My eyes flutter open to reveal my room in front of me. Why arnt i dead..?
A soft knock is placed on my door before it opens revealing emma with a cup of something hot due to the steam coming out the top
"your awake" she smiles softly before coming to sit next to me, handing me the cup of what smells like hot chocolate. I nod and take the mug from me settling it in my lap
"yep" I nearly even whisper popping the 'p'. Emma gives me a sympathetic smile before getting up and walking towards the door
"ill come back with some fruit salad" she says and i nod as she retreats me room
I look back at my bedside table to see a brand new frame around the photo of Noah and I. The photo with slightly ripped around the edges and in the middle but you could still see how much love we shared
Love
My eyes shoot to my wrist where it's neatly wrapped in a white bandage. Who wrapped it?
"I can't even kill myself right" I grumble to myself stroking the top of the bandage with my knuckle, seeing the dark red blood barely visable through the bandage meaning it was wrapped while the blood was still fresh
"here we are" Emma says as she enters my room, placing a bowl of fruit salad mixed with some salad. She squats beside my bed and places her hand on top of mine, rubbing the top of my hand with her thumb
I smile at her gradually as she does so, knowing she's the one who wrapped my cuts. She smiles back with a friendly yet caring manner
Jade walks through my door way, looking down at her phone
"hey em, alex wants to know if nicky is awa-" she looks up and sees me, immediately rushing to my side "your awake" she whispers embracing me with a hug
"yeah" I barely even whisper as she pulls back "umm if you don't mind me asking, why are you two in my house..."
"three nights ago, alex found you pasted out in your shower with four very deep cuts on your errr wrist, he immediately called us and went to go find noah, when noah couldn't be reached or found we came over here and having been looking after you since" Emma explains. Just as I'm about to ask where my dad is jade reads my mind
"your dad went on a business trip to australia and your mum went with him. he left multiple messages on your phone says when they were leaving, why, and when they will be back which is in about two weeks, your brother had to take care of some stuff back in new york and said he'd be back in about a week or so" Jade says as to which I nod
"errr umm where is noah?" I ask and they both look down
"alex texted him a thousand times about the situation your in and noahs just left him on seen, no one knows where he is. he hasn't been at school for the last two days either" Emma adds as I nod, understanding he probably wants nothing to do with me anymore
Emma picks up the frame to the photo of Noah and I and sighs
"i found this shattered in pieces when I got here, I thought maybe if you broke it something happened between you to" she says bringing tears to my eyes
He doesn't like you anymore
"it's okay, i don't want it" I say, sniffling and sitting up trying to pretend i don't care. All I can think about is what happened at the party
His eyes darkened into hers and the next thing you know, their lips are on eachothers
Tears I didn't know were there start falling down my cheeks. Emma passes her hand on my back and rubs it, soothingly
"just let it out hun, the world doesn't need boys like noah for whatever he did" she says softly
"he kissed my best friend from new york that i haven't seen since I moved here" I choke out. Jade growls and Emma stiffen beside me
"penny" Jade literally growls out, I see her fists clench at the mention of penny's name
"you know her?" I sniff, wipping back the tears as I look at the both of them with disbelief
"oh we know her" Jade scoffs, rolling her eyes "and for the things she did and said to noah are pure evil" she spits
Emma shakes her head, probably filtering the information through her head "wait you were friends with her?" she asks and I nod
Putting the words 'were' in bold letters
"let me tell you the whole story, love" emma starts and I sigh, knowing there's a big explanation that comes with it
I start to eat my salad as they start the story
Third person flashback
"oi emma over her" abigal yelled throwing her hands up, trying to get emma to throw her the frizbe
"go long" emma yelled back as abigal starts running backwards. suddenly abigal trips over a person foot and lands face first into the ground. just as abigal is about to cry, two hands bring her to her feet
noah rushes over to abigal side and smiles gradually up at blake, the one who helped abby up
"thanks bro" noah commented grabbing abigals hand "sorry about her, she's a bit clumsy" he said at which blake nods understandably
"don't worry about it, I've got one to and she's just as clumsy" he replied back letting them start up a conversation
when the day was over noah, jade, emma and abigals parted with blake and penny to go back to there normal day routines. after lunch noah secretly gave his number to penny as to is was written on a napkin. noah didn't really give his number back them so this was odd, especially for him
as the days went by noah and penny got closer, causing luke to get furious. the first time the two met, they didn't like each other. when penny wasn't interested in noah anymore luke thought noah was the one who broke it off which started a mass fight to break out between the two
Back to nickys pov midway through story
"wait so luke, penny's brother didn't like noah from the start?" I ask shoving more salad down my throat
"shhhh I'm trying to tell a story" Emma hushs me causing me to scold at her as she continued
Third person flashblack
after the fight broke out, penny and luke went back to new york. noah forgot about penny and started banging random girls until he met a certain nicole andrews
END OF FLASHBACK/THIRD PERSON
"hang on hang on, wait.." my eyes widen "is Luke's last name by any chance knight?"
