Packing his stuff, Nandini was walking all over Manik's room pulling out his things from different corners and packing it nicely in the bag that was on his bed
"Manik I have kept your shaving kit here" she said putting it in the upper compartment as he sat besides her adoring her
"Aur I have packed all your clothes, if you give them for laundry please collect it" she said on the verge of crying
"Aur tumahare over coats yaha rakhe hai, vahan thand hogi na" she said as a year slliped out of her eyes
Manik holds her face in both his palms and joins their foreheads
"Jaan" he says looking at her close eyes and that was it for Nandini she hold his hands which cupped her face and starts to cry
"Nandu, Jaan you don't won't me to go" Manik asked raising her chin making her face him
"I am just being ridiculous, I know it's important Manik aur bacchon ka school, I have work here, Aru is joining school from Monday we just can't come with you, I know I am being ridiculous" she said holding his shit in both her fist from either side crying
"Mera baby" Manik said taking her in bear hug
"I will come back soon" he said and she nodded her head in his arms
"Mom!" they heard Arya who entered after few minutes running and stopped seeing her parents in an intimate position
Nandini without turning wipe her tears with her long sleeve tee as Manik look at Arya who's gaze was now on his luggage
"Good morning Pumpkin" he greeted cheerfully as even Arav entered, he was chasing Arya
"Hum kahi jaa rahe hai?" Arya asked Manik and a lump formed in his thorat
How is he going to tell them?
He Saw both the kids walked and sat on the bed around his luggage
Nandini turned to the kids and said
"No baby" she said creasing Arya's head
"Dad has an impotant meeting so he has to go out of town for somedays" she informed them, they looked at Manik and he just starred back at them
"Aap vapas kab aaoge?" she asked him and now was sitting on his lap
"Soon" he said creasing her hairs
"Kitna soon?" she asked again as she hugged him
"15 days" Manik replied her
"Aap kaha ja rahe ho?" Arav asked
"Switzerland" Manik said and gave a small simle to him
"Bring a souvenir for the fridge haan, yaad se Mom aur Mamma bring one always" Arav said and started packing Manik's stuff helping Nandini as Manik looked at her and she assured him through her eyes
"Go now wait for the breakfast me and Dad will come" she said after they packed Manik's luggage and both the kids went away
"Nandini they" Manik said as soon as the kids left
"They are use to it Manik, I gobind tours to I expected them to be stubborn on not sending you but the didn't that means they know you are coming back to is" she assured him
"They are so understanding" Manik remarked
"That they are" she said with a proud smile
"But make sure you video call us everyday" she said
"I will try" he said and hugged her tightly
Before leaving he called the butlers to keep his luggage in his car
They walked hand in hand to the breakfast table
All through the table till the airport Arya was in his arms and Arav stick around him, they made him feed the breakfast and carry them to the car
Manik was happy seeing the kids go demanding on him, it was a way they were conveying him that though they don't show it they don't want him to go
"Take care haan and take care of your Mom" he said kissing their foreheads before heading for his security check
He stood up and leaned and kissed her forehead and she clinged to him
"I love you" he confessed again
"I know" she said and this made his eyes glassy, even today she didn't reply his I love you
His hold loosen on him and he walked away not turning once to show his tears but she knew the truth
She was seeing him check in when she felt someone taking her for a side hug
"He will be back soon Nandu"
"I am already waiting Bhir"

"Oh she won't listen Dad" Kavya said looking at Arya who had hid her face on her arms
"Princess tell her Dad is sorry he was busy" he was video calling, Kavya could see he was walking somewhere
Araya who was sitting behind the tab could hear his voice
"Aap hi bol doon" Kavya turned the tab and Manik could see his daughter but she refused to show him her face
She was mad at him! Five days and he didn't call even once
"Pumpkin Da... I am very sorry baccha I was busy, whenever I would call you must be sleeping baby" he tried to cox her
"Arya he is saying na he was busy but he called see, he has to attend a meeting still he is calling" Arav sat besides her
Well why was his son all clam that's because yesterday Manik had pestered him, Arya was asleep so she had no idea
"Sir all are waiting for you" they heard a lady
That was it Arya threw the tab away in anger
Manik saw the world go round in the tab and then the tab disconnected
He coursed himself for his temper because now even his kids had that in them
He felt bad too for them but he can't help it he was planning to wrap things early as possible so that he could go home early the schedule
He rushed to the meeting making a mental note to call his daughter again
He wrapped the meeting when he received a video call from Cabir as he answered
"I am sorry" he heard Arya and a smile spread on his lips
"No Pumpkin I am sorry" he said holding his ear in his hand make her giggle
They talk a lot Arya told him how Arav got back on the kids because of whom they were suspended, what she had for lunch
Then all the kids talked to Manik he was laughing and teasing with them
"Pumpkin where is Mom?" Manik asked
"She is in office, she has event of 5 years Anniversary of Pune branch na tho wo next week Puna jayegi and she is working for it" Arav informed him as he just nodded
After few talks they bid bye

