'I guess this is it, isn't it. I mean it's not like you cared or anything, in fact you where never there when I needed you and now that I need you here the most...you aren't here. I thought you loved me but I guess that was just a make believe lie that I came up with all on my own. All those laughs and smiles that we shared together...was it just an act? Well I hope you know that even though you basically destroyed me from the inside and out...I still love you and wish you the best of luck in your life.
Please don't cry, I'm nothing to be sad about, you'll find someone new, someone you truly love. So I guess... this is where it ends.

A young woman sat there, staring at the note that she had written to her lover...he was out drinking again, leaving her all alone in their shared apartment. Taking in a deep breath she rubbed her wrists, which were raw from all the cuts she had caused. Staring at them she felt tears well up in her blue orbs. Shaking her head she stood up and walked over to the bed...sitting on it she reached into the bedside draw and pulled out a hand-held gun. It was given to her from her dad as a way to protect her if someone broke into her home and her lover wasn't there.
Holding it in the palms of her hand, she checked to make sure it was loaded, once she was sure, she brought it up to the side of her head with shaky hands. She stopped and hesitated as the tears fell freely from her ocean blue eyes. Glancing to the bedroom door she waited, waited for her lover to burst through that wooden door and hold her, telling her he loved her. But she knew better, she knew he wasn't going to come. He wasn't going to stop her, this was for the best because now she wouldn't be a burden to him or the world.
"One..." she started to count closing her eyes and pressing the gun deeper into the side of her skull. "Two..." her finger tighten around the trigger as she tried her best to steady her hand, closing her eyes she took in a deep breath. "Three!"
'BANG!'
Her lifeless body fell to the ground as blood started to pour from the wound that she had caused. As she laid there her eyes became dull and lifeless and blood begins to pool around her, staining her golden curls.

A young man entered his apartment a slight headache was beginning to form. He was getting tired of lying to his lover about going out to drink but it would all be worth it to see her face when she sees the diamond ring her had gotten her. He had been working night shifts each and every night to earn enough money to buy the ring for his lover. He didn't want her to know so he lied saying that he was out drinking with the guys. Oh he couldn't wait the see the happiness shine in those ocean colored orbs of her's as he proposes to her.
Shaking himself out of his thoughts, his face scrunched up when he smelt something truly disgusting, it was a metallic smell and it stunk up the whole apartment. Shaking it off, he decided to deal with it later and went to go find his lover. As he neared their bedroom, he noticed that that revolting smell got stronger. Once again shrugging it off, he opened the door and turned on the lights... biggest mistake in his life. He fell to his knees, a horrified look on his face as he started at the corpse of his lifeless lover.
Screaming, he crawled over to her side holding her lifeless corpse close, not caring about the blood staining his clothes as he held her close crying. "Please! Wake up! Don't leave me!" he begged as he rocked himself and the woman that he loved back and forth. Lying her down gently he got up and decided to call the police, until he noticed a note on the desk. Walking over to it, he read through it, before dropping it to the ground as he stood there eyes wide. "IDIOT!" he screamed throwing everything off the desk.
"How could you think such a thing, of course I love you!" he cried out as if she could hear him. About an hour later, the room had been trashed as the young man leaned against the wall and sobbed loudly. Clutching his head he whimpered as he held himself...he knew that this was more his fault then anyone else. If he hadn't wanted it to be a surprise he would have told everything. How was he such an idiot that he didn't notice the pain she was going through.
Reaching into his pocket his pulled out the ring that he had brought that day, he had plan to propose tomorrow to his sweet lover, but it seems that he was too late. "Please don't leave me like this...I love you" he mumbled, throwing the ring at the lifeless corpse before bringing his hands up to his face, covering it. "I love you" he mumbled over and over to himself as he shook his head, wishing that this was just a nightmare and that he would wake up soon. Wake up to see the loving face of his girlfriend or better yet his soon-to-be-wife. But he knew this was stone cold reality, he couldn't rewind the clock.
Dropping his hands he looked up to the ceiling and released another painful cry as he just sat there, crying to his hearts content for the rest of the night.

'Don't say that! It's not the end, can't you see I love you more than anything. I would gladly give up anything to see you happy and to have you by my side. Your love is all I need in this cold and twisted world and just to see your smile...well it can light up the darkest of place. Heaven cannot compete with your beauty and the stars and moon weep with jealous over your looks. So no...this is not where it ends because we were meant to be and if something ever happen to you then I shall give up my happiness and wonder the earth alone until the day I die.
