Third Step: Characters.

Ito po ang pinaka-favorite na step ko kasi dito po ako nagkaka-idea kung paano i-characterize ang character.
Ito ang first character profiles nila, kaso tatanggalin ko po yung iba, considering na pwede ko pang magamit for other characters.
CASSIDY REYES

NICKNAME: Cass/Cassie
FAMILY: Mom, Dad, and Baby Brother
LIVING IN: Baguio. Nakatira siya kasama ng family. Hindi pa siya nag-mo-move out.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Slightly chubby, layered haircut (long sa likod, short sa harap), chinky eyes, medium nose, and thin lips.
LIKES: podcasts, cartoons, reading, writing
DISLIKES: ang kayabangan ni Ansel, noise, bars, crowds
PERSONALITY: Siya iyong tipong usually tahimik. Makakausap mo lang kung ikaw mismo ang kakausap o siya ang kakausap sa'yo. Wala siyang masyadong tiwala sa sarili niya at laging si Greta ang nag-pu-push sa kanyang gumawa ng mga daring na bagay. Safe kid.

PERSONALITY: Genius Kid. Low EQ. Marunong siyang makisama though kaya may friends siya kaso pihikan din siya sa friends at ang gusto niya mostly ay ang makakausap niya in an intellectual level.
BACKSTORY: Di siya bullied or anything. Although, dahil lagi siyang shinushut down for being a smart ass at laging ginagamit ng iba for personal gain (like good grades), pinagpasyahan niyang maging less involved with people and choose his friends wisely. Si Caz lang ang medyo kinaibigan niya kasi best friend siya ni Greta. Usually, hindi niya pinapakialaman ang circle of friends ni Greta dahil kahit sino ang friends ng kakambal niya.
CURRENT STORY: He got in a job as early as after a week of rest sa graduation. Nagtratrabaho siya from home minsan at minsan doon sa opisina. Nang pinakiusapan siya ni Greta na samahan si Caz nag-agree siya para may excuse siyang magbakasyon.
STRENGTHS: Marunong siyang kumilatis ng taong kakasamahin, may tiwala siya sa sarili niya pero hindi on a way na magmumukha na siyang mayabang, he likes to be proud of what he can actually prove to be proud of though.
WEAKNESSES: Harsh siya magsalita minsan dahil mas gusto niyang nagsasabi kesa nagsesekreto, mahina siya sa EQ kaya minsan insensitive siya sa mga feels ng ibang tao

And eto ang updated, may tinanggal ulit ako sa profile above because I might use it for another character since hindi iyon ang kinalabasan ni Ansel. Like he's supposed to be really insensitive hanggang sa present, but that changed because four years changed him.

Fourth step, writing po.
-------------------------
Ito po ang naging problema sa akin, recently (updayt, medyo na lang poe now. Keri na po ako sa starting haha xD za one dat will always be a problem is middle poe). Hindi po ako satisfied sa start ng mga sinusulat ko, kaya minsan hindi na po ako makapagsimula. Idagdag pa po na nung time na plano ko na pong magsulat, dinala nila ako sa Tagaytay because of a family event.
Pero nakatulong din po iyon, dahil sa Tagatay marami akong nakuhang idea. Most nang naganap po sa story is nagawa ko dahil sa Tagaytay (most specifically, sa Tagaytay Picnic Grove). Like on the way pa lang po kami doon, punong puno na po ng scene ideas ang text file ko.
Mga stuff po aktwal na naganap on the wayto Tagaytay na nilagay ko po sa YMTLL:
(a) McDo scene + CR scene
(b) Pabukas ng bote sa 7-eleven
Yung iba po is inspired from other experiences:
(a) Ferris Wheel
(b) Scene sa isang VN po - Deep Sea Diving
(c) Security System ng company po ni Anselmo
** Pero syempre po, wala po akong Anselmo sa mga scenes na iyan, just me, myself, and I lang poe. Inilagay ko lang siya po on this exp para po masaya.
And so, iyon po ang ginawa ko, naglista lang po ako ng ideas. Nang natapos ko na po, ang next ko pong ginawa ay gawan siya ng outline. May TV po sa pinag-stay-an naming Transient noon at habang nakikinig sa Avengers: Infinity War at You, Me and the End of the World, inarrange ko lahat ng ideas ko per chapter. (Dito ko rin po na-knows ang show na "The Odd Couple")
Ganito po ang process ko with the outline, may story arcs po ako and um, this was designed po as I would design a Visual Novel, which is the following:
(a) Initial - getting to know each other again, being friends, trying to bridge the gap of differences
(b) Mid Initial - nagkakamabutihan
(c) Romance - may kilig na at acknowledgment of feelings
(d) Going Down to End - conflict then happy end
Inarrange ko lahat diyan at ang may pinakamadaming parts dapat ay ang Mid Initial at dapat mas marami pa pong magaganap sa Going Down, may darating pa nga po sanang third party and all.

So, pagbalik ko po from Tagaytay, umupo ako sa harap ng laptop ko at nagsulat lang po ako. Tuloy tuloy hanggang sa hindi na po ako maka-isip nang maisusulat. At 'di po ako naging loyal masyado sa scenes na nakasulat sa outline ko. Actually, yung iba po diyan hindi po umabot sa final version.
Sadyang minsan po characters mo mismo ang mag-de-decide. Minsan ma-fe-feel rin po natin na hindi kailangan ang ibang scenes. Minsan nakadepende po sa flow ng story. Actually, from 24 chapters po ay naging 18 chapters na lang po siya nang matapos po ko.
Gusto ko na nga po siyang tapusin from 15 chapters pa lang po kasi nakalimutan ko yung scenes bago nalasing si Cass. Pero dahil nag-double check po ako, sinulat ko po muna iyon bago yung lasing scene (nakatulong naman po pang-build up).
And habang nag-e-edit po ako, napansin ko pong may something sa ending. So, na-extend pa po siya ng two chapters.
Pero, sa dinami dami po nang nilista ko, hindi po talaga lahat umabot.
example (favorite kong example po haha xD kasi ewan ko kung bakit hindi ko po nilagay, na-refer po siya sa Getting Drunk at Bakasyon tho):
* Mostly natutulog si Caz along the way kaya at one time, he wakes her up by putting the volume up (heavy metal rock song ang music niya). When she wakes and turns it down, he tries stopping her saying that he's sleepy. She offers to talk to him and they have the awkwardest conversation ever. Nainis sa kanya si Caz kasi napaka-unreceptive niyang sumagot. He sighs and tries leading the conversation. Soon, it becomes unbearable and she sighs, she takes her cornicks and starts feeding him. She flashbacks to a scene before where she can at least talk to him a little but this always require Greta. Most of their conversations needs Greta.
Iyan lang po haha xD madami pa po actually na nakakilig na scene, but I removed them po for the sake of pacing and flow. Gagamitin ko na lang po siya sa ibang story.

Fifth step: Editing

Eto po ang mas matagal na proseso. Nag-rest po kasi ako ng isang linggo tapos, usually grammar lang ang ch-in-eck ko. Nung mas sineryoso ko na po ang editing, mas tumagal. Aware rin po kasi ako sa scenes na feel ko filler lang po pero simula nang nag-edit ako, dinagdagan ko na lang siya ng scenes para mag-stand on its own.
Nung finally po natapos ko na ang kalbaryo ng editing at rewriting, doon na ako nag-push ng two day updates. Para na rin mabilis na po siyang matapos ma-post. Thanks ulit po for the patience.