After Arya had tossed the tab from that day Manik made sure he calls them once in a day and talk to all the kids and sometimes even his friends
He would talk to Nandini but that was just for few minutes
It was his second week in Singapore and today he was taking rest, sleeping when his iPad rang making him break his sleep and pick it up
"Manik" he heard her cry
"Jaan" he panicked as he saw her crying badly
"Mani" she snif again
"Nandu kya hua bolo baby" he was scared by now
"Mani Arya took all my chocolates you sent them for me na" she complained
"Jaan please stop crying first" he said
"Oh Mom it were some chocolates, why are you crying so much?" Arya said
"God you have spoilt her" Arav seconded her talking to Manik
"Shut up both of you" Manik warned them seeing more tears roll down Nandini's eyes
"Arya maine apko alag se bheja tha na why did you took Mom's chocolate?" he asked sternly
"But hers were more tasty" Arya pouted
"Arya" he warned her again
"God you treat her like a baby" Arav said more suprised seeing his parents like this, he had never seen his mother act like this ever before
"I will" Manik said in a cold voice
"She is my girl and you both just wait till I will be back I am punishing you to to make my Jaan cry" he said and looked at Nandini
"Mani" Nandini said and he pressed his smile, he knew Nandini was just missing him..
"Haan jaan" he said
"Don't punish them I over reacted" she said cleaning her face with her full sleeves
"I'll send more chocolates haan baby" he said kissing his iPads screen as both the kids giggled
"No don't, I have to go to Pune tomorrow for the event" she said sniffing
"Accha!?" he asked faking suprise
"Isn't Navya and Raqesh coming with you?" he asked
"No Navya has a meeting and Raq has visited Banglore, he is bringing Maa Paa here" Nandini informed and Walked with her iPad to Mini Manssion and entered his room and slept on his bed, it smelt like him..
"Come soon Mani I miss you" she said
"I miss you too and I Love you" he said and kissed the screen again making her laugh at his cuteness

Nandini left for Pune alone the next day she attended her hotel's Anniversary and since she was late leaving she stayed back at her apartment in Pune
She had video called the kids asking them to have dinner and not to trouble anyone
Then she ordered some food and was heating it in the microwave when she felt two hands encircling her waist
"Manik" she grasped

Landing in Mumbai Manik sent his luggage home and with a duffle bag took the next flight to Pune
He with help of Raqesh he got the address and even spare keys of the apartment
He unlocked the door carefully and walked in to see his wife standing near the microwave wearing his tee shirt which reached her mid thigh
She was so engrossed in heating the door that she didn't realize he tip toes and stood behind her
Not waisting a second he slipped his hands around her waist
"Manik" he heard her grasp as he hid his face in her hairs and take deep breaths getting his peace back after years
"My peace" he signs as even she close her eyes and gave in the moment finding her peace in him to
"My baby" he said holding her close in a possessively
"My Jaan" he turned her around and kissed her forehead
"My Nandu" he kissed all over her face making her giggle and her hand went around his neck pulling him clothes
"Mine and just Mine" he said while kissing her face making her seat on the kitchen platform
"Yours and just yours" she said still giggling
He stopped his kisses and joined their foreheads
"How come you are here?" she asked him surprised
"I ran away because I wanted to be here" he said leaning his head on her shoulder
"Kuch khaya hai?" She asked as he nodded no
"Come" she removed the food from the microwave and took it in a plate
Dragging him in the living room she made her sit on the couch sat on his lap as they eat sharing their two weeks with each other
As they were done with food, cleaning dishes and kitchen Manik picked Nandini in her arms and took her to the bedroom
He layed besides her taking her in a bear hug, cuddling he slept with her in his arms
