Monsters are accepted into the culture of humans but not everybody accepts them on their own, they have fewer rights and often get killed by humans whose heart is full of hate.
Maw tried to oppose all bad things said about monsters with his general sweet personality, the mouth on the back of his head however can talk on its own and makes everything worse.
Funfacts:
-He wasn't born with the mouth he got it when he was wounded at the age of 4
-His mom is a futakuchi onna too, his dad a normal human
-His mouth screams randomly, making him unable to sleep it also requires food
-If he dies, the mouth dies, if the mouth dies he dies too
