Azami Pov
As the week went by me and (y/n) became closer and closer
I'm normally carefree and careless but I feel like something is up..... I don't know what it is but I get a bad feeling when Amaya is around.... it's probably all just in my head.
"Hey Azami! You didn't have to wait for me, If you keep on doing that I'm gonna end up making you late as well" (y/n) said coming up behind me
We walk to school together everyday, it's no secret that ever since I started walking with her I was later to school than usual but that doesn't bother me.
"Hey... Azami? D-do you think that maybe someone's watching us?" (Y/n) asked which made me really suspicious
So I wasn't the one who thought that....
(Y/n) pov
When we got to class (idk what highschool is like) I starting scrolling through instagram when a girl with auburn hair and brown eyes so dark it looked like black and you couldn't tell where her pupil was
"Hey! You're (y/n) right? I thought I'd get to know you since Amaya is so obsessed with y-" she got cut off mid sentence when she was elbowed in the stomach
"Shut up Eika...." Amaya said now beside her in a dark tone. The girl, Eika, gulped then nervously smiled
"Sorry for stealing your girl~" she said then hastily skipped away semi casually as if she knew Amaya was gonna chase her but didn't want to cause to much attenton by running
"Sorry about her, she just lies. I don't like you. Well, I do but like not that way, you know what I mean?" She said looking where Eika left as if calculating wether to chase her or not
I laughed and said jokingly
"Just make sure not to kill her later"
She smiled sweetly and started up a conversation with me
After 10 minutes she asked me a question I wasn't expecting since it was total off subject to what we where talking about
"What do you think of me?"
"Nani?" I couldn't help but say, wondering why she asked that
"What do you think of me?" She said again as if I didn't hear the first time
"Well, you seem nice, like a person I would like to get to know better."
"And that's not just because I'm popular?"
"No. That has nothing to do with it" after I said that she looked satisfied with that answer
"No one.... no one has ever said that before... they all just like me because of my place and hope to get popularity and riches in return for my friendship, well, everyone except Chiyo, Eika and you" she said in a softer and vulnerable voice than before
I didn't know how to reply since I'm not good with touchy-feely convos so I just smiled sweetly at her
She looked back up from the floor and we locked eyes. I never realised how beautiful her grey eyes where, the colour was dull and liflesss but they held so much emotion.
"Well what did I say, Amaya is obsessed with you" a voice cuts off the moment me and Amaya where having and I didn't even realising I was staring so I looked away and blushed. Amaya growled at he voice and said
"Eika, shut up!"
"Sure, sure, whatever ya want Queen~" and went back to her des while Chiyo was snickering
Unknown: you done talking to Amaya so now I can talk to you?
(Y/n): who are you?!
Unkown: Azami! Your mother gave me your number~
(Y/n): oh, okay. Wait, what do you mean?
Unknown: bruh, I'm sitting right next to you, I'm back from the bathroom. I kept quiet so you and her could talk
I looked next to me and say Azami smiling and waving her phone with our conversation on it in messages. I mentally facelpalmed 'how could I forget about her?'
Amaya Pov
I feel attached to (y/n), like I can't leave her alone... but I had to, to scold Eika
"Omg what is wrong with you?!? I told you to not tell anyone!" I said to her in a harsh tone, regretting telling her I felt like I had feelings for (y/n)
"Eika-chan, you shouldn't expose Yuuka-san like that" Chiyo said to Eika
Eika just sighed and said "someones gotta tell her eventually"
I felt like smacking her with my text book then and there.
Time skip because I'm lazy af. Also, FYI, it's (y/n) pov now
I was late to my chemistry class because I took a bathroom break and took to long and now I was late.
I opened the door and everyones eyes landed on me, I felt so awkward standing there
"Miss (L/N), I won't tolerate you being late next time sit down" my teacher said with a stern look. I apologised and sat down at the only free desk.
"Hey, I'm Miyoko Osumi. Nice to meet you" the girl next to me said extending her hand for me to shake
She had short brown hair and dark eyes and a beautiful face
"(Y/n) (l/n)" I said shaking her hand.
Miyoko was a really nice person and made chemistry not so boring. Turns out I had her in a few other classes.
Time skip again, srry
"I know I'm hot, but seriously?" Azami was in the middle of telling me of when a guy had came up to her and desperately asked her to be his boyfriend and wouldn't stop even after asking her 10 times, she declined each time, When a voice cut her off saying
"U-um, can I join you?" A sweet and familiar voice said
I looked up and saw Miyoko
"Sure!" Azami said before I could
Again, That feeling of being watched came over me
I tried to ignore it as I talked with Miyoko and Azami
"Would you like to come over to my house to finish the homework? I mean y-you don't have to, but it'll be good if you said yes" Miyoko asked and I felt the aura shift as If someones gaze was burning into me and begging me to say no. I ignored it and said "yes, that would be wonderful".
Later in that day when I say Amaya around she had a dark expression on that was filled with rage, I didn't ask what was wrong because I didn't want to anger her. I wonder what happened
"Bye Azumi!" Me and Miyoko waved bye to Azami as we drew closer to Miyoko's house and left Azami's
10 mins later
"Do you know da wae?" Miyoko said for what seemed like the 40th time today.
"Yes I-"
"I'll show you da wae" she cut me off skipping infornt of me and leading me somewhere
"Miyo, come back!" I yelled trying to get her attention
"Come on! Dis is da wae"
I couldn't stop her so I just followed, she led us to a big house in the middle of a forest. At first I thought she was wandering off but I guess she was just showing me 'da wae' to her house
"Ta da!" She said going up to the house
"It's in the middle of nowhere? Why?" I asked
She shrugged and said "me and mum don't like the noise."
Miyoko opened the door and a women with long blonde hair that looked just like Miyoko but older, greeted us and introduced herself to me
"Just come inside. I'll get snacks" she said
We went to Miyoko's room and started to do our homework but didn't get that far because 5 minutes later we where busy laughing at memes
"Hi girls- oh my, what are you doing" Miyoko's mother said putting her hands on her hips when she came into our room with snacks, catching us not doing homework like we said we would
"U-um, w-we are d-doing it just um having a break?" She said more like a question than a answer. Luckily, she just chuckled and gave us the snacks and left, instead of scolding us like my mum would.
"Hold on a second, I need to go to the bathroom real quick" Miyoko said around a mouthfull of chocolate covering her mouth with her hand
"Ok, be quick" I said and shoved my face with more food as she left
Miyoko Pov
I went to the bathroom and after I was done I went to wash my hands. When I looked in the mirror I jumped with fright and swiftly turned around. In the reflection of the mirror, I saw Amaya Yuuka's beautiful face behind me with a expression filled with malice and bloodlust
I was to shocked by her presence to notice the knife in her hand right away
"Amaya?!?! Wtf are you-" before I could finish my sentence she put a hand over my mouth and harshly slammed me against the wall
"How dare you. How dare you try and steal my (y/n) from me. You disgusting piece of sh*t, don't deserve her. And even if you did, she is mine!" She said in a low and threatening voice and before I knew it she brang her hand with the knife in it up and sliced it into my neck.
I screamed but it was mostly nullified by her hand over my mouth. I felt excruciating pain before I feel to the floor and everthing in my vision faded out
