"You're from Australia?" Saeyoung queried curiously, toying with the end of her brother's black hair. "But you look Asian."

The boy laughed and swatted her hand away. "I am Asian but I was born in Australia."

Saeyoung's brown eyes lit up and she gazed at him as if he was a rare jewel. "That's coooool! I heard the fish and chips over there are the best! And that the animals are there are really cute. But how did you end up in Korea?"

"My parents moved us here when I was five."

Saeyoung's lips formed into an "o" shape as she nodded her head in understanding. She then proceeded to ask her new brother several more prying questions, eliciting annoyed grumbles from Felix though he still answered all of them to please his sister.

Johnny and Ten watched their two children interact with loving smiles on their faces.

"I wonder if Minji will be okay with the idea of having a sibling just like Saeyoung is," Ten remarked, thinking about his niece next door.

"We'll see pretty soon. Let's arrange a playdate for them," Johnny proposed and the Thai man agreed readily.

"Where is my other daddy going?" Minji inquired with a tilt of her head, tugging on Seokjin's arm.

The man smiled at his daughter's endearing gesture and reached down to brush her long brownish-black hair out of her face.

"Your other dad is going out to pick up your baby brother," Seokjin replied with a small smile. "Didn't we tell you this last night over dinner?"

The ten-year-old girl jutted out her lips in a semi-pout. "I thought you were joking."

"Why would we joke about something like this?"

"I don't know...I just don't want a brother."

"Baby, we've discussed this. Having a sibling is a good thing! You'll have someone to play with when your dad and I are too busy."

"I have Savan- I mean, Saeyoung!"

"Saeyoung won't always be with you. She has to take care of her own brother."

"Hmph," the girl huffed in an indignant manner, sharply turning her head away with her arms crossed and her forehead puckered into a deep frown.

Seokjin shook his head in fond exasperation and scooped the sulking girl up into his arms, eliciting a hysterical giggle from her.

"Aigoo, stop moping. You'll love your brother! Appa and Dad won't love you any less just because we have another kid," Seokjin said reassuringly, pecking Minji on her forehead.

"Promise?"

"Promise." The man's larger pinky finger curled around the girl's tiny one.

"YAH! SEO FELIX! KIM TAEHYUNG!" Minji yelled, aiming a pillow and a book at the two rascals running around the room.

Saeyoung was watching the chaos unfold with a greatly amused grin while Minji was fighting the impulse to strangle everyone in the room.

When she wasn't looking, the boys had stolen her stuffed panda toy as a harmless prank. Currently, they were passing it to and fro so that Minji couldn't catch it.

Darn her shortness.

"I WANT PANPAN BACK! GIVE HER TO ME!" Minji demanded furiously, hurling the pillow at one of them. The flying object narrowly missed Felix's head by a few inches.

"COME GET HER THEN!" Taehyung, her younger brother, quipped cheekily. He waved the toy in the air and stuck his tongue at his enraged sister.

"YOU INFURIATING LITTLE FUDGECAKES!" Minji proceeded to run after them with the book in hand, ready to smack both of them into a coma.

The two boys squealed excitedly and began quickening their pace. They weaved through the furniture, trying to dodge the angered female's attacks.

"Language~" Saeyoung sang cheerily as Felix whizzed past her with the stuffed toy clasped in his hands.

"I'M NOT EVEN CUSSING, DAMN IT!"

"WHO SAID THE BAD WORD?!" Everyone froze at the sound of Johnny's frenzied voice. They heard painful thuds, the shattering of glass and even a cat's shrill meow before Johnny eventually barged into the children's playroom.

"Minmin!" The three children chorused, each pointing an accusing finger at the flabbergasted perpetrator.

"I HATE YOU ALL!" Minji screamed at the snitches.

Johnny strode over to the red-faced child and squatted down to match her eye level before pinching her cheeks.

"What did your parents say about cursing?"

"Under no circumstances should I say a bad word," Minji spoke, her words coming out as muffled due to her squished cheeks.

"And what did you just say?"

"I said 'damn it'."

"So do you realize that you said something wrong?"

"But Taehyung and Felix were bullying me!" Minji whined, stomping her foot. "If I'm getting punished, they should be punished too!"

The two boys immediately began protesting, their words jumbling and mingling in a cacophony of angry screeches. Saeyoung joined in with her high-pitched snorts and giggles.

It gave Johnny a splitting headache.

"Okay, okay, everyone shut the hell up please!" Johnny said pleadingly.

Everyone fell silent. But not because of his command.

Taehyung gasped loudly just as Felix brought his hands up to cover his mouth. Saeyoung made a disapproving tut while Minji simply squirmed out of Johnny's hold to run out of the room.

"APPA! DAD! UNCLE TEN! UNCLE JOHNNY SAID A BAD WORD!" The four occupants of the room heard her screeching all the way to the outside patio where the rest of the parents were having a mini barbecue party.

"JOHNNY, YOU'RE SLEEPING ON THE COUCH TONIGHT!"

"SEO YOUNGHO, WHAT DID YOU SAY!?"

"MY BABIES' VIRGIN EARS!"

Ten, Namjoon and Seokjin screamed out loud in sync.

Johnny winced, knowing the other three was going to eviscerate him with Seokjin's pink HelloKitty-themed spatula.

Cardboard boxes with black marker ink scrawled on them laid strewn across the pathway as movers unload furniture from the back of the van.

A family of four milled around the front of the house. They watched as their belongings shifted into the house that had transformed into a home awaiting a new life with a new family.

A couple of houses down the street, a wide-eyed child stared out of his window with interest brewing in his brown orbs.

"Why are there so many people over there?" He asked, catching his sister's attention.

