I wish that I never had said what I said to him during the fight
I ran to my dads car he said I can borrow it while he's gone and u got in and drove home I'm not going to go to the football after party
