Are we actually building a sky base right now" I laughed, "it's an old meme"
"That's right brother" John chuckled
"Look at this monstrosity" Smitty laughed loudly
I turned round to look
"It basically covers the whole zone" I said
"I'm nearly out of mats" Fitz said
"Uhhh let's leave it like this and just edit" I suggested, "I have mats to close up the gaps"
"Three left" Smitty said
"Two" John corrected him quickly, "just killed one"
"Ahh" Fitz screamed, "shit, I fell"
"How'd you fall?" I asked
"I ran out of mats" Fitz laughed
"Oh my god idiot" Smitty laughed
I watched Smitty's health drop as he became knocked
"You wanna talk about it chief" i chuckled
"Nope" Smitty said
"Okay" I laughed
"Uhhh I got another one" John said, "1 left"
"Where is he?" I asked John
"He's by the lake" John replied, "OH SHITTING HELL"
Fitz, Smitty and I laughed as John fell off the base
"I can't get him" I said still chuckling
"Do you have any rpg ammo left?" John asked
"Uhhh no I don't" I replied, "I might jump, he must be one shot by now"
"No don't jump" Smitty cried
"Too late" I said as I jumped off the edge of the base
I switched to my shotgun and shot at the guy just before I hit the ground. I thought I'd missed until the victory royale banner appeared on the screen.
"No way" Fitz gasped
"What the fuck" Smitty screamed
"Ohhhhhhhhhh my god" I shouted, "I play this game too much"
Smitty, John and Fitz laughed.
"That's was insane Cubby" Fitz said
"Thank you very much" I grinned, "the approval from the great Fitz is an honour"
"I'm gonna end my recording on that" John said, "it doesn't get much better than that"
"Yeah same here" Smitty said, "we've been at it for like 4 hours"
"Wait it's 1 am?" I asked looking at my phone
"For you it is, yes" Fitz said, "i'm going to send you a friend request Cubby, I wanna play with you again"
"I will definitely accept that" I said quickly
Fitz laughed and said goodbye before disconnecting from the call
"I should go to bed but I want to talk to you guys" John said
"So now you want to talk to me" I said to John jokingly
"Duh, gotta find out what Smitty sees in you" John scoffed
"Alright children" Smitty laughed, "stop the fighting"
"She started it" John said in a childish voice
"Oh my god" I groaned, "Canada cut him off"
"Smitty, decide" John said loudly, "it's me or her dude"
"What!" Smitty exclaimed, "don't put me in this position"
"Come on dude, it shouldn't be hard" John said desperately
"Uhhh I dunno bro" I chuckled, "I'm pretty awesome"
"She's not wrong bro" Smitty said to John
"I'm so done" John shouted
I heard a bang on his side of the call and and burst into a fit of giggles
"I'm so glad.... I didn't stop...recording" I hiccuped
"Stop giggling!" Smitty exclaimed, "it's so cute, you're gonna kill me"
"Canada stop" I giggle again, "they're not cute"
"They are though, they are so cute" Smitty laughed
"Ugh you two get a room" John groaned
"What do you mean!" I exclaimed
John ignored me and laughed
"So Cubby, do you do anything else with your life apart from being a full time boyfriend stealer" he chuckled
Smitty laughed and I rolled my eyes
"Wha- i can't even be bothered with you Kryoz" I said
"You didn't answer my question" John pointed out
"I go to uni" I said
"What! Where?" Smitty asked, "you never told me this and we spoke for like three hours"
"It never came up" I laughed, "promise not to laugh if I tell you where"
"Uhhhh I don't know" John started
"John!" Smitty warned, "we promise"
"I go to Stanford" I said quietly
"As in Ivy League Stanford?" Smitty coughed
"Actually it's not part of the Ivy League but yes, that Stanford" I replied
"So that means you're smart" John said
"Uhh I guess so" I replied shyly
"What are you doing in the university?" Smitty asked
"I'm doing a Business course with German on the side, I graduate at the end of this year" I said
"Damn Cubby, so you must be fluent in German by now" John said
He sounded impressed
"I've been fluent since I was 17" I said, "I'm 21 now"
"Say something London" Smitty said
I thought for a bit
"Meine Name ist Cubby und lieber ich Smitty zu John" i smirked
"I don't know what you said but that was kinda hot" John said in awe
"Uhhh thanks?" I said nervously
I smiled to myself knowing that I'd just insulted John
Smitty laughed suddenly and I jumped
"Jesus" I cried, "What was so funny"
"I know what you just said" Smitty laughed
I smiled and shook my head
"John you wouldn't think that was hot if I were you" Smitty said
I don't care if she insulted me" John said, "that was sexy"
I blushed at my desk
"Uhh thanks... I guess?" I said
"John stop hitting on the poor girl" Smitty said
"Says you" John exclaimed, "you wouldn't stop flirting the whole time we were playing"
"Okay chill guys, yeah" I said tentatively
"I am in no way interested in you Cubby" John said suddend
I didn't really know how to respond to that
"I um... uh okay?" I stuttered, "I'm not sure if I should be insulted"
"It was not meant like that" John said quickly, "I mean I just met you like four hours ago, I don't know you that well"
"It's fine John" I chuckled, "if you guys don't mind I'm going to go and edit this masterpiece"
"No go ahead" Smitty said
"Cool, it was great to meet you John. I take it we'll be playing together more" I said happily
"Definitely, glad you met Smitty you seem nice enough" John said
"I'll talk to you later Canada" I said to Smitty
"I'll probably end up calling you tomorrow to see how you're apartment's doing" he chuckled
"Three days in a row talking to you" I groaned, "that's too much"
"Heyyyy" Smitty said in a sad voice
"Awww" I cooed, "that was too cute. I didn't mean it Smit"
"There you go again with the flirting" John groaned
I could tell he was rolling his eyes
"Okay I'll leave now, behave children" I laughed
I left the call and closed discord on my monitor. I realised I hadn't actually stopped the recording so I did that before getting ready to sit through watching it getting clips. Before I started editing I scrolled through the comments of my recent video. Most of the comments were good telling me they liked the content with the boys but you got the few telling me I was using them for clout. I ignored them because the overall outcome on the video was great and it might be on the way to being my most viewed. I returned to watching through the video I just recorded, I could probably get at least two videos out of it, maybe even three. It was going to be a long night.
