Lizzie's pov.
I've been awake for a few hours now.
I' wanna see everyone
Nichole especially.
"Hey! Dipshit. It's so nice to finally see your stupid ass!" I smiled
"We'll hey to you too Lizzie" she said plopping down next to me.
"So what was it like being in a coma" she asked
"We'll I had like lots of dreams and memories" I said
"Wanna hear" I asked
"Spit" she said getting comftorable
"We'll you were in one dream. I had a dream I came home and you and Matt drove me home. I was going through my phone and you were under 'dipshit." I explained
"AM I REALLY THAT IN YOUR PHONE ELIZABETH" she raised her voice a little
"Yessss" I said laughing a little
"We'll your in my phone as asshole. I was kinda feeling bad about it as you were sleeping. Now I don't" she said crossing her arms
"Hey! Rude" I said sitting up
"I'll be right out I have to use the lady's room" I said
Nichole helped me to the bathroom
This iv pole is such a pain to push around
When I walked into the bathroom I saw my face.
I walked over to the mirror and lightly touched my face.
It hurt even to the lightest touch
I had a huge bruise on my cheek.
Jeez. I hope that goes away fast
I went to the bathroom and felt a lot of discomfort.
After I stood up I pulled up my so called dress to look at my body.
Bruises everywhere.
I had this long stitch going sideways on my side.
I heard a knock on the door and Matt opened the door.
His jaw dropped a little.
I fixed myself and turned around gave him a small smile.
"I'm sorry " he said as I was walked into his hug.
"Why? You have no reason to be" I said all muffled because my face was buried in his chest.
"I'm just sorry that you have all these stitches and bruises. I'm just sorry" he said not breaking the hug.
"Matt as much I missed being in your arms and id love staying in this position, my legs are becoming weak as we stand here can you help me to the bed." I said.
"Oh sorry babe. Yea." He said breaking the hug.
He pulled my Iv pole for me and put his other hand on my back for support.
I missed him a lot
I got into bed.
Matt pulled the blankets over me.
"I'll be right back" he said walking fast out of the room
I checked my phone.
"Oh my god."
As I was asleep matt sent me texts
"Hi lizzie I miss you"
"I know you can't read these but I miss texting you"
"Your mom misses you"
"I miss you more though"
"We should get a pet together when you wake up"
"Your beautiful"
"Remember the time in 6th grade you thought you were being all badass so you walked next to the "WET AREA DO NOT WALK" sign and fell"
Oh my god. This is so cute.
Before I could finish reading the rest of the text messages matt walked in with heated blankets.
"Oh my god you are Jesus matthew" I said
He chuckled
"I missed your laugh" I said
"I missed you" he said
"Yea I know. I read the messages." I said and smiled
"Oh" he said Awkwardly
"It was cute and made me happier" I explained
"Lizzie I missed you a lot and I love you." He told me
"I love you too matt. I missed you too" I answered back.
"Matt." I said
"Yea" he answered sitting next to me
"I wanna get a pet with you" I smiled
He was smiling ear to ear
"When you get out and your feeling up to it let's go to the pet store" he said grabbing my hand
I put his hand up to the not so bruised side of my face and nodded
He kissed my head and leaned my head on his chest.
20 minutes before I could fall asleep Nichole walked in with her phone and took a million pictures
"Jesus Christ nichole" I said burring my face into Matthews neck
"Anything you do with Matthew is gonna be cute lizzie" she said
I squinted my eyes at her and gave her the finger
Matt giggled and shook his head while looking at the TV.
I looked up at him looking at the TV.
He's so interested it's cute
"Why are you looking at me" he says without even looking at me.
"Because I find it funny how amused you are in the tv" I explain
He shakes his head and laughs.
It's only 2pm here. Matt and I have spent all morning together.
I miss spending this much time with him.
"Matt can you get the nurse" I said
"Is everything okay?" He asked getting up
"Yea I just have a question" I said
10 minutes later a nurse came back with Matthew
"Hi liz. How are you feeling." She asked
"Better actually. I was wondering if I could go for a walk around the hospital?" I asked
"Yea that's fine! And if your feeling like this tomorrow you can go home tomorrow if you'd like"
"Thank you and yes I would" I smiled.
The nurse left the room and I stood up.
I did a little dance "I get to go home tomorrow. Yeaaa I get to go homeee" I sang to myself as I danced
Matthew was laughing at me.
"Like mah moves" I said as I walked over to him
"Those were.... Quite the moves " he laughed
"Oh shut up" I smacked his chest
We walked out of the room and walked around.
"Where do you wanna go."
" I don't know. Wait. How about my old cancer unit! I wanna visit my old doctor" I said
"Are you sure" matt asked
"Yes!" I answered
"Okay."
"What floor" he asked
"5" I replied
Before matt could press the button I smacked his hand and pushed it
"I'm the button pusher" I said all sassy.
He gave me a weird look
I laughed a little
"When I Came here for my doctor appointments and leave I would yell at my mom for pushing the buttons." I explained.
He laughed at me " really?"
"Yes really. Once a button pusher always a button pusher." I said
The elevator doors opened
I walked in and saw little kids down the hall hooked up to IV poles
"Aw" I heard matt say
I walked up to desk and asked to see my old doctor. Doctor Pearce.
Me and matt sat in the waiting room for 20 minutes
I would look at matt when little kids would walk by him
You could tell in his eyes he truly felt bad for them.
One little girl who was maybe 5
Was adorable as hell.
It was sad to look at her though.
She had blond long hair
She was in the process of loosing her hair.
It was sad but she was still cute
"Hi" the little girl said to Matthew
"Hi" he said back
"What's your name" she asked
"My names matthew. What's your name" he said
"Nora" the little girl said
"That's a very pretty name" matt said
The little girl giggled
She put her hand up for a high five for matt
Matt gave her a high five.
"Matthew can you play games with me" the little girl asked.
"Yes of course" he answered back.
Off went Nora and Matthew.
The way matt is with kids is so adorable.
"Elizabeth rose" dr Pearce said and stuck her arms out
