Chapter 20:
Earthdate 5-31-2250-210 a.d.d
Malaki p.o.v
"The call is directed to you, do you want to take the call alone?" Kii-ea asks me
"No, honestly I cant talk to him alone right now." My body is trembling slightly. Cookie grabs my hands to comfort me.
"You can do this. We just need to play along until I get evidence." I nod in agreement as she answers the call for me.
"Nathan." Kiki-ea deadpans.
"Well then, hello kii-ea.I would like to keep this short. I have some matters to discuss with my son." I scoot closer to kii-ea to show myself on screen.
"Alone." My father says. Kii-ea stays put, it only annoys my father more.
"I think you need a lesson on what alone mea-" Nathan begins
"Father I would rather kii-ea stay. As They are my new commanding officer I feel its only formal that they hear what is said." When I cut him off my fathers face morphs into bitter anger.
"You see my dear wife has fallen ill and I am going to throw a party to, well to be frank I'm sure she doesn't have much time. The woman has stopped eating." He huffs out.
"The treatments aren't working, and I want my dear wife to have one last hurrah to see her friends and family." My father continues.
"Nathan, with your permission I could try to treat her here?" Kiki-ea tells him.
"To have you kill my wife, no thank you!" He retorts back in an instant
"Father. Enough! Kii-ea has done so much for zed, the medical equipment here is far better than any of ours. You should hear kii-ea out. There's another doctor here too." I am biting my tongue to hold back my anger.
"NO MALAKI!" The volume of his voice shocked us both but he quickly composed himself.
"Anyway, the party is already arranged, I only called to inform you of your required attendance, as you are my child." He sneers.
"Tomorrow at 8 pm sharp, do bring a date that is not a male, will you? Someone you can possibly bring me a grandchild with would be nice." He cuts the line before I can yell back.
"Do you think your mom is ok?" Kiki-ea asks me.
"She will be once we smuggle her back here. Lets see if we can put this tunnel to use shall we?" Kii-ea answers with a nod of her head.
"Let's go meet with the evac crew and the guys. Well make a plan t get your mother here safely and secretly." Kiki-ea coms the crew she wants. Within 15 mins everyone including zed, lex and hendrix are back here discussing this new 'mission' to get my mother here and to snoop for evidence of my fathers obstruction of justice.
Time skip to next day
6-1-2250-210 a.d.d
**KIi-ea p.ov***
"V I think I'm going to vomit; this smell is terrible." I'm currently in the midst of having V dye my hair black.
The smell is intoxicating, in a bad way.
"I think you may need to trim your hair your highness, not much, but some. This hair dye is ruining your ends." V tells me in with a very sassy tone.
"Oh lord you watch too many housewives shows V." We laugh together.
"I missed this." I tell her.
"I did too, I needed this more than you did Kii-ea, or should I have a nickname for you now? Maybe something like koko or Kookoo." I turn and glare at her.
"What!? You think I didn't hear master malaki call you cookie yesterday? Or how hendrix calls you kitty, and master zed calls you kiki. You have those boys head over heels for you. After tonight, it will be literal."
"After tonight my father is going to be pissed." I sigh out.
"Well, at least if he finds out." She reply's softly.
I sit in a new chair as she trims at least 10 inches off my hair, that now falls mid back. Its blacker than night, she even dyed my eyebrows to match.
Minutes later honelle walk in with a huge grin on her face and bag in hand.
"Ok I know this is cheesy, but we wanted to help with makeup, I figured it would help." I smile and nod to her.
"Are you nervous?" Honelle asks me as she sits in front of my towel covered body.
"Only that Nathan might recognize me." I sigh out. She just nods.
"I think you'll be fine. With the hair color you look like any girl from the France colony, you'll be ok." I smile to her softly
"Ive never gotten to do anyone's makeup but my mothers, thank you for trusting me." Honelle tells me.
"Us girls have to stick together!" I like honelle, she's a nice girl who's not too girly, her knowledge chamber is endless and I've learned many things about boy bands I never knew till now.
Honelle finishes my makeup and I look in the mirror. She uses a 'foundation', as she called it, that was lighter than my usually skin tone, I almost look like a different person, I even have freckles now.
