I was in what looked like a grassy desert, with dunes and tumbleweeds surrounding me. On one of the dunes, I saw a figure in what looked like a navy blue bomber jacket and a yellow mask similar to the ones superheroes would wear. but the most striking the thing about the figure was it's hair. Chin length and bright red, it was pulling me towards it-him, I realized as I got closer. He was facing to the left, staring intently, watching something, but I couldn't make out what. I called to him, "hello, who are you?" but he didn't answer. I called out once more, and he turned slightly towards me, when I felt my whole body convulse. I screamed, and woke up.
"Cam? Cam, we're here." I opened my eyes and saw Es hovering over me, a worried look on her face.
"Wha-whats wrong?"
"Your whole body was shaking, and you were calling out in your sleep..." a wave of realization washed over her. "Oh, honey, you had the dream again, didn't you?" I nodded.
"Well, don't worry. It's okay. Everything is going to be okay. We are at the concert now, are you ready to go inside?" Es asked, concerned.
"Yeah, I'm okay." I assured her.
Emmet was awkwardly standing over to the side, but when I tried to sit up, he rushed over to help.
"Cam, you should really tell someone about these dreams. Maybe there's something your subconscious self is trying to tell you?" Emmet suggested, sounding hopeful. I rolled my eyes.
"It's just a dream, guys. Chill." I tried to be reassuring, but as soon as it came out it sounded cold. "Sorry."
Es smiled. She was always the one to cheer us up. "Well, if we don hurry, we'll miss the opening bands, and by then the mosh pit will be way too stuffed to get in. Come on!"
