ever since as a child, ariah always known that there was something else in the world. although she has complicated relationships with both parents, their influences have conflicted on her. she doesn't know whether her intentions are good or bad. she is conflicted whether she may harm someone or herself. ariah reminds her mother of herself and reminds her father as a human. her mother, geneeva, known to be the greatest witch in greece and her father, marco, known to be a hunter. marco slipped up a case when he met geneeva for the first time. their relationship was taken more seriously when geneeva ended up pregnant and she revealed that she was a witch. since marco was a hunter, he was distraught to discover that he had impregnated a witch. once ariah was brought into the world, marco knew what geneeva's intentions were and he had to protect his daughter from becoming her mother. because of her parents mismatched views, ariah finds it hard to think for herself. she struggles to accept herself as a human and she admits that she doesn't want to become like her wicked mother. she doesn't want to tag along with her and rowena, once she acknowledged that they have been an acquaintance for a very long time. when ariah becomes more dependent on witchcraft and she is unleashing more of her abilities, it often disturbs her human values. that's where her father steps in and takes a part into her life. even if he wasn't a part of her life when he went back to hunting, he still does the littlest things to give back to her. aware of what exists in the supernatural, ever since her father came back into her life, she was introduced to the winchester family. there were some trust issues because she has a part of her that is supernatural. even before all this, she went to college but never made it through successfully, because of supernatural reasons. however, she developed an unofficial relationship with the young winchester and a more friendly relationship with the older brother. yet, everyone knew that when you're involved with a winchester or worked with them, you will always be involved. which is why she is always often tagged along with the winchesters with cases they need help in and more so through their dramatic journey.

┈┈ marco montreal | deceased · · · marco is a hunter who had a one-time fling with geneeva, who later discovered that she was a witch. it just so happened that geneeva ended up pregnant with ariah. he tries to live away from the supernatural life after reckless history with geneeva. yet it tugs him back and forth, especially when he tries to take part on ariah's life. truthfully, he takes care of his daughter better than geneeva knowing how manipulative she could be. unfortunately, after many struggles on his relationship with his daughter, marc's life ends when confronting dark haired ruby and her manipulative schemes which ruby had given him to lilith to use against ariah and sam. when ariah was alone, lilith had spoken with her and confessed to dragging her dad to hell which took a huge toll on her, and she couldn't trust anyone ever again.

DEVELOPS FURTHER NEAR THE END OF SEASON 2.
┈┈ because of what happened throughout college, they sort of distanced themselves after seeing each other last when they were teenagers. ariah had only known the winchesters through her father but never really spent a lot of time working nor knowing the winchester brothers. maybe all that distance was something that sam did to keep her safe, to have a normal life as long as they could without being around each other ─ which failed when the yellow-eyed demon brought sam back into hunting. sam gets protective over her because he thought of her as a mere friend despite their romantic history before college.
┈┈ dean often helps sam get closer to her because he thinks that ariah is a perfect fit for his brother, no matter how much sam would deny. sometimes sam may deny things when he feels embarrassed, especially if dean says something that might be true. to be honest, sam never had good experiences with girls so he didn't want to mess things up with ariah nor put her life at risk.
┈┈ ariah have tried so hard to be there for sam, no matter how many times he would push her away to keep her safe. she sometimes had a wall up because of him. sometimes he had said hurtful things which had her feel that way. she never stopped fighting for him to make the right choice, especially when dark-haired ruby came into the picture. she knew that that demon was manipulating sam which almost yet did ruin whatever relationship they had left. she had almost stopped caring for sam because he became addicted with demon blood. she stopped telling him what to do and just helped dean do whatever they could to prevent lilith from breaking any more seals. during that time where sam disappears upon season four, ariah discovers she's pregnant though it was too late to tell sam when she finds out he has been with ruby the whole time and consuming demon blood from her.
┈┈ otherwise, there have been a lot of complications. she doesn't want to give in so easily when sam tries to make up for what he did. she didn't want to feel weak nor someone to be guilt-tripped into. though she hated staying mad at him, she slowly started letting him in. when she did so, it created more tension and the obvious distraction between the two when they started working together and minor problems would become major problems.
┈┈ sam secretly keeps an eye on her when she's not paying attention. he tries to be discreet about it, though dean catches him in the act and teases him about it. sam is the jealous type when it comes to ariah coming along with their investigations and when a male figure approaches her for other intentions. no one lays a hand on her or else they'll have to face the dangerous version of sam. he doesn't hold back if anyone hurts her. usually, he doesn't back down from a fight.
┈┈ when lucifer comes into the scene, ariah does whatever she can to save sam from becoming his vessel. she hates it when sam risks his life to save the people he loves. she doesn't want him to give up but sam reassures her that he'll come back to her. however, with soulless sam, things are different, and she doesn't stop sticking by his side despite him losing his soul. as much as soulless sam might be inhumane, she knows that there is a part of him that still cares.
┈┈ otherwise, in their relationship, sam likes to be handsy in private. he can be open to pda in public, but he likes appreciate her more when they're alone. he doesn't want to hear teasing remarks from dean which is why he likes to show that he cares when he is physically with her.

┈┈ with dean mistrust with witches especially, he makes things difficult for ariah. he makes everything complicated for her and annoys her sometimes with his brutal critics. he likes to do things on his own without help from a witch. he sometimes goes to sam or bobby about problems about how he feels about her whether it's complicated or not. though, he slowly grows a bond with her over time when he realizes that her intentions had always been good and saved bobby one time. his romantic feelings are often hidden underneath that serious facade. he doesn't like to admit to the feelings first.
┈┈ with a continuous growing relationship, dean becomes the overprotective one. when he gets overprotective, he gets upset when he thinks that he'll be putting her in danger. he knew what life he's living in and he doesn't want ariah to get involved into the dangerous stuff. also, he doesn't let she use her power too much because he is afraid of losing her without admitting that he does. if she is ever in danger, no doubt whoever the threat is has hell to pay. sometimes he puts up a front and acts cold because he doesn't want the enemy to use ariah as their leverage and use her against him to get what they want.
┈┈ when they do get closer throughout the journey, there are open teasing especially one coming from dean. he likes to call her pet names to get on her nerves. it also meant that she has to deal with his cheesy dad jokes and trying to get a laugh out of her, which he succeeds almost every time. honestly, people outside of their relationship would assume that had a fling one time or every once in a while because of how dean acts around her sometimes.
┈┈ when it comes to research, she often helps him with it and almost always gets distracted by each other. when it comes to surprises, dean often get surprised when she is dolled up for special occasions or just dolled up in general. they don't really put labels on their relationship unless they're in the boyfriend/girlfriend dynamic.
┈┈ though dean is the overprotective one, she tries to prevent anything from happening to him. when the mark comes in, she is afraid of losing him forever. she tries everything to remove the mark even if it meant having help from rowena. they both fight for each other whenever needed. if anyone lays a hand on her, dean will just see red and fight anyone who had touched or hurt her.
┈┈ in this relationship, dean winchester is obviously the type to be more handsy such as sneaking a kiss on her cheek, wrapping his arm around her, etc. the man just likes to touch which his love language is physical touch. he is pretty open with pda and doesn't mind showing off.