The girl placed her phone to the side and rolled out of the bottom bunk bed, landing on the floor with a soft thud. She then skipped over to her brother, peering over his shoulder with curious eyes.

"Oooh, I think our new neighbours just moved in!" Minji exclaimed, eyes following the four figures walking into their house.

"Let's go say 'hi'! Maybe Appa and Dad will come along too!" Taehyung chirped, bounding out of the room and down the stairs with his sister hot on his heels.

"Appaaaa!" Both children called, bursting into the kitchen while grinning widely.

"What is it this time around, munchkins? Did Minji destroy something? Or is Taehyung harassing Minji again?" Seokjin said dryly, arranging a baking tray full of freshly-baked cinnamon rolls into a neat stack on a plate.

"Nope. We want to go welcome our new neighbours!" Minji said cheerily as she eyed the pastries with an insatiable look of hunger in her eyes.

Seokjin smiled and handed one cinnamon roll to each of his children.

"I thought so. That's why I baked these cinnamon rolls earlier on. We can go and give them to our new neighbours. I think they have two kids who are around your age."

"Yayyy! New friends!" Taehyung cheered and Minji smiled fondly at him. The boy was clearly the more sociable and extroverted one out of the two.

"Let's go," Seokjin announced, leading them out of their home and towards the house down the lane.

A few minutes later, they were standing in front of the cherrywood door after ringing the doorbell. The bell was to the tune of "Baby Shark" and Taehyung jammed to it while waiting.

Shortly after, the door swung open to reveal a stoic-faced man with a shocking shade of mint-green hair.

"If you're a cookie girl scout selling cookies, we aren't interested so please don't ever come back," the intimidating male intoned, staring up at Seokjin.

Minji glanced at her father. He looked like he was about to throw the platter of cinnamon rolls at the man.

"I don't know if your eyes are functioning or not but I am clearly not a cookie girl scout and these are cinnamon rolls, not cookies," Seokjin seethed and after a beat of silence, he added, "you uncultured swine."

The man raised an eyebrow, unfazed by Seokjin's attitude.

"Okay, thanks for the free food." He snatched the plate out of Seokjin's hand and motioned to close the door when another voice rang out.

"Sugar! Who's at the door?"

A smiley, amiable man arrived at the door. He pushed the more sullen-looking male to the side before addressing the two kids and a fuming Seokjin.

"Sorry, that was my husband. He's just in a bad mood today," the cheerful man said with an apologetic smile.

"'am not," the mint-haired man interrupted with a sullen look.

"Shut up, Yoongi," the previously smiley man scowled at his husband, effectively silencing the other.

"Hello, I'm Seokjin and these are my children, Taehyung and Minji," Seokjin said warmly, deeming the man nicer to talk to than the other one.

"My name is Hoseok and that's my grumpy husband, Yoongi," Hoseok replied, giving the two children a cordial smile.

Taehyung and Minji instantly took a liking to the man.

"Come in! The house is still a mess so sorry about that. Thank you so much for the food by the way. It smells great!" Hoseok ushered them in, taking the plate from Yoongi.

"That's because our dad is the best cook in the neighbourhood!" Taehyung declared proudly, earning him an amused smile from Hoseok.

"Really? I hope we can try more of your dad's food in the future. Now, why don't you go and play with our children while we adults talk for a while?" Hoseok suggested before turning to Yoongi. "Go get Jimin and Jungkook, please. They should be upstairs."

Yoongi nodded wordlessly and headed up the stairs.

Minji and Taehyung soon found themselves staring at two young boys.

"Hi! I'm Taehyung!" The boy greeted, a boxy smile gracing his bright features.

"Minji," the girl said shortly, eyes trained downwards in a shy manner.

"I'm Jimin. It's a pleasure to meet you," the boy with a cute eye-smile said softly. "This is my younger brother, Jungkook. I call him Kookie though."

The younger child waved timidly before hiding behind his brother's back.

"That's a cute name! I'll also call you Kookie from now on!" Taehyung said joyfully, managing to make Jungkook crack a toothy smile.

"Do you guys want to come over to my house and play? I can invite my best friend and her brother too," Minji said, receiving incoherent sounds of agreement from the rest.

The four children then made their departure from the brothers' house after informing their parents with matching grins of glee on their faces.

"I SWEAR TO GOD YOU BOYS BEFRIENDED ONE ANOTHER FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF GANGING UP ON ME!" Minji shouted, flushed with rage as she chased after four giggling boys who had taken a Mamamoo member card each. They had broken into her stash of band merchandise and had gotten away with the photocards of one of her favourite girl bands.

"OVER HERE! I'M HOLDING YOUR BIAS PHOTOCARD!" Jimin goaded, raising the Wheein card high up for Minji to see.

"JUNG JIMIN, IF THERE IS A SINGLE SMUDGE MARK ON MY QUEEN WHEEIN FROM YOUR GREASY AS FUCK FINGERS, I'M STICKING THIS LIGHTSTICK UP YOUR GODDAMN ASS!"

In retaliation to her threat, Jimin stuck out his pink tongue at her and ran behind Felix who was holding onto the Moonbyul card.

Jungkook then teasingly motioned to drop the Hwasa card out of the window, eliciting a frantic shriek from Minji. Charging towards him like an irate bull, the girl tackled him to the ground.

"GIVE IT BACK!" Minji said through gritted teeth as she began wrestling the card out of Jungkook's vice-like grip.

Felix, Jimin and Taehyung immediately began placing bets on either of the two strongest in their group.

"KICK HIS ASS, MINMIN!" Felix and Jimin cheered for the girl while Taehyung hollered words of encouragement to Jungkook.

Meanwhile, Saeyoung stood on the sidelines as usual and watched all hell breaking loose with a beam on her face.

She really couldn't envision a future without these moronic five.