"he took that last name of his mum and penny took the last name of her dad" Jade explains
"fucking hell, I didn't know they were related" I exaggerate throwing my hands in the air out of aspersion
"well they are" Emma finish as I sigh
"can one of you drive me to a cliff about 20 minutes from here, I'll tell you the directions" I ask and Emma nods her heads
We all head downstairs and out the door, jumping into Emma's car. We drive for the estimated 20 minutes and stop at the dirt track I know all to well
At the end of the track, I put my head down knowing what's about to come but when I look up, it's not what I expected
A small tent and fire pit is set up to the left of the cliff. A silhouette sits at the edge of the cliff, a bottle clasped in his hands and a cigarette held in the other
"is this what you've came to" I say making him jump a little. He turns around enough to see the sorrow in his once bright green eyes now as dull as a slow carnival ride
Noah stands up, dropping the bottle of what looks to be vodka and stumbles over to me. His eyes look like they haven't closed properly for days as dark circle just under his eyes
"nic-" before he can finish I slap him
That's right
You heard me
I slapped him
His head whips to the side as hand immediately clutches his cheek "I deserved that" he sighs, rubbing his cheek
"let me start off by letting you how much of a bastard you have been" I clarify looking at him with disbare
"nicky you can't come out here and just-" I cut him off
"it's nicole to you" i spit, pulling a strained smile. His gaze shoots to the ground as I continue "no actually, its nicolena to you" I add
"i didn't know that was your full name, babe" he says bringing his eyes up to look at mine. I narrow my eyelids at the comment
"oh you don't know a lot of things about me babe" I say spitting the word 'babe' with a whole lot of hate
"you don't look like your in the right state to talk to me" he sighs shaking his head down at me, taking in my features
I mean he was right, I was in no state to come up here and talk to him dressed the way I am. I wear a cropped long sleeve grey shirt with loose grey joggers, my hair in one messy high ponytail and tear strecked cheeks that didn't make my looks look any better. The Worst part of it all, I'm not wearing a bra
"i don't care what fucking state I'm in to talk to you" I shout, a single tear dropping from the corner of my eye
Noah goes to whip it away but I don't let him. I won't let him. I grab his wrist before his hand can reach my face and keep a firm hold on it as he looks at me intently
"dont" I whisper loud enough for him to hear me "Noah I just want you to tell me one thing"
He nods in agreement. I let go of his wrist and inhale sharply before speaking
"do you love me" I choke, now multiple tears sliding down my face. Noah visibly tenses at my question
"do you want to kiss me till my lips go numb, do you want to hug me till I'm warm, do you want to make me happy when I'm feeling sad" I wipe the tears away as he stays silent
"do you want to hold me in you arms, care for me, touch me, kiss me, like no one else can... that is all I want to know"
"do you love me" I repeat softly, barely even whispering it. He stands there, eyes clenched shut, his mouth stays in a straight line, not moving an inch looking like it's not going to open any time soon
"that what I thought" shaking my head, I take a few steps back from him, anger rising inside of me "did I mean a thing to you!?" I shout
"was this all a joke to you?! were you just for filling your destiny to sleep with me then go fuck off with another girl"
your nothing to him, my brain says
but he's everything to you, my heart fights
"not anymore" I mutter to no one in particular "im going" I sigh
I walk away, slightly hoping he runs after me. But he never does. Not looking back, I walk back though the trees to the dirt track and see Emma and Jade, both leaned against the car
"let's go home love" Jade says slinging her arm over my shoulder, trying to brighten the mood. I chuckle slightly knowing she's just trying to help
"you wanna know something?" Emma asks and I nod, getting into the front passenger seat
"feeling dead is the worst part of being alive" she says making all of us chuckle
I HOPE THIS COMES TO STANDEDS (I'm patting myself on the back for this chapter cause it it my normal 2000 words) my studies are back on track everyone but I'm grounded...
see I snuck out with my friends to get donimos and my dad found out so yee I'm in shitttttt