"You really look like the Dragons daughter now." She tells me.
Shortly after V finishes my hair, my newly black hair Is half up and half curled, its framing my face and I must say I like it a lot. I stand and walk to my closet door. I open it to find the most beautiful dress I've ever seen.
It's a red floor length shimmering gown, it has a split at mid-thigh and its high neck. Its something I absolutely never thought I'd see myself in.
"Ive done a few alterations." V cuts in. She pulls out a knife and goes to cut the dress, causing Honelle and myself to gasp. But the dress doesn't rip, in fact the knife seems to bounce back a bit.
"I modified the lining with our shield technology, You we covered in nano-shields throughout. Master malaki and the crew we have escorting you two as security will also be wearing this. Unless a bomb goes off, you'll be fine." V adjusts the zipper so I can step in. I step out to look in the mirror and every step I take seems to blow air right to my privates.
"Wow, this is very, Um, Open. Can you hand me those shorts."I point to the shorts by honelle and she hands them to me.
"Yeah I wouldn't want to wear anything but shorts under that either. I would fear my lady bits would fly out." I laugh hard at her words. Its nice to share a laugh with someone new.
"Lets get you to the Berlin rover to master malaki. Well meet you in the tunnel at 1 am. From now you have 7 hours to get there, snoop and get her down and out." I nod to v.
"I will see you then." I walk with honelle and V out of my chambers to the hidden back courtyard. Thankfully only the people who already know me are there. Its only Lex, zed, hendrix, and malaki. All eyes are on me the second I walk out.
"KIKI! Look at you!" Zed wobbles over to me. Before I can protest he kisses me on the mouth, only Honelle and lex seem to notice. Hendrix and malaki don't seem to care.
"I knew you kissed him." Malaki says in my head. I blush and avoid eye contact, I'm too awkward.
"Sorry, I had to get a kiss while you were in this. Its just so beautiful on you kiki." Zed brushes my hair behind my ear and walks me to Hendrix.
Hendrix leans in and kisses my cheek.
"Ill be collecting a kiss on the lips later. But I do want one." He whispers so only I hear. Stepping back he runs a hand down my arm and steps back.
"The tunnel has been widened and I sent two rovers down there already, its big enough for you three and the 4 guards only. I have two there now. Ill meet you with zed tonight, well escort you back here." I nod as he finishes.
"If they follow we blow the tunnel at mid. No structural damage to either town that way." I tell him.
"Agreed, tnt already in place just in case." I smile to him. I think I'm about to do something crazy.
What was it Honelle told me, you only live once?
I pulled hendrix down to me and placed a kiss on his mouth. Hendrix whole body froze up, and Malaki seemed to jump into the air.
"Well I think I'm officially jealous of my boyfriend's cookie." Malaki tells me from the rover door.
I step back from hendrix and wave goodbye to the two boys I just kissed. My cousin is sending me daggers but I see honelle nudging him and they both smirk at the boys.
When I get back I know I'm going to have to tell those two what I heard from them.
"Yeah, we should all talk about what we are." Malaki whispers as we sit in the rover, him on driver, me in passenger.
We drive out of the city a bit and in the blink of an eye we are an hour out from berlin. We sat in silence most of the way.
Its odd silence, but I may be reading into it. I catch myself glancing to malaki a lot, mostly because he looks so handsome in his suit, plus I like that he decided not to wear a helmet anymore.
I wonder if hes mad I didn't kiss him? The second the thought passes my mind malaki shakes his head no, hes obviously been listening to my thoughts the whole way. Bastard.
"Malaki, you're not mad?" I ask to clarify.
"Kiki-ea, I don't think I could ever be mad at you for showing affection to them, but in a way I was very surprised you initiated the kiss with hendrix. It was unexpected." I nod at him.
"Do you want me to initiate a kiss with you?" I ask before I think. My face turning red with nervously. He turns towards me and winks.
"I have a feeling no matter you or I initiate it, that I'm going to have to kiss you at the party tonight. Its up to you if you want our first kiss to be here, or there. You're in charge." He sits back up and smiles.
Well, I'd rather it be here.
"Malaki, I want to kiss you here." I smile to him, I feel relatively comfortable with all the guys now.
