I strolled happily along the sidewalk, a spring in my step and the sweet tune of love playing in my heart, wondering why I'm so happy? Well today's the day I get to go to Griddys Donuts, see mum only lets me go once every two weeks on Saturday nights.
I made a turn and my eyes beamed at the sight of the neon lights shining under the moon light, the shop looked so timeless and full of wonder. I ran quickly to the front door and inside, once entering i took a seat right up center and waited patiently. I admired the paintings the hung on the wall and the cute little quotes scattered everywhere, the music changed and Life Could Be A Dream (sh boom) by The Crew Cuts came on, a classic.
I hummed along sweetly and swung my legs, I continued this motion until a voice cleared behind me, beckoning my attention. I turned in my seat to see a boys around my age, he had perfectly style hair and was wearing what I assumed to be a school uniform. I looked him in the eyes and he stretched his hand out towards me
"Hello, I noticed you sitting here alone and I thought I'd come over- wait no that sounds weird- you were by yourself I thought you'd like some company- wait is that weird? Sorry miss-"
I giggled slightly at his back and forth conversation, something I tended to do when I was under stress
"It's not weird, it's very kind of you. My name's y/n, y/n l/n"
A noticeable blush wiped across his face and he gave me a bashful grin, simples appeared on the sides of his face and I couldn't help but smile, he was really cute
"I'm Five"
I stared at his outstretched hand for a few moments before taking it in my own, he had a strong grip. once I retracted my hand and tilted my head sideways slightly. I knew that name from somewhere-
"Five! You done flirting with your girlfriend? we gotta go soon" A male voice echoes from behind Five and he gave me an apologetic look, giving a glance to whoever was speaking that read piss off.
"I'm sorry, my brothers are impatient little shits" I laughed brightly at his statement
"I know how you feel, I have two at home" he smiled down at me
"Five we gotta go!" Five rolled his eyes and looked back at you
"Sorry to cut this short but I have to go, could me meet up again sometime? I'd really love to get to know you" his statement made your heart race and you shook your head
"I'd like that"
He returned the grin you sent his way "come to the Hargreeves mansion tomorrow, we can go for a walk"
My breath caught in my throat, I knew I'd heard that name before. God mr Hargreeves gives me the chills
As he turned to leave one of who i assume is his brother wrapped an arm around his shoulders
"Sweetheart sorry to cut this meeting short but Luther will throw one of us out a fucking window if we don't move"
I waved goodbye and turned back towards the table, I placed my regular order of a glazed donuts and a chocolate milkshake,
What family have I gotten myself into?

I looked myself up and down in the mirror for the fourth time this afternoon, I had to look perfect. Mr Hargreeves was an intimidating man and if i came across him i had to look presentable.
I left my house shortly after and walked anxiously towards the Hargreeves mansion
I knocked quickly on the door and waited a few seconds, then I heard multiple shouts of laughter, a groan of annoyance and the door opened. Five stood before me with his signature smirk,
"Hey" he spoke confidently
"Hi-"
A bunch of kids around my age popped up behind Five "hey! You must be y/n-"
"You're as pretty as he said! Better looking than five-"
"Hey!-"
"Do you want to come inside? We'd love to meet the future Mrs-"
Five jumped out the door and slammed it swiftly behind him, giving me an apologetic smile "sorry about that"
I smiled up at him "it's all good"
The voices were still audible
"Aww come on Five, you can't keep her all to yourself"
He groaned in annoyance again and intertwined our hands, I blushed a bright red
"You wanna go for a walk in the park?" He offered, walking down the footpath to the front gate
"I'd love too"
He wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me into his side, I gasped at the sudden contact and he smirked down at me
"Great, now hold on" he beamed
I wrapped my arms around his torso and buried my head in his chest, with a blue flash of light I felt weightless for a second until my feet hit the ground.
I stayed in my position and felt Fived chest move along with his chuckles
"You can move now" he whispered and I reluctantly moved away, we were in the park
"Wow" i looked around in amazement and turned back to Five
"That was brilliant, you've got a wonderful gift Five" my complement surprised Five and he cleared his throat, I noticed the blush that had started to creep up his neck.
His hand once again intertwined with mine and I stared down at them
"You ready?" He questioned
I looked back up at him and gave a warm smile
"Absolutely"
As we strolled through the park i listened to Fives stories about missions and his siblings, they seemed quite the bunch. I erupted with giggles when Five told me about the mission were they couldn't find Klaus (the boy who had wrapped an arm around him in Griddys) for the majority of the mission only to find him flirting with what he said was a smoking hot babe, Five only saw a wall but took Klaus's word for it.
I leaned into his side as my giggles came to an end, I noticed the night sky above us, where we really out here for so long?
"It's nighttime already?" I wondered aloud
"Yeah, I didn't notice either" Five laughed, god I loved his laugh
He came to a stop in front of a small park bench, we were roughly in the center of the park and the moon shined brightly above us, along with the stars
"It's beautiful" I sighed, giving Fives hand a little squeeze, which he returned
"Not as beautiful as you"
His confession was quiet but I heard it, i looked up at him, his hair fell perfectly on his face and he had a serious look painted on his face, his eyes glowed.
"y/n"
I hummed in response, noticing how his eyes flickered from my eyes to my lips
"Can I kiss you?"
I felt the heat start to radiate of my face but nodded eagerly none the less. the suspense was killing me, he moved his free hand to brush some hair out of my face and cupped my cheek, brushing his thumb along it gently as if he was holding the most precious object in the world.
Slowly his face inched down towards mine and he licked his lips with a sense of hunger, before our lips touched he muttered
"So damn beautiful" and our lips crashed together in a way that made my heart skip a beat, my legs felt like jelly and I was thankful he slipped an arm around my waist.
I think I like what I've gotten myself into.
