You and Yedam were best friends for many years, but recently you started to develop deeper feelings for him. You knew that he is busy for his debut, so you didn't even bother to ask him out or confess to him, plus once there was a girl- his girlfriend. Even tho it's been almost 3 months how they broke up, you sometimes think that he still has feelings for her
But today you're finally meeting him. You even bought small gift to congratulate him for his upcoming debut. You went to the playground, where you usually meet each other. You sat on swings and looked at kids playing
"Guess who?" Someone blocked your eyes with their palms and you already knew who it was. You smiled and held his hands
"Umm maybe, Yedam?" You said and got up. Yedam smiled and hugged you
"Ayy, I missed you so much! You got taller!" He said and measured your heights, you slapped his chest and you both chuckled. Yedam put his hand around your shoulders and you two went in cafe

"....and then we literally poured cold water on Junkyu, he jumped out of his bed and screamed!" Yedam laughed while telling you funny moments from his dorm life, you smiled all the time, not from the stories, but finally seeing your best friend aka crush after a long time. You admired his face and thought how lucky you would be as his girlfriend.
"Y/N! Hello~" He waved in your face and you got startled. Yedam chuckled and pinched your cheeks
"Aww you're so cute! What were you thinking about?" He asked and you sipped your coffee
"Nothing, just..." You said and shook your head
"Oh I totally forgot! This is a small gift from me" You said and took a box out from your bag, Yedam's eyes got big as he looked at you.
"Woah, are you serious? Why? It's not my birthday" He joked and you gave him his a present
"But please open it when you get home, I'm a little embarrassed" You said and looked down. Yedam chuckled and nodded
Suddenly he got up and sat next to you. You looked up at him and he pecked your cheek. Your eyes got wide and you blushed hard, it was the best thing that happened to you today
"Thank you Y/N, you're really the best" He said and smiled
You nodded and he hugged you again. You put your head on his shoulders and wished for this moment to never end

You two went in park and then to your old playground. Of course now everything was new and there were a lot kids playing. You two wenf on slides for a few times and he took many pictures of you. You had great time and laughed, enjoying his company, especially when some kids started roasting Yedam, who just wanted to play with them.
Now it was almost evening, there were just few kids running around. You two sat on swings and talked. You told each other about your problems, he talked about how he suffered to debut and you mainly talked how hard for you is your daily life in school/work.
You thought if you should confess to him or not. If not now, maybe later it would be too late, because of his upcoming debut. So you breathed in and turned to him
"Look, it may sound crazy and if you don't think and feel the same I will totally understand, because probably you're too busy to think about things like that and maybe-" You didn't finished when he put his lips on yours. At first it was just innocent peck, but few seconds later it turned into a hot kiss. Everything was happening fast and you two just couldn't control yourselves.
"Oh, I'm sorry...what?" You asked and he chuckled
"There is no need for you to apologize or write essays to confess to me. I knew that you like me the same as I like you. I know that I should have told you earlier but you know I was busy and... It's just that I love you Y/N, I love you with all my heart, every day and night I think how I miss you, how I need you by my side. In all the classes I watched you, sometimes sat in front of you, when I saw you sleeping, because I wanted you to rest, be happy and not get scolded by the teacher" He said and you gasped
"But...how did you know about me writing about you. Oh God...It's so embarrassing..." You asked and he chuckled
"I saw you writing in every Korean lesson something, so one day when I was cleaning class, I looked at your notebook" He said and you felt so embarrassed. Your notebook was full of hearts and Yedam's name and in the middle you wrote your confession to him
"All the time when you had my back, helped me, I thought it's just a friendly gesture..." You said and he laughed. Yedam hugged you and pecked your lips
"I'm so happy that we love each other, I think we were meant to be together" He said and you nodded
"You know what would be the best right now?" He asked and looked at your face. You looked around not knowing what he meant by that
"To go to my house, since my parents are in Japan and cuddle. Maybe watch some movie and eat something with extremely high calories" He said and you laughed. He put his head on your shoulder and you patted his fluffy hair
"Actually, I think the same" You said and Yedam took your hand. You two walked to his house, but before that you played a little in place where you two grew up and now started your relationship- The old playground.
