This sentence caught me of guard and I knew I had to tell him the truth, but...
'No, I never was, and never will be...'
"Yes, i'm fine, Victor." I said averting my eyes from him. I really don't like to tell people about my life outside of school. I don't want other people's pity. Also, I don't want to breakdown in front of Victor.
Victor looked me dead in the eyes as he lifted my chin to so I would face him. " Yuri, please tell the truth! You're not ok, are you?
All of this was just too much to handle. He was prying and I didn't like it
" It doesn't matter! Don't ask me about it!" I said glaring at Victor. He looked shocked at my sudden outburst and I instantly felt bad. At the same time, he's almost a stranger and he might tell someone. I can't trust him enough to tell him about my parents...abusing me.
" Sorry, Victor." I mumbled while wiping some of the tears that were threatening to spill.
'Don't cry in front of him!

I stopped trying to hold the tears back and they came like a waterfall. I felt two strong arms envelope me as I cried into his chest. " Shhh, it's ok. I'll keep you safe." Victor cooed while petting my hair. " I just don't want to hurt anyone else!" I half cried, half whispered.
Victor didn't respond and he just hugged my tighter. I don't know how long I was crying into his chest while he whispered sweet nothings into my ear ever so often. Even know I was crying from all the pent up emotions, for the first time in my life I felt happy. I felt my eyes start to droop and before I fell asleep I heard one last grumble from Victor.
" Don't worry, Yuri. Being hurt is the last thing i'm worried about when it comes to you."
Sorry for the shorter chapter. I tried to make this one somewhat fluffy and I most likely failed. I'm not that fluffy as a person. My mom tried to snuggle with me and I said " fuck this shit i'm out. No thanks!" I promise most of the chapters won't be this short, unless it's an author's note. Anyway, the romance will build up don't worry and I hope I don't wretch your soul out. School already wretched my soul out years ago (=_=).