"In the car? You really are kinky." His mouth goes into a smirk and I laugh a bit. He looks back towards the road and begins driving again.
I push myself towards Malaki and go to plant a kiss on his cheek to get him to look at me. But he turns towards me last second. Our lips connect and I feel the buzz of his electronics below my lips.
It gives me a slight shock. I close my eyes and he close him. The car maintaining its route as he lets go of that wheel. The half cyborg must of put it in auto pilot.
His hand snakes its way behind my head and his pulls me in roughly to his mouth, his tongue dancing with mine. This sort of connection os nice, I feel my body melt into a rhythm as I let out a very embarrassing moan. Malaki pulls back instantly, his eyes meeting mine.
"I apologize, that kiss was very intense. I didn't mean to presser you." He pulls my hands into his and wipes my mouth with his other thumb.
"I wasn't pressured Malaki, I enjoyed it." I smile to him.
"Well, were probably going to have to kiss a few times at the party. Have you decided on what your name and backstory is?" He asks, changing the subject as center Berlin comes into view.
"My name is Alice Demny, I'm the dragon's daughter, a human from the France colony. I met Green on his mission and when he moved to rudendorf he invited me to move there, I met you and I fell in love the second I saw you. We've been dating now for 2 months. Happily, I may add." He just laughs at me.
"You really know it don't you?" He teases.
"Honelle helped me memorize it while she did my makeup." He just smiles to me.
"Welcome to Berlin Alice." He says as we enter the car pull in, He presents his I'd and the fake one V made for me today. They let us through. He drives to the tallest building in all Berlin.
"The tunnel connects with your house?" I ask.
"Apparently the 5th basement level connects, I think that's evidence, wouldn't you say." I nod as we step out to the valet parking.
He must be loaded? My god this building is his?
"Its my fathers, I don't accept any money from him." He tells me in my head reading my thoughts.
We enter an elevator and get sent to the top floor, very top, at least 50 levels up. I exit and I'm met with glass windows to my left and right and a huge living room in front of me.
"My boy! You brought a woman home! Who is this?" Nathans tone is completely different, He seems like a different person here.
"Alice Demny, its nice to meet you." I say with a fake smile. Nathan eats it up and grabs my hand, placing a kiss on it. His eyes meeting mine and he looks at me puzzling something together in his tiny mind.
"So Alice, will you and my boy be giving me any grandchildren soon? Maybe even before my poor wife passes. I mean god bless that woman, I know shed love to see grandchildren." My face is red and Malaki steps in.
"Were only dating father, nothing serious yet." Malaki tells his father. For a second I see Nathan's face morph to hatred and disgust but he quickly composes himself.
"Please, Alice, do have fun. My house is yours for the night. My wife is in her room, I'm sure she'd love to meet you. I will see you all later." With that Malaki pulls me to his mothers room.
The woman on the bed looks just like malaki. As Nathan is white, this woman's skin is dark and beautiful. Her body is thin, and I can tell before looking she has not eaten in weeks. She has IV fluid going in and I see a catheter bag hiding below the blanket.
"Mom." Malaki whispers.
The woman's eyes slowly open and I can tell just opening them hurts her.
"My baby boy." She whispers. Malaki goes to sit her up and Immediately help him. The woman looks to me with wide eyes.
"You are my sons girlfriend yes?" She whispers with a smile. I don't want to lie to her. I really don't, but something inside me tells me its honestly the truth.
"Your son means a whole lot to me, that's for sure." I say with a shy smile.
"Her name is Alissa." Malaki says in my head
"Malaki, come here." Alissa breaths out.
"Malaki, you need to leave. Your father... he" The doors slammed open and I see Nathan with a woman on his side.
"Ah! Alice, I see you've met my wife! Malaki, Alice, you should come back to the party! I want you to meet my soon to be wife, Lorelei. Shes been helping take care of your mom!" I glance to Malaki, who's shaking in his boots with anger, so I swiftly and discreetly slip my arm through his and walk up both to the party.
"It was nice to meet you Alissa, we will be back later to chat more. I would love to know more about you." I smile and follow Nathan and his woman out. The woman Lorelei swaying her hips more than she needs.
