I tilt my head in curiosity as Orovhimaru disgustingly uses his tongue to lift up a squirming Naruto's shirt slightly.
"See? Your seal surfaced." Orochimaru muses as Naruto continues glaring at him. Raising his right hand and pulling it backwards, he yells, "Gogyo Fuuin! Five element seal!" He proceeds to stab Naruto in the stomach at 5 different points.
Naruto gasps for breath as the air is knocked out of him. I growl. I hate it when people attack my buddy.
His eyes turned back to their normal blue and he fell limp in the grip of the tongue... He reaches into the shuriken pouch of Naruto and pulls out the heaven scroll before tossing Naruto behind him like as though he was a ragdoll.
In the back, Sakura yells at Sasuke, surely hoping that her hero would come to the rescue of Naruto.
"Sasuke-kun! Save Naruto!" She yells in vain to a stunned Sasuke Uchiha. Hiding behind a tree, I sigh. Sasuke isn't able to absorbed all he had seen. All he knew about Naruto was that he was some weak kid who was just overly enthusiastic about being a ninja. He knew that Naruto was a force to be reckoned with but he'd always seen himself as superior in terms of intelligence and skill. At the same time, I dont think Sasuke has ever come across such a ninja who was definately more than 5 times out of his league.
I myself don't know what to do. I remember Kakashi telling me and Leah not to interfere unless its something dire and really in need of our interception. Is this one of those situations? I glanced at Orochimaru. Have I ever had any kind of connection with that sort of evil? I don't understand this feeling of fear, I'd always been so calm and collected throughout. That, though, is probably due to the fact that I technically already know what will happen. This case is no different ! I know what the outcome of this fight is, I should put a stop to this but how?!
"Naruto !" Sakura screams as he starts free falling. "No, Sakura!" I tell her from behind. 'Talk some sense into your little 'sasuke kun' I'll get Naruto.' I tell her telepathically.
I jump after Naruto, catching him and landing on a branch nearby. I put him down and start checking his seal. The mark was still there but fading slowly. It had 5 distinctive marks that oro probably put to seal back the Kyuubi.
But why would he...
I thought.
"What's wrong Sasuke Kun?" She asks upset as she turns to face his direction but gets a shock as she sees him standing there, stunned. She furrows her eyebrows and scolds, "Naruto is different from you, Sasuke Kun ... He's dumber and a nuisance at times but.. At least he's not a coward! Right?!"
At this point, she took Sasuke by surprise as he shockingly looks her way before he closes his eyes painfully remembering something.
Suddenly Sasuke stands straight, his eyes returning to their Sharingan state.
Orochimaru's snake disappears.
Sasuke pulls out a shuriken and puts the side of it in his mouth. He runs forward at Orochimaru, jumps high into the air and does impressive turns and somersaults as he threw multiple kunai at Orochimaru who dodged all of them effortlessly.
Come on sasuke........
The two then engage in hand to hand combat, both easily blocking the others attack. Suddenly Oro sped up a little and disappeared. Sasuke looks around him in anticipation of an attack.
He watches as Orochimaru weaves through the branches and trees around him like a snake, keeping track of his whereabouts and movement.
Just as Orochimaru makes a move to attack, Sasuke jumps out of the way and yells,"I can see you!" Before blowing out fire from his mouth at Orochimaru.
Suddenly oro lashes out from the fire he was engulfed in previously but sasuke jumps back easily.
As Oro stands up slowly, Sasuke gets into a defensive stance. Oro slams his hands down, causing a huge gust of wind to be blown toward sasuke and the tree itself gets slices into half.
Thinking he got sasuke, oro smirks to himself.
That smirk didn't last long.
Sasuke then appears from above, grabbing Orochimaru and quickly flips sides with him, causing oro to fall head first.
Soon, his head hit the tree bark hard, making him go limp. I smile at the impressiveness of sasuke. He wasn't weak and he should know that.
Sasuke jumps away just as the body melts to form mud. "Replacement jutsu!" I yell at him.
In shock, he dodges multiple kunai that fly his way. He falls off the tree but he pulled some strings out and he swung himself to another branch.
That honestly looks really fun...
He lands and gets distracted by something... "Look out!" I yell at him as he turns to face Orochimaru who already released a punch aimed at his face.
Beating him up a little, Sasuke falls to the ground.
"That was too easy. You're not living up to the name of the Uchiha. Oh well, I'm gonna slowly beat you and then kill you. Just like a bug." He lists out with a blood thirsty look in his eye as he lets out a mild chuckle before suddenly being blown forward by surprise.
Sasuke takes the moment to jump away, throwing some shuriken like weapons into the air.
They spin fast and wildly. Sasuke jumps onto a branch and to my amazement, those shuriken weapons were controlled by string that he was holding onto with his mouth and both hands.
He maneuvered them skillfully as they wrapped themselves around oro, tying him tightly to a tree bark. Thus, orochimaru was pinned to the tree, unable to make a move or a hand sign or anything to aid in an escape or attack.
Quickly, Sasuke performed hand signs and then he was engulfed in flames that did not seem to have any harmful effects on himself. The fire then spread toward Oro and started baking his skin alive. This causes him to release a shrill scream.
As the fire subsided, Sakura ran happily beside sasuke, "You did it!" she yelled happily.
My eyes narrow as I take a quick look around. My memory might not remember every little detail about the manga or anime, but I do know he doesn't die here and besides, there's no way it'll be this easy to kill him.
My mind begins spinning fast as small flashes appear in my head but I am unable to see what they are. Orochimaru looks super familiar to me but I assume it's because he's from the anime. However, there's a fear within me that wants to hide from orochimaru and it prays he won't recognize me.
Why would he recognize me though?
I remain perched behind the tree bark, hiding in the shadows as I watch the ongoing or seemingly victorious fight against Orochimaru but this is definitely not the end. Something feels very wrong.

Sorry for the monthly wait for chapters guys... I realise the story has been taking a very long time to progress forward and I should really be moving this along quicker.

I hope you can forgive me and I hope you still like my story and where it is headed.
Btw-this is my story. This means I am in control of whether the character stays in their original personalities or whether they are different than what shown on anime.
Despite the changes, they will still be following the anime. No major changes will be made but please do remember this is my story and I should be able to do whatever I please with it and bring the story wherever I want it to go.
