(Keith's Perspective.)
"LANCE!"
The second he hears his name being called his head shoots up.
"Mama?"
A woman pushes through people and sprints towards us. Lance stands just in time to be run into by her. I recognize the woman as Lance's mother and stand with Anna. Behind them more people are running through and soon all of Lance's family are standing around hugging him. I stand back and look on fondly.
Eventually there's a break in the group and Lance's mom steps towards me. Her eyes land on Anna in my arms then move up to me. She wipes away tears and walks up to me.
"She's beautiful."
"Thank you."
"No, thank you. I could tell from the second I laid eyes on you that you made my boy happy. I'm more than grateful that he met you and you two could be there for each other."
She reaches out to touch Anna's black hair.
"You two make a wonderful couple."
"Mama."
She turns to smile at Lance as he steps away from the crowd.
"I'm so proud of you mijo. You've come so far and I couldn't be happier."
He smiles and slides in beside me.
"Do you want to hold her? Her name is Andromeda Faye McClain."
"Andromeda. I remember that from somewhere."
"It's a galaxy named after a greek princess."
She nods.
"It fits."
I hand Anna over to her and she takes her gently.
"She has your eyes."
She observes before looking at Lance.
"She looks so much like the both of you. She's perfect."
